I just signed up last night and have been reading the forum all night! It's like a good book that you can't put down! So much information, It's AWESOME!!! I'm really excited about getting started, many of my questions have been answered in the forum. Only one problem, several answers refer to the http://www.gdi-made-easy.ws/SiteBuilder.html link. For some reason, this link isn't opening. I haven't had problems with anything else up to now...any suggestions? Success to all, Laura

Please point me in the right direction. Hi CoreyS, Login to your back office here http://www.website.ws/membersScroll down to the bottom of left hand menu , where it says Registered Domains:..there you'll find your ws domain name, click on that (link) and you'll be taken to the site builder. Hope this helps All the best Dave

I wanted to make a page on my website that was password protected, or you needed a username & login to access the page so that only people I want to access the page can access the page. Is that possible to do with GDI? or do I need another program?
Expert web designers please advise. Thank you
George

carmel Hi Carmel, Your banner code should look something like this <a href=" http://www.yourdestinationwebsiteurl.com" target="_blank"><img src=" http://www.yourbannerimagesource/images/banner.gif" width="468" height="60" border="0"></a> Or you can upload your banner image to the ws gallery, open your page, and while in design mode insert the image onto your page, click on the image to highlight it, and then choose the link option from the editor, and enter your destination URL to make your banner image into a live link. Hope this helps All the best Dave

im wondering if its possible to use sql with GDI as the host.....i've gotten my site uploaded through ftp, can detect sql on the server and php seems to work fine.... but theres 1 main problem, i dont have the information to connect or modify the SQL database for my site.
The information i need is: Database Server Hostname / DSN: localhost //<--------this is just a guess but should work since localhost just redirects to the computer the sites on. Your Database Name: //<------no idea....tried using site here in different ways Database Username: //<------no idea....tried using username Database Password: //<------no idea....tried username password Prefix for tables in database: //<----should be able to put anything.
Error: Critical Error Could not connect to the database
