Moved my blog over to the site. Love it! Works great. I was able to change the links in the side board to be static menu items. http://www.onestepahead.ws

So impressed with the set up of GDI. I love the fact that I can have a website and hosting refer others and in turn use the money I make to pay for my own site! So in fact I have free domain and hosting for the rest of my life!

I hope this is ok to post and doesn't violate any rules of any kind. When I made my website I decided to use a very short and easy to remember name easy to recite to others. David was already taken so I selected Davo, two syllables like ebay, etc. my website is http://davo.wsI know there are ways to spice it up but I wanted to keep it as simple as possible in such a way that I can easily add more content. I also have seen that trailer movies that open up or some kinds of moving flashing banners will lock up the website in if in any kind of surf rotation type of system. I use surf sites but despise people who intentionally use techniques that lock up my browser. I don't care what the site is, if it locks up my browser its gone as fast as I can get the browser going again. I feel the same way about pop ups too. Maybe they work for some people, but I personally dont use them as I think its all disrespectful. If anyone has any ideas of how to make it better while keeping it simple to input additional data let me know. Let me see yours beside mine and see what you are doing. Thank You David F

Okay... my web site is at http://widesweepmarketing.ws. I know, I know -- it seems cluttered to some folks. I went a little overboard and I've been trimming things down a bit. I need to create or locate images for the top navigation and split my content areas into clear-cut sub-sections. I build sites on my day job, and this personal one would never pass QA there! I've taken some short cuts on alignment and on making the site clean-but and professional looking, but when you work at a computer all day, you don't want to be on it for hours at night. I joined GDI for the business itself, but I needed a place to park my presence when I decided to leave CashCulture (my original site on the web). Rose
