I have my .ws e-mail forward to my Yahoo e-mail.  But it's not consistent.  Sometimes it does and sometimes I lose the e-mail altogether?  Anyone else experience this?

They can't actually use it because only you will be authorised to create email addresses using your domain name.
Unless they have your login info to your GDI backoffice.

Although I have been a member of GDI for over two years and I find aspects of the product useful, I have never felt confident enough to recommend it to any body else.

The reason for this is quite simple.

.ws email addresses are spam magnets.

I recently opened a new email account and IMMEDIATELY it was flooded with adverts for viagra, sex services and pharmaceuticals! I do not want to have an email client that I have to combine with others in order to be able to have some control over what ends up in my mail box - that would simply overwhelm one box and g¡ve a daily task that would be too time consuming.

It is way past time that GDI had a feature to record and block spam emails - similar to Yahoo! and Hotmail.

I totally agree! I had sent support an email about this same problem, and this was the response. It's nice to know it will be available at some point, sooner than later, I hope.

Good Morning Patricia,

Unfortunately the email.ws interface currently does not offer any type
of spam filtering function, however; we will be   updating our email
system in the near future and will include such features. We currently
do not have an estimated time  of completion for the email.ws update.

If you need additional help, please reply to this email making sure to
include the original messages for an accurate response. If you prefer,
you may call us at (1) 760-602-3000 M-F 8-5 Pacific Time. Please listen
to the entire list of telephone choices in order to ensure you reach
 the
proper department.

Kindest Regards,

Steve

Hello Nicolas,

Based off your question, you need to setup your outgoing SMTP server.  Normally your ISP would provide this information, so contact them.

Depending on who your ISP is, i would look something like this:  smtp.YOUR-ISP.com

Hope this helps...

I have a question about email.

Is it possible to forward all email from other places (Yahoo, Gmail, AOL) to your email.ws? If so, can somebody explain it to me? All help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, it is possible.
If you are using gmail, login to your gmail
> click "settings" on the top right
> click Forwarding and POP/IMAP
> check the radio button for "Forward a copy of incoming mail to" and fill in your email.ws address

Thanks DPro. I got that part working now.

Now I have another question.

A member of my downline was asking me how does the automated system work with emails? I had a little tough time coming up with an answer for that one myself.

I use the .ws email system all the time despite the fact that it's a bit basic. The new version that came out a few months (or was it weeks I cant remember), although I always use the standard version that is because in the advance version all the links seem to dissapear.

Anyway has anyone been using the Mail Filters? I have several filters now, some work and some don't still trying to work out why, but I was wondering, can these filter be listed alphabetically. It's difficult trying to search for a filter because they are listed in order of when they were created, so can they be listed alphabetically

thanks
