Good work Smiley Consider reducing the amount of white space. While your site is nice and clear you need to use the area on the page in a little more condensed format for greater penetration.

Great use of a GDI domain well done. You really need pictures of your products. You should also rename your menu items to something other than page1 page2 etc

Hi all

I've just started with GDI - so greetings from the UK.

I like to have a logical flow to my work from the point of view of the first time visitor, and I played around with the sitebuilder before giving up and opting to use the company pages.

What I've done is to copy the HTML from the flash page http://website.ws/kvmlm2/preflash.dhtml?sponsor=USERID and pasted into a HTML editor (I use HTML-Kit) and renamed it index.html. Put my userid in place.

Then changed some of the links on the top menu to point at the company pages for "Company Information", "Product overview" etc - because they will not work otherwise. Then I added a link to the Testimonials. It was then uploaded to my webspace.

It's here - http://www.premieruk.ws

All the links to my user name seem to be OK

Have I made any serious errors??

The reason I did it this way?

I liked that front page for impact and it wasn't too long. However - is there a better way to do this?

Cheers

Hi Peter - no problem with what you have done at all. Having said that you might consider doing some work on your front page with a link to this page. There are many copies of this page online and you should try and be different.

Thanks for the response Rod.

I rather suspected that a lot of people would be using this format as a front page. However the question is - How do prospects find this page?

If they do it by personal recommendation or by way of a lead, and they are directed here, then it does not matter that there are many clones out there - or does it?

It seems unlikely that they will find this page by search engine so there is not much requirement for SEO.

I do take on board the idea of "personalising" the front page perhaps by colour or re-writing or using different testemonials maybe.

You make a comment about a link to "this page" - to which page are you referring? If you mean inward to my front page at www.premieruk.ws then I see this page as the first point of contact after any e-mail campaign or personal contact. Other inward links being the usual suspects such as advertising, signature files, articles, forums etc.
Any other ideas would be welcome, but at the moment I am concerned about the "flow" through the recruitment process of which the website is one part. You see - I'm a mechanic at heart!!

cheers

Hi Peter -
1)It is highly unlikely the SE will find the page on its own merit which is why you should put your own unique content on the page.
2)Yes link from the front page to the GDI page
3)The easiest way to drive traffic to your site is to work the traffic exchanges or use pay per click. There is a list of traffic exchanges that work in

Hi Ladies and Gentlemen! I've further enhanced my website thanks to some of your helpful advice. My site is a little different since I built it while still in Iraq. I wanted to get a headstart for when I return to the states in early spring. My ten pages have a lot of pictures from my time in Kuwait and Iraq.I also have business pages and geneology pages. I'm trying to connect my pages by linking and inviting friends and aquaintances. The sitebuilder is very easy to work with. I like how it is shaping up. All good things take time and that includes building a business base. I'm here for the long term and I hope you are too. John

Nice work Sharon Smiley You might want to check your punctuation and the Keep a constant theme in your menu - some of it is in lower case and some of it is ALL CAPITALS.
