Hi Dennis,

Welcome on board. Yes, most sites allow you to do so. It's a good idea to try to use Free advertise when first starting off. Try getting a few prospects for the 7 day trial and communicate with them every few days to encourage them. Most people quit when they don't get replys or don't hear from their upline. Also google search for more places/opportunities to advertise for free.

Hello all:

I have been a member here since Nov 27, 2009, I would like to over some of my clients the webhosting feature, hoping to convert them to the opportunity, but I do not see any marketing materials offering this only. When I click to my link I just see the opportunity pages.

Even though the opportunity is great, the products/services should be marketed also.

Opens up more revenue lines for all.

Hi gina,

I don't want to disappoint or offend you and this is just an opinion since we are sharing ideas to boost our businesses. Sending flyers, cold callings, buying leads, prospecting are old school ways of marketing. The one's you don't know and has no knowledge or interest in our industry are likely the ones that won't stay long in the business. If we want retention, market your business to your targeted customers. People that already bought products online, fellow networking marketers. these are our warm market. These people already believed in the potential of making money on the internet.

I am new to GDI and I have been with this business for about 7 months and I still don't have any customers. I have DVD's but don't know how to market them. I don't know how to use the flyers, if anyone can give me some marketing ideas of how to find/land some leads and prospects.

Hello there!
    This is my very first time in the forum, and I just discovered it here. I've been busy browsing different offers online, and waste too much time doing it. I've been in GDI almost 3 months already, and I got only 2 sign-ups and dormant! Is there any way possible to receive many sign-ups online, aside from sending invitation through emails. Because last 2 days ago I sent 203 emails and only 5 response but did not sign-ups, they only watch the presentations.
Is there any suggestions out there? Thanks!

I blasted an ad in several weekly classified periodicals. It cost a lot and ROI was slow, but I got several signups.  It works, it is just very expensive.

Kudos for taking action. I hope you captured their contact information and put your new leads into an autoresponder with your funded proposals.

Many people will not join your GDI business but with a properly set up funnel you could make affiliate commissions that you can use to pay for more advertising.

Landing Pages or also know as a squeeze page. They are the marketing pipeline where traffic is sent to. Today, Landing pages are a crucial tool used to building any internet business no matter what the product or services are. But, there is a right and a wrong way to using them and if not used correctly they could hurt the business.

The purpose for using landing pages is to convert visitors into buyers. They provide
valuable information about the product/services and how much money a potential visitor may make.  If a visitor can not be converted from the landing page then nothing else will even matter. Meaning that the visitor didn't find what they were looking for.

Most people will use a landing page as a web page. Unless you have created your own landing page this would be considered the wrong way of using a landing page. The problem is that if a online business creates a landing page  for their affiliate program, how many landing pages would you say is on the internet. For one online business there could be thousands of the same landing page on the internet. Search Engines don't like duplication so, they won't bother crawling the site to give it ranking. Search Engines like fresh content to offer the surfers.

I use a landing page as an informational page that is linked from my blog or article. I created a blog that I update just about everyday. I keep fresh new content on the blog so the search engines will crawl my site in hopes to rank my blog at the top. Same thing with articles, as I write an article I place a link to the landing page at the
bottom of the article. When someone reads my article the link is offered.

The next time you are using a landing page type in keywords for the landing page on a search engine and see how many other people are using the same landing page. If they are on top they won't stay there long. You can and will get better results if you take the time to create a blog and/or article with a landing page link. You can even make the have similar information as the landing page and add the link as an opportunity for more information.
