Daniel,
When you add HTML you must be in the HTML screen of the website editor. I suspect this is the problem.

I have had the same problem today. When I put the html code in my website it don't show the banner and I gave up and went in this forum here. It's not the GDI website is one of my other webs. A couple days before I did not have this problem and it was working fine. Now I read here it's not just me. Maybe something wrong? Would be fine when somebody test it too. Sigrid

You need to put it in the HTML section of the editor. Select the HTML tab at the bottom of the editor

Hi Everybody, I note that there are flash adverts for promotion purposes, but I can't find any jpeg ads. Do I take it that there aren't any? It's just that I have a website to promote products, but I can only use jpeg images.

You can use this one I save my images to my computer, then upload them to www.photobucket.com (it's free). Then you can resize them if need be. To find out the size of a banner, right click on the pic and then click on properties and it will give you the size (among other info about the pic). Thanks for the heads up on photobucket.com .. Now I don't have to worry about how to get into Site Builder's Gallery.

You can upload banners to your webspace just to store them, now you have a url for that banner. You can use a simple web page editor to make your own site as well. I use Adobe page mill. It's an old version but that is all I really need for simple webpages and lead capture pages. I use MS front page also, but that is for advanced users.

I have been looking and asking for the answer to this question and am at a brick wall. I have wanted to put certain banners on surf sites, but in some of them they want the "banner URL site" not the "html" that you put to make the banner. I don't understand this at all. Does that mean a different URL than the origianl "site" URL??? And where can I find this "Banner URL" Computer stupid here! Thanks, Pam

Thanks, Pam A URL is just the actual address eg http://www.somesitesomewhere.ws/images/mybanner.gifHTML is used to display a banner so typically you would use <img src=" http://www.somesitesomewhere.ws/images/mybanner.gif">
