Thanks everyone. I learned a lot from this posting. I am not a very artistic person so this helps me a get deal. All the flyers and ads were great. : Are all the ads just for newspapers & magazines or could you also use them in flyers? I don't have the finances for paid ads at this time. Hope to come up with some of my own in the near furture then I post them. Thanks again. Diane

Awesome, Logan! Do keep us posted on the results you get from your ad! I think it's great that you're passing out flyers to businesses locally. I have been doing the same thing and am getting a good response thus far.

Have to pull a Norma here, but I just got an idea. There are so many sites now that let people make their own t-shirts, mouse pads, mugs, bumper stickers, key chains etc., really cheap (I've done it for stuff for the kids and for my own personal stuff)... why not make up some silly t-shirts, etc, with some of these ads (Like the "Got Dot?" from the sig thread?) Some of the sites also allow you to make greating cards, postcards, all kinds of stuff (I did this around the holidays last year). Oh and by the way, to Diane, I often use a lot of my banners (a few I posted somewhere here) also as flyers. It's easy to blow them up to a whole or half page size, or vice versa, if you're shrinking a flyer down for a banner. If you need flyer ideas, this is a great thread to cull ideas from. Once you've got the lingo down, you can use it in any form, really. As a signature line, as a flyer, as an ad in a paper... maybe the wording would have to be changed a tiny bit, but usually, it's all pretty versatile. Hope that made sense? I'm tired.

Logan, Those are some great short ads to use. You are good at that! I was thinking that a lot of places around here have mail slots in the doors in business complex places. We could slip smaller flyers or even cards in them at night. I could do THAT with my dobe and not get killed in Gainesville Florida the Nutzoid camp out of the country. We are due another Bundy type-its been a while. I do not want to be next!! But I am seriously thinking about doing that and your samples could be the trick I could use for it. Make small flyers with them on good paper and cut them out. Thanks, Deborah H

Just discovered the forum today (loving it, so far). I'm getting great ideas! I'm waiting for my business cards to arrive and am wondering how long it normally takes. I'm so anxious to get those suckers and start passing them out.

Ok, I've got an idea for a headline...just not sure exactly what the text will say yet! Here it is: "Fortune 500 company needs YOU to help resell its services…" I've been having alot of success on Craigslist, both for GDI and the company I run, with headlines like the one above. I'm getting alot of hits and generating alot of interest and emails requesting more info. I only have one "real" GDI downline member so far, but I plan on getting more once I help him grow that "leg" down...I'd like to help him get at least five downline members before I start growing my downline again.

Patricia, thank you for your kind response. Like you, I am still learning how to get my ideas up on the board with personal pics. I am sure we will figure it out soon! I am awe struck over all the members that are computer savvy. However, I am researching and learning one step at a time. All my best, Norma Hello Norma, Patricia and everybody else of corse! Now, for the last time (as I've posted so much about the pictures on this forum already) The pictures you can post on this forum that way: - First of all you have to put them in the SiteBuilder galery or you have to host them somewhere else on the net
- then you use the function INSERT IMAGE above and the Image brackets appear
- Inbetween those brackets you put the URL where the image is stored
That's it. Now example: http:// URL WHERE THE PICTURE IS SOTRED (I've used <> because otherwise the example wouldn't appear right. It apears that way then: That picture is even not stored in my SiteBuilder galery! ATTENTION: In your SiteBuilder image galery you have to click on the link of the picture first and then when picture apears in the other window you rightclick and select properties. A new window apears and there is written URL of your picture. That URL is the right one to put inbetween those brackets here.
If you have stored the picture on MSN SPACE you have actually sign in first and then open the galery, rightclick on the picture you want to add and then select properties and copy the URL from there.
Direct uploading from your computer to the forum is not possible!!! Well that's it now! I hope you all understood now!!! In the future I'll put all those things I've once written here on the forum and are already remooved on my website so everyone can read and use it. Best wishes with pictures!!! Tatjana
