The GDI Marketing Kits includes several marketing items such as flyers and brochures. Simply select the kit materials you wish to receive, and click "Go!" hello im just new here in GDI, I tried to sign-up for the 7 days free trial, but they automatically deducted 15 dollars from my credit card?
At the time of registration you were charged $15 dollars for the annual maintenance fee. Annual maintenance fees apply to domain extensions other then .WS, such as .ORG, .NET, .COM etc. Global Domains International has exclusive rights and are the official registry of .WS domain extension and do not impose maintenance fees. However because all non .WS domains are obtained from other registries they are required to charge that registrar's fees. Please note that this is a one time fee for a 12 month period, beginning upon the month of your domain registration. |

Hi Everyone, I wonder if someone could assist me with a problem that I have in relation to one of my GDI websites www.metrangroup.com I engaged someone to start developing the website and I now unable to have any contact with this person. Subsequently, now that I want to add content and develop this website further I don't have any information regarding the FTP details that will allow another website builder carry out this work for me. Can someone help me with information about how this information (FTP details) can be retrieved so I can arrange for someone to finish off the website for me? No. An account with a 'Trial' status represents a user who is currently in the 7 day trial period, which means they have not paid a penny to GDI. And for that reason, you (as an affiliate) are not entitled to receive any kind of commission. However, if the user purchases some extra goods, or another domain while on the trial period, they will still have to complete payment immediately (only for the extra products/services purchased), as the trial period only allows users to try ONE domain with Domain Privacy for 7 days, nothing else. So you will be entitled for a commission if the user makes more purchases while in the trial period. Nav Good Afternoon New GDI Members will receive a 7 day free trial period for all domains as well as Premium Service and Domain Privacy selected at the time of registration. GDI members will be charged immediately for any domains or domain services added to the account after the initial registration process. The only products that qualify for commissions earned are domains and domain services. Marketing materials under the "Order Goodies" section do not qualify for commissions. |

I was contacted today through a traffic exchange by some one called Adam Stanley. I had asked in the chat stream if GDI Team Elite accepted members who were already in GDI. He said no and got very pushy and quite rude when I said I had two domains here already and even though I don't do a lot of promotion and recruiting, I was happy with my existing sponsor. He said it wasn't worth being in GDI if you don't promote and sorry I disagree.
Is there some rule against these people who try to get you to move into their team?
Good Afternoon, It is against GDI policies to cross recruit; no matter if it is another competing program/service or a different Affiliate or downline within the GDI system. Please review section #40 of the Independent Affiliate Agreements Terms and Conditions for more detailed information about "Cross-Sponsoring". |

I invested a lot of money in IDN's and GDI and waiting for the auction page for a loooooooot of time. I bought my websites in 05-JUL-11 and still waiting for that freaking page. I'm very angry with GDI. I email them several times and the same answer. We don't know. (Good Morning,
We are still actively working on the IDN auction site. Unfortunately we do not have a timeframe as to when the auction site will be available but that we hope to have it up and running soon. Pease check twitter and facebook for updates. )You want to be seen like a big company, but you don't act like it. I've tried other auctions websites, but they did not support the characters outside of the English alphabet. If anyone had find where to sale them .... please reply. So come on GDI ... hire some people and get it done. Or this is a scam and you want us to register our websites for another year and pay a lot of money again???

Hi guys,
Just a quick question. I am trying to send invites to my hotmail contacts. I have found there are two prebuilt templates that can get mailed to these contacts. My question about this, is it possible to edit these templates before sending them so that i can include some stuff of my own?

Hi, Unfortunately the email invitations can not be edited. However you may create your own email invitation to send to prospective members. |

Hi, Your website www.latest-discount.ws is currently displaying online. Just be sure you are typing the domain name into your URL address bar and not the browsers search option. If you are still unable to view your website online, you may want to clear your browsers cache. |

How To delete all the files on the host that it ?
Hi, If your DNS is set to Hosting and you wish to remove files: - Connect to the Server via your FTP client. - Right click the file on the server side, and delete. If your DNS is set to SiteBuilder and you wish to remove files: Sitebuilder Page Content : - Right-click over the page content to bring up the right-click menu. - Select Delete (Sends a file to the Recycle Bin) Sitebuilder Pages: - Click the “Delete” icon located in the Pages area, or right-clicking over a page and selecting “Delete” from the menu. Sitebuilder Gallery Folders: - Click the “Delete Folder” icon located in the Gallery section to delete a folder, or you may right-click over any folder and select “Delete”. Important tip: Only empty folders may be deleted. All files in a folder must be deleted or moved to another folder before the folder may be deleted. |

Unfortunately blogging engines are not supported on GDI servers due to the common required use of MySQL and Apache Modules. However you can forward your .WS domain to your Blogger Blog url.
Whitney, I'm slightly puzzled to what you mean when you say "due to the common required use of MySQL". WordPress also uses MySQL to not only run on the admins side, but also on the visitors side as the info (Posts, Comments, Images, etc etc) is fetched from SQL constantly. Blogger puts more traffic on the SQL side then WordPress? To be honest, I never even knew you could use blogger on a self hosted domain. Thought it was only available as a service from Google. So if that's the case (blogger putting to much pressure on the SQL side), how much taffic can these servers take? We're working on a product for GDI members that links to WordPress and will use the SQL db (same one that WordPress uses) to store information, so thats why I'm curious to know how much these servers can handle. Nav Hello Nav, You are correct in stating that WordPress utilizes MySQL. However, we do not offer a hosting package in which you have access to an SQL database natively. The WordPress service that we offer is exactly as it is: WordPress. It is not a hosting package with SQL database privileges. Attempting to install third-party software packages such as Blogger into the WordPress environment will very likely fail. The question of why this cannot be done is not that of what our servers can handle with regards to traffic, but simply that your actions will be unsupported by our servers. The WordPress environment is very specifically tailored to work with WordPress, and compatibility with other software is in no way guaranteed. Consequently, we do not advise attempting to modify the WordPress environment to perform actions that it is not configured to handle as the likelihood of incompatibility is high. Unfortunately, there currently is not a method that you could utilize in order to install Blogger on your GDI Hosting account as SQL services are not included in that environment. If you are developing a plugin or service that works alongside with the WordPress service that our company provides, you are more than welcome to do so. But from your description, if it involves requiring a Blogger installation to also be present on your (sub)domain, we cannot guarantee that it will perform as intended. |

Hello
To forward your .WS domain to a blog or alternate URL address, you may do so using the Domain Forwarding option from within your GDI Members Area.
1. Click the "Domains" button.
2. Select the "Change DNS" link.
3. Select the "Domain Forwarding" option and Click the "Continue" button.
4. Enter the destination URL address and click the "Update" button.
Once you have successfully updated URL Forwarding, please allow 24-72 hours for full propagation of your changes to take effect.
