Business Cards - Which design?

Hey I was just curious if someone here has used both style of business cards and has come to the conclusion that one works better than the other? I kinda like the original design myself with the 1800 number recording on there.

In my opinion, who doesn't have one, the old design is somewhat awkward to fit into a wallet.
The NEW is more like a business card.

Tomorrow I shall be ordering GDI business cards.  Why tomorrow?  Well, I only 'allow' myself a certain amount each month to spend on advertising and promoting products.
I actually have two questions.

One, what kind of card do people seem to respond to more?  I was thinking the new one, as it appears more serious.
Second, how do you distribute your cards?  How do you present your card to people you do not know?  (Ok, three questions...)

  If I understand this correctly, based on what I read in the forum, the new card sends the potential customer  to the site that asks if the person wants a DVD.  Then YOU get billed for it.  That looks awfully financially risky to me as someone who is just starting with this.

   But if you don't agree to pay for it , the order goes upline.  That would mean that somebody else would pay, but they'd also get the customer.  So your recruiting effort has been wasted as far as your own downline is concerned.

    I can see that a successful upline person could afford to pay for all the requested DVDs, but I don't think most beginners are ready for that expense.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong.  This is what I understood from reading other posts in the forum and it appears to be accurate.

Yes It could be risky. You have to buy 10 dvds to qualify for the bonus pool.
I had few to request a dvd. They end up joining my team. Not all will join.

Its good to test it out.

I am using the Free Vista Print cards and they are starting to work. If you ask my wife she will tell you I am the original cheapskate! Not so cause if I am in Las Vegas I am ordering Surf and Turf at Gallagher's! Everyone has to know their limitations...LOL

I got the new version of the GDI  business cards and had no success with them at all, I orderd 1000 cards and really wasted my money. I think that the ferrari cards are better. I might try those next. But for the price that 1 print offers business cards I going to see if I can make my own business cards. Although I did not get any signups to GDI everyone that I handed my cards out too said that they loved the card ( i thought that was pretty cool) I mean they are really nice cards.

but that was my own personal experience with the Income For Life GDI business cards.

You can get free samples of the cards at http://www.1print.ws/index.shtml?printws 

all you do is click on free samples and fill in the stuff and they will mail them to you. I did this so that I could physically see the cards and its pretty cool. They will send you there different types of cards. Good luck

Buying DVDs and business cards are hardly a financial risk.

If you like the cards - Buy them - If you don't like the cards don't buy them, but you need to promote YOUR business to have any success. FOCUS on production - you control your activity.

I just wanted to share this.     I decided to try and make a few business cards...and I think they came out pretty good!  It was easy and fun, too.  I went to my local Walmart and for about $4 I got a package of Avery business cards/150 ct.  I wanted to test out the waters before I got BUNCHES of them..LOL  It was fun to pick out and design and so easy!  Now mine are a bit different than all others.  I made a few for potential leads, and some for marketing to Businesses. 
I would like to show you picture of them, but don't know how to get them on here..
