Hi everyone. I had a brainstorm. I wanted to pass out christmas gifts to my friends but i wanted to give them a 30 day free membership to gdi. ($10)  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this. How would i be able to pay in advance for them ?  How could i make up a gift certificate ? etc. etc.
Along with this idea, I was also hoping to have my GDI DVDS in time for Christmas so that I could hand them out also as small gifts. Does anyone have any idea when we will be receiving our pre-orders?

Just make up gift certificates on your computer.  When they want to use them, they need to come to you and have you help them set it up.  Put that on the certificate.  You give them the $10 to put into their account and they pay with their card for the website.

Or you could buy prepaid debit cards for them once they redeem your gift certificates.  Grin

It's really very simple and we've done this for some of our downline members without the payment method. If you have PayPal acount you can pay their membership for them. All what they need is to contact you and give you their username and password that you'll be able to set up the payment method for them as your PayPal acount. Even if they then change their password you're able to cancel paying them in your PayPal acount.

Well, all thing has a bit catch as you have to trust each other - the prospect has to trust you his username and password and you have trust him that he won't use this payment method for anything else as the monthly fee ... It worked for us so far.

What I've written above is 100 % true and sure, but you have to be extreamly careful with paying the fee for the other people also:

You are allowed to pay only up to 5 acounts with one PayPal acount or credit card, NOT MORE!!!! If you won't respect this rule your acount will be disabled due to abuse.

Also if we're speaking here about the GDIs invite system and invitations note this:

You only can use GDIs leads for which the invitations will be send automatically or YOU MUST KNOW THE PERSONS YOU ENTER IN PERSONALLY. Also if you don't respect this rule your acount will be disabled due to abuse. 

So that means that all the external leads you are not allowed to put into the GDIs invite system and the best solution is to subscribe to one free (or maybe even pay some monthly fee) autoresponder to send this kind of invitations.


We expirienced the thing with paying more then 5 acounts with one PayPal acount so we know the best that this is for sure.

Otherwise I wish to all of you a happy and most all healthy new year and HAPPY GDIing of course!!!

I personally like the debit card idea.  GDI should come out with their own debit cards that we can buy have already loaded to use specifically for GDI and nothing else.

That way the person couldn't use the Debit card for anything else but GDI

What ya'll think.

Just thought I would share what I just came up with today... besides fliers, business cards/drop cards, you can actually create a movie pass/ticket and leave it out to the local businesses or hand them out to people maybe in the parking lot for example. Email me for any request of a sample.  I will be happy to share it with you!

I HAVE EMAILED 50 PEOPLE IN 2 DAYS, AND HAD 1 SIGN UP. I HAVE PUT FLYERS OUT ON HOW TO MAKE EASY MONEY BY STAYING AT HOME. AND NO ONE HAS SIGNED UP.  WHAT IS THE SECRET!!!!

Ask questions from you sponsor or upline?

Network with people who want are business and product.

Remember it takes the average business a few years to be in profit enjoy the tax savings associated while building your GDI  Business.

You are absolutely right. Wink The key is to not give up because remember we have to work hard right now helping others get what they want so that eventually we can get  what we all are seeking for.
This is not a get rich quick scheme, you have to keep up on sending out your leads, keep posting flyers or passing out your business cards, and staying in contact with your premium leads. If you do this for a solid six months GDI guarantees you will start to reap the benefits of your reward. Shocked

So keep up the good work Nick and contact HowardMartell if you have any questions because he a pretty good Idea of how GDI should be run. Well that't my opinion. Grin

There is no secrets.

What there is, is simply common sense and education.

Most people, whether they admit it or not, are intimidated by the internet/computer.
They allow the intimidation to get the upper hand.  Once you reach an understanding
with your computer and the internet and then implement common sense along with
educating yourself to the unknown, you will find things will go much better for you.

Many may read what I post here, but only few if any will take heed to it.

No matter how much or how often people tell you, you must learn what your
business is 100% about, what it offers, etc,

It has always, at least in many ways, appeared to me, that people want things
handed to them on a silver platter, they want someone else to do it for them,
they want someone to give them an easy solution, point them here or there
to get signups or sales....in online business.

When people say to you, read your website, learn what GDI is all about, learn
the entire websites frontwards and backwards, learn your member area, etc...
DO IT and DO IT WITH COMMON SENSE and a NOTEPAD.

For example can you answer these questions :

-How many template designs does GDI offer their members?
-Does GDI offer hosting?
-How many pages will GDI host if they do offer hosting?
-Must you know HTML in order to have a website through GDI?
-Do you have to pay at sign up?
-What happens during the 7 day free trial?
-What are the options for making payment?
-What are the payout options?
-What are the owners names?
-What country is GDI located in?
-Is GDI an international opportunity?

Your notepaid should almost be a short jotter book that consist of
GDI questions and answers.

You should be able to answer any question and every question that
is presented to you concerning your GDI business...or any business
you are a part of, for that matter.

BUT there is much more to keeping a notepad then meets the
question/answer scenario.

When you take the TIME to create a notepad you are in reality
SAVING TIME in the long run PLUS you are puting on your
COMMON SENSE.

What you have now developed and accomplished is a complete
notepaid of your GDI business that will then and only then :

-You'll see ads in your notepaid
-You'll see ALL your TARGET MARKETS
-You'll see ideas that you never thought about before

When people say to you, learn your website inside and out, it
truly means that is your starting point to success.

The questions and answers that you have in your notepaid will
present not just solutions but various solutions.  These various
solutions are a result of an origination of problems and wants
and perhaps needs.

You will be able to define the problems and present the
solutions.  Example :

-Problem One - Most people do not know html

That is certainly a problem for people....but what people?
Is it a problem for all people?

