man i love this forum.

 where would us newbies be without you guys??

 probably quitting by now.

been in about a month. got nothing so far out of about 1000 hits through trafficswarm and trafficG. dont have many email addresses in my book. all of those could care less about internet business. tried all kinds of things. fliers, traffic exchanges, talked to everyone i know. nothing yet. but i'm not giving in that easy.
i know this has a lot of potential. and i am not letting go any time soon.

 just hope i can finally start a downline to make a little money that can be invested into making more money. dont have any extra funds to start. sticking with free traffic until i can find a break.

Hi Eli:

Here is the thing about Traffic Exchanges, a visitor will only see your site for 15 to 20 seconds and then move
on to the next site.  I don't think a prospect will get a good idea about the potential of GDI in those seconds.

However, you can give away some of value (ebook, webcash, adblast) for free to capture that person's
information and then network with that person. 

It all comes down to networking.  Denis Waitley (I am a fan) said years ago, if you are not networking, you may
not be working.  It's all about relationship building.

Actually the key to the traffic exchanges is a splash page with a short catchy message to catch the guys attention in the 15 seconds. It must be simple and straight forward.

I'm not too sure about traffic exchanges... I work real hard using traffic exchanges, getting around 100 Hits to my sites consistently every day.. But still there is very little people who actually sign up.. The problem i am facing now is weird. To be honest, i have only joined for a mth, worked for only the last 2 weeks but have secured 25 new signups through promoting online. The Prob is all of them sign up for the free trial and not after that... Huh

I have tried everything to help my downlines.. I email them regularly, i provide them resources like traffic exchanges and other advertising sites and i even find them downlines of their own!! I even went to the extend of offering to help them advertise their sites out of my own pocket!!! But the thing is, my downlines NEVER respond to me. I have really no idea what can be done. I have been working 20 hours day each day trying build my team, but all i have is a team who i'm not sure if they even exists..

really discouraged... anyone with any advice or faced something similiar?

Hello Tan,

Those 25 people obviously have an interest in working from home or they wouldn't have signed up to try GDI for a free 7 days. Have you tried calling your members by phone and speaking to each one directly?

Hi Tan:

I will add it.  You can not sell GDI in 15 to 20 seconds (the usual lifespan on a traffic exchange).
You can HOWEVER give something of value for free to capture a person's information, then
network with that person and introduce them to GDI.

I have had success with GDI because I treat it like a serious business.  I answer my phone, I return
phone calls and I return e-mails.  I know people who won't do what I just listed.

The honest truth is "successful people do what unsuccessful don't want to do."  It does take patience,
but if you keep plugging away you find others like yourself and eventually you do achieve success.
Success does not happen over night.

I don't know of an easier business than GDI.

Hello Tan!

I often have the same problem - some of my donwline partners just do not answer to my emails and support so I don't even know if they are there. And I cannot call them because they speak another language. I agree to Nicole: always call them if you can!

I tried traffic exchanges, too (ever heard about TurboGDI? It is very good program for traffic eschange). But I donot believe in this.

Try to advertise on places, where you can find targeted and interested traffic. F.e. sites, who are listed in the Top10 by google and co.

Hi Andrew, it takes time, just hang in there.  As far as the free advertsing pages, you can keep trying those but they don't work very well.  What I suggest is to try and do some ezine advertising when you get a little extra money.  Also you can try multiple income streams as I do and advertise in those places.  I built a samll one page website where I do some of that advertising and I use ezines to promote.

Hi,

My experience in several fields tells me that it is better to generate your own leads than rely on others that you may have to pay for. I use a simple but effective method, using splash pages and free ad facilities, to generate my own leads. The benefit of this is that they are warm and untouched by others.

I am also looking for help. I have only been doiing this for a few weeks now however where do u all get these huge lists of leads to invite ??  I know very few to e-mail and really arnt getting any traffic to my site !!!  PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEE  !!!!

i have advertised on e-bay, sign up with various free traffic sites as i dont have much of a budget, i am just sorting some flyers but nothing works.


