I am now using the hosting option instead of Site Builder but I need to access the gallery in Site Builder to upload banners. With the hosting option, I can no longer access the gallery. So I need to know how and where do I FTP my images to use on my hosted .ws website? http://talented-tenths.ws

I am trying to publish my site to the web with the .WS hosting service. I haven't received an email from WS Support and when I type in http://ftp://mysitename.ws I get a message that says Windows cannot access the folder and to make sure I have permission. What does the email instruct me to do? How do I gain access to the hosting service? What do I have to do?

Hi,

I want to try and host my website that I have done on my ISP service.  If I upload this website to .ws, can I just go into the edit site from the original source?  Or do I need to go in through the .ws site?  I am new to all this, so please bear with me...

HELP

I tried to use the hosting to get my website that I had made up on GDI...anyway, when I try to go to my .ws site I get "forbidden access" message.  What is that all about?!  Is it because I haven't waited long enough, or did I do it wrong?  Geez Sad

You have to use the site builder

OR

Use some propietary software such as front page or dream weaver or hot dog and upload using an FTP package.

You can build using the site builder and then view source and copy it and upload to a host

Hey Gang!

I tried uploading some MP3 audio files (18 MB and 30 MB).

My session timed out.  Repeatedly.
I tried uploading them one at at time into my "gallery".

I'm using the website builder.

I would like to upload these 2 audio trainings for my team.

Any ideas?  I thought that GDI supported this feature. Huh

Thanks!

Hi Karen H,

Yes, it should work since we are given disk space of 100MB.
What is your internet connection speed? That could be the reason.

If it still doesn't work, you can try uploading files to free file hosting places like filefactory.com
Then just link to it from your GDI website.

Once you have regestered your domain name can you ever change it?  Or do you have to quite and start over?

I had the same problem  Embarrassed, so i asked my partner to register another GDI account.
The other option is to register another domain name in your account, then cancel the one that you want to change.
