The Private Message system is a great tool.  I was surprised at how many people will respond to your private messages.  You can learn some great ideas from the members that have been here for a while.

Dude  your webpage TOTALLY  ROCKS!!  I  have been on here a week and checking everyone's pages out.  yours is  ABSOLUT ! (my spelling= my enthusiiasm  roll with it)   I  have put this page on favorites and will refer back often. Not about to steal anything  but just so you know  i changed your theme to springtime for you cuz the control panel was there. maybe you did not plan that  but I really like what you did  my site is not up yet  I have a vision in my mind that won't fit ito the site builder here so doing HTML  on my own. I  know- pul down the source view and copy from other folks. Well what I have in mind is so innovative that I have not found an example yet to copy the theme.
Tony

Thanks Tony,
Always good to hear positive feedback.  All the links are on there to help people promote GDI, feel free to use them as you please - I wouldn't consider that stealing Smiley
I did leave the control panel there on purpose so users would have the ability to change the look of the site.
As you can probably tell, I didn't use the sitebuilder to put this together. I'm looking to speed up the page load time because it is a little slow, so you may have to deal with waiting a few seconds between pages until I get this taken care of.  Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions or if I can help you out.
Thanks again,
Matt
4  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: How can I get DVD's in FRENCH please on: April 17, 2008, 01:49:31 PM
Hi

I need to buy DVD's and Business Cards in FRENCH, but I can't see the option to turn it into !

Will I get those in english or there is a French option to turn them into french ?

Third thing ; is there a staff program that work to get those in french, if not, could I do the job for GDI in order to get something good translated into french ?

Thank you for your patience.

H Michael,

Here is the link to order the DVD's in French:

http://www.dvd.ws/?language=french

and the online presentation (remember to put your username where "cre8tivemedia" is)

http://freedom.ws/?language=french&sponsor=cre8tivemedia&show_dvd=yes

There is also a wealth guide in French:

https://www.website.ws/home/wealthguide/french

Not sure about the business cards though.

Hope this helps Smiley

Does anyone know if we can advertise the DVD's on ebay and charge just enough to cover the cost of shippinp and pay for the ad.
I thought of this idea to generate leads but I don't know if its ok.

Roy

I'm pretty sure you could do that, but honestly... would you pay for an advertisement?

I don't know who I'm replying to as I couldn't find the reply button on the one I was looking at....but I looked at a site that was done and was wondering where you get the video from to put on the site.  I can't even find where mine is located to make one....but yours looked good...  Not sure I'll know how to do it...I ve got other websites that I do in front page but if this is different then I'm not sure I'll know what to do with it....shirley

Hi Shirley,

I'm assuming the video that you are asking about is for the GDI presentation, here is the link:

http://www.freedom.ws/show_dvd.dhtml?sponsor=Your-GDI-Username&language=english

Just remember to substitute your username Smiley
7  .WS Business / Marketing / Posting in Forums on: February 09, 2008, 05:31:08 PM
One of my new marketing methods consists of exactly what we are participating in right here.  Posting in forums.  There are great benefits to posting in forums. You can usually count on a quick response to any questions you may have about the specific product/business.  Most people on these forums are very nice people and enjoy helping others.  Take a look around, the majority of the people on here are excited about the business opportunity that GDI presents and by helping others in this medium they are also helping themselves.

Which brings me to the marketing part -

Most forums allow you to have a signature at the bottom of your post that can include website links.  For example if you take a look to your left underneath my picture (well that's not really me but you get the idea) you will see a little icon that looks like planet earth.  If you were to click on this you would go directly to my site.  This simple post about posting in forums has given me one more link to one of my websites - free advertising.  If the site that you are advertising has anything to do with the subject/forum that you are talking about then the hits you receive will be from people possibly interested in what you have to offer.

I can see the hits to my sites from various forums just from asking and answering questions.

Keep in mind that you need to keep your posts informative.  If you post constantly about nothing that has to do with the forum or subject, you will not get any quality traffic and in some cases you could get banned.  Nobody likes spamming in any context.  On the other hand, if you have a really informative post with good content, you will have people that reply to your post or just have comments about your idea bringing more exposure to your post - thus giving you more chances of someone clicking on your website to see what you're about.

Without my upline I wouldn't have been able to get as far as I have in GDI.  Although I have only been in touch with 1 of my sponsors, he has given me information that would have taken me a long time to figure out.  Now, whenever I have a question, I don't hesitate to ask him.  If you can find even 1 person in your upline that is willing to help you out, definately take advantage of it.  They can give you a whole new perspective on what you can do with this business.  You have 5 chances of getting someone to help you out and most likely you will get someone to lend a hand.  After all, they can't make money from you unless you make money too.
9  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Sign-Ups Through My Downline on: February 06, 2008, 03:26:25 AM
If I have a member in my downline who cancels their account and then gets a signup under them after they have cancelled, would that sign-up go to me?

Thanks,
Matt

I am a packaging engineer, basically I design protective packaging for a variety of products that need to be shipped anywhere.  I started with my online ventures about 2 years ago on eBay selling digital products and I caught the online marketing bug.  I found out about GDI about 6 months ago and realized that residual income is where it's at.  With my eBay stuff it was usually just a one or two time sale but with GDI the income is limitless.  Now I try to convert my eBay sales into GDI prospects.
11  .WS Services / Showcase Your Website / Website to help my Downline on: January 27, 2008, 10:07:30 AM
When I first joined GDI it was a while before I figured out how to promote it.  I decided that it should be easier for my downline to get some basic tools to market GDI online.  So that's why I set up this site:

http://www.cre8tivemedia.org/

It is still in it's infancy but I would love if people would give me feedback on it.

Thanks,
Cre8tiveMedia