PLEASE ANYONE WITH IDEAS THAT WORK HELP ME........

YOU all may want to consider talking about the benefits of GDI..
and the concept..

I don't want anyone to freak but I have been promoting GDI
this is now my 3rd week.. My first week I signed up 45 people..
My second week I signed up 25 people.. AND this week just
started and I signed up 8 people so far..

YES, I am marketing totally online using my existing mailing list..
BUT would you believe that total I have signed up almost 80 people
AND that is about 50% of the leads I have generated that have signed
up???  I do not even think I have generated over 200 leads yet..

I believe it is in what I am writing.. PLUS my firm believe and vision
of what GDI offers.. Is what I believe is selling..

I have read many posts of people who have been in months who
have only enrolled a few people.. THINK about how you are marketing..
What are you writing in your ads.. AND most importantly.. FOLLOWING
UP.. If you do NOT follow up.. you mine as well kiss your lead good bye
because when someone else approaches that lead.. they may sell
them.

Way to go Stacy   Grin  Now I want to tell everyone a story; I am an affiliate for another company and have been so for some time, I have placed per click ads on some of the big search engines (which have cost a lot, the benifits are big) and the last ad I placed had 678 clicks in 4 1/2 hours with no sign-up (or conversions). Now, I just signed-up with GDI and am ready to get going. I'm thinking my ad money will be better spent on GDI ads than affiliate programs. Not that I will stop that activity. From what I have seen, GDI and it's associates (us) can do really well and I look forward to a long relationship not only with my upline but with my downline as well.

So, don't give up, hang in there, it sometimes takes time to get things going but going it will. Just don't stop.

If You Are Promoting More Than One Program READ THIS NOW!
If you're trying to become successful by promoting more than
one program, you're working against yourself.

Why? Because you only have a certain amount of time, energy,
and money that you can commit to promoting any program or
business. These are your "advertising resources", and they're
limited.

That means if you're splitting your advertising resources by
advertising two different programs, the results for each of
those programs will be reduced by half.

That would be like opening a restaurant... but closing for two
weeks every month. What would your chances be for success
if you did that? About zero.

And it gets worse if you're advertising more programs! Smiley Grin Shocked Cool Huh Roll Eyes
If you're advertising three programs, each program will have
only 33% of your advertising resources... and lose the other
67%. That's a 67% reduction in new customers, sign-ups,
affiliates, or whatever you're trying to achieve in that program.

It's hard to imagine, but I've seen some people trying to build
four or five or even six different programs at once! They were
desperately trying everything they could think of... but nothing
was working. They were falling farther and farther behind in

"multiple streams of income" to be successful! They say that
you shouldn't count on just one program or just one business
in case it goes under. Isn't that good advice?

Let's put it this way... if you were the owner of a program, and
you knew that 99% of the people who see your website have
already paid to join at least one other program, what would
your advice to those people be?

Would you tell them that their best chance for success is to
focus on the program they've already joined? Probably not.

You'd probably tell them that they need to join your program
too... so they'll have a "safety net" in case the other program
should fail. And even if it doesn't fail, if they join your program
also, they'll have that wonderful phenomenon called "multiple
streams of income".

So is it any wonder that all the experts and gurus (who own
the programs) are so enthusiastic in their endorsement of
the "multiple streams of income" approach? Not really.

But what they don't tell you is that by trying to advertise both
programs, you're causing your own failure in both programs.

They don't tell you that because it's not important... to them.
What's important is that you click that "Join Now!" button
and send in your money. That's what they're interested in!

So forget about trying to advertise more than one program
and remember this... success requires focus.

If you don't believe me, just ask any successful person you
can find whether you should concentrate all your efforts
on building one business... or scatter your efforts among
a bunch of different programs.

I think we both already know the answer to that one!
