Hi Jose, did you get any help on your blog question?

I've done a bit with Wordpress over the years, not the most experienced person, but I've had a few blogs.

Was this Wordpress update done through the Wordpress platform, or through GDI? I did notice that on GDI's website on the page that talks about the plugins that there are some issues with doing the Wordpress updates, likely you noticed that too.

To quote from their site...

"It has been brought to our attention that members who attempt to upgrade their WordPress blog from within their WordPress interface using the automated option are encountering issues with their websites and/or their WordPress login pages not displaying properly. Our technicians are working on a implementing a possible fix. We ask that current members refrain from upgrading their WordPress blogs using the automated option in order to avoid possible issues with their WordPress blogs. If you would like to upgrade your WordPress blog to the latest version, you may still do so via FTP. For instructions on how to go about updating your blog manually, please visit http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update. "

Hi everyone!

I've been a GDI customer for several years, and just in the last year I have started to actually use my email address that goes with my .ws domain more frequently. I have used that email address to opt into several different lists, and from that I now am getting 30-50 emails a day from various different sources, all in the same niche, so it seems clear that someone has distributed my email around.

I am sick of deleting that many junk emails per day, and yet I don't want to close the address, cause it is one that I like to use.

Is there anything that I can do legally to stop all this spam?

In the email.ws where I go to read my email, I have looked for a filter or something that I can block any addresses containing certain words or websites, but I haven't found anything. I thought of creating a 'gone on vacation' type auto message, but I would have to divert all my valid emails from friends and business contacts to another email address, and that kind of goes against why I have bought GDI, to be my 'website and email address for life'.

Any help would be appreciated!

I've not been able to log into the admin on my wordpress blog, I just get a blank screen with this in the url field...

Anyone know what's going on?

I sent a support ticket in on the website.ws main members site the other day, but haven't got any replies yet.
