Vince, I don't have an answer, but rather a question. Why would you want to do that? In my view this forum does not exude enthusiasm and success, and is definitley not abuzz with regular postings that suggest it is humming with enthusiasm and support. I'm not sure I would want to refer a prospect here. Perhaps I'm missing something. Any comment?

.WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: If first downline quits will I loose their downline?

Further question: Do those people in levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 all roll up one level? i.e. Would your lost Level 1 person's position be filled by the level 2 people, with you becoming their immediate upline and 'sponsor'? And if you already had 5 levels in that downline, would the people on your (unpaid) 6th level now become your new 5th level on which you would earn? Thanks.
If this is explained elsewhere, could you aim me at the explanation please. Thanks.

.WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Hi from Cape Town, South Africa

I bought the GDI system in January 2008, so I'm technically not a GDI newbie. However, I have not yet gone full-out with effective marketing but I am gearing up for that at present. I spent my time trying to build my website with the GDI site-builder, and then with PageBreeze, and later with Microsoft Expression Web. I was thrilled when GDI announced the introduction of the WordPress and other plug-ins, and I haven't looked back since. One way I will be doing my marketing is to show people the two 'sites' I have built using the WordPress plugin at no extra cost. So I am effectively paying $5 pm for each site, one of which is the sub-domain. That way they can see that it is both easy to get their sites online, and also have the added advantage of the network marketing system. I think it is ineffective to promote the income plan right upfront. A visitor needs to feel some human element first, and not just raw sales pitching. I have a long way to go still, but if any of you newbies want to take a look at my two .WS sites, please feel free to do so. I intend to devote some time to following the GDI videos and other training available here and in the forums. Go well, and all the best to everyone! Here are my two URLs: www.GavinHoole.wsand www.k53.GavinHoole.ws

It used to be quick and efficient. It seems things have changed.
I submitted a question this evening (S. Afr time) via the online contact form and haven't had an autoresponse acknowledgement.
My last query was an e-mail sent on 23 June 2012. It's now 5 July and I haven't had a response.

.WS Services / WebSite Development / Forum Plug-in: Creating sub-forums

I've been battling for hours to find out how to create a sub-form (board) below a forum (board) but cannot for the life of me work it out. And the forum plug-in doesn't seem to have a Help link. E.g. I want a set-up like this: MAIN TOPIC A FORUM Sub-topic A.1 Forum Sub-topic A.2 Forum Sub-topic A.3 Forum MAIN TOPIC B FORUM Sub-topic B.1 Forum Sub-topic B.2 Forum Sub-topic B.3 Forum Does anyone know how to do this? Whenever I create a new forum, and want to select parent, the only option I ever get is the original BB forum (which I renamed Administration) with the BB welcome message post. I want to select as parent one of the new forums I created. Thanks in advance.

.WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: My blog has gone 404

I think it will be fine. I lost my entire website (using a WP plug-in) a few days ago and my WP sub-domain site too. Then a couple of days later the home pages were accessible but nothing else, and none of the internal links worked.
Then all pages were eventually working again (this morning South Africa time). Now, this afternoon, the whole site is down again. It crashed as I was editing a page. Grrr.
GDI are aware of the issues related to the various plug-ins, and they have been working on it over the past few days. The last e-mail I received (earlier today) said all should now be fine. Trouble is, it isn't.
It's very frustrating. I am promoting some pages in Twitter and Facebook and keep having to delete the posts when I find that suddenly the site is belly-up again.
However, my experience has been that GDI have good customer service and they will fix it as soon as they possibly can.
So, don't panic. We just need patience, I guess - even though it's very irritating and bad for business and traffic. If people hit a dud site they often never come back, I imagine.

Hi Albert. To be honest, I find your home page extremely 'busy' with too many flashing ads all over the place. It is confusing and makes me want to leave. It needs more focus. A good plan is to focus each page on one topic and to build your content around that topic, including that page's main keyword a few times on that page so that the search engines can pick up what that page is about. Here are a couple of suggestions: - Go to www.Alexa.com and download their traffic ranking toolbar. Whenever you're on a website it will show you the traffic ranking for that site. The higher the number the further you are from the top position.
- See what your own site's ranking is, and compare it with other sites you're competing with in your theme.
- At a site with a good traffic ranking, click on your browser's menu option to view the page source and see what keywords the site is using in the keywords meta tag near the top ... like this: <META Name="Keywords" Content="law of attraction, success secrets, how to grow success">
- Check out this site for webmasters: http://www.googlekeywordtool.com/ and Google's own Webmaster Central at http://bit.ly/flxABs
- When you use a keyword tool, choose keywords that have high search numbers and relatively low competition. This will help your site to get found amidst the million other sites out there.
It takes time, so be diligent and patient, and keep plugging away. I hope this helps. Have fun! Gavin, South Africa