So here is your FIRST TARGET MARKET - people that have a problem
due to wanting to know how to get a website up without learning
html. 

We then proceed onward thru our notepad reading that GDI offers
people their own dot ws domain name.  Could this be a problem for
people?  Would it be a problem for all people?  Here you have presented
another problem :

-Problem Two - Some people want a domain name but do not know
how to go about getting one.

We can use our COMMON SENSE to add to each problem more problems.

-Problem Two - Some people want a domain name but do not know
how to go about getting one.  Some people want a domain name but
do not know what name to choose.  Some people are not sure if they
want or need a domain name or not.

When we do all we can to create a notepad about our business,
writing down questions and answers, learning our GDI biz inside and
out, writing down PROBLEMS and SOLUTIONS, that is when our
mind EASILY can see WHO and WHERE we can go to get signups.

If you see a newsletter that is based on dot com domain names
and that is all it is related to, would that be a good place to advertise
your GDI business?

Probably not.

Do not try to reinvent the wheel and do not try and convert people.

Instead, seek out those that have the problems that you have defined
within your notebook and then present them the solution that you
have already defined within your notebook.

Example Scenario :

*Online electronic free to subscribe business newsletter

Remember COMMON SENSE.

What sort of online business newsletter is it?
Has anyone placed a GDI ad in that newsletter?
If someone has placed a GDI ad in that newsletter, what was the ad?

It never ceases to amaze me the people that will place just any ole
ad in any ole newsletter online.  I always say, advertise every where
and any where IF you have TIME.  BUT if you don't have time then
you best put your COMMON SENSE into action.

Lets say for our scenario the newsletter is about how to be successful
in online business.

That would probably be a pretty good newsletter to place an ad.
WHY would it be?  You MUST ask yourself these COMMON SENSE
QUESTIONS and then ANSWER IT!

Well I think it would be a pretty good newsletter to place an ad
about GDI because GDI offers SOLUTIONS to people in ONLINE
BUSINESS and people that are wanting to get into ONLINE
BUSINESS and people that want to be SUCCESSFUL in ONLINE
BUSINESS.

So there we have defined what we need to do.  You see we
have not only defined that newsletter would be a good place
to enter an ad but we have also NAME our TARGET MARKET
and we KNOW EXACTLY what kind of ad we need to place in
it...don't we?  Sure we do.  How about this ad for that newsletter :

We have the SOLUTION you have been searching for.
Your online success begins with us.  You need a website. 
You need a domain name. You need an online presence. 
We help you to become successful in online business.
Simply send me an email and I will personally reply to you
with complete details. myemail@....

Take note, I do not even bother to state the GDI name
in the ad.  Take note, my ad states I have THEIR SOLUTION.
Take note, I list some things they need in order to be
successful in online business.  Take note I am saying I
will virtually take them by the hand and reply to them
personally from my own email account.

DON'T FALL for SECRETS because there is truly NONE.
What there is, is people that come to know exactly what  it is they
are promoting, use common sense and ideas they generate from their
own noggin thru the knowledge of understanding the biz they are
attempting to recruit people into.

When people enroll, you then also take them by the hand.  You
present the ideas that have worked for you.  You ask them if they
need help setting up their website.  You ask them if they need
help placing clickable links on their website.  You ask them if they
need help choosing a template design.

There are lots and lots of targeted places out there to advertise
free.  YOUR FIRST solution is to understand your GDI biz, have it all
down on paper on your desk.

DON'T let big so called gurus fool you into thinking there is some
mighty all hidden secrets that only the top doggies know.

There are lots and lots and lots of things you can do to gain
success with your GDI business.  Many of things will come to you
easily once you have compiled a notepad about your GDI biz.

Most importantly, do make sure you use a good email address
and solid contact info.  I had one fellow that recently enrolled
at my GDI site, contact me first.  He told me I was the fourth
person he had contacted about GDI and I was the only one
to respond to his questions.  He was thankful and signed up
readily.  WAS IT YOU HE CONTACTED BEFORE ME?

I've had my .ws website for a couple months and so far, I've done nothing.  I've ordered my business cards and they've came in.  So I'm up late/early thinking.  "I wonder what my success would be to just go to a local University and post business cards on bulliton boards?"  My thought, it's a no brainer.  University students are up on technology.  I'm thinking this would be a slam dunk.

Does anyone have any thoughs on this?

Under the invitation area of the members site it saise you have to personally know the prospects you are sending to. It lets you send one hundred a day, so you are not going to know everyone. If I can use the 50 leaeds or more I buy from Global then I should also be able to use qualified leads I buy from other sources on their invite site as well. I just bought 2000 leads( prospects looking for online net working oppor.) Im going to work this angle as well as my warm market and passing out global business cards. I would tend to agree that you still have to build relationships on the web as well.
email people who watched the video and keep in touch with and help your downline. I joined because this things for real and the approac with the video and other sites do all the selling. This company has got it together. I will also use their email leads as well. If it takes ayear to build a 2000 to 10000 a dollar amonth business that will keep growing, whats wrong with that!

Hello all
Happy New year

I came across a book on MLM which is free for distribution.
Anyways there are three phrases that id like to share with you all

Phrase 1:

I would like to show you something

This gives the person you are talking to the impression that you cannot simply describe the thing they have to see it

Phrase 2:

You may or may not be interested

This removes the pressure off their shoulders, people DONT like to be under pressure this knocks it off

Phrase 3:

It will take 7 minutes

This lets them know beforehand the amount of time and gets rid of excuses such as i dont have time
only seven minutes to watch the GDI presentation.

Thats it

Also id like to ask if anyone here has tried this before. (Im planning to soon)

Place an ad in your local newspaper and invite people to a seminar to watch the GDI DVD?

Im just wondering if anyone has tried this before tell me what it was like.
