I am more successful with Personal contact.  Just give a video, AND business card.
Tell them you will pick up the video in three days.  Best to pick it up at their house,
if you can.  If so, you can take them to the computer, and sign them up.

If you have to pick it up elsewhere, then tell them you will call them.  Sign them up
from the call.

That's the EASY of this business.

Hello All,
I have been with GDI for 5 months now, But only recently realised the secret.....  Perseverance
 I joined GDI as I have always seen the potential since the moment I watched the movie. I gave it a shot for some weeks and gain 2 signups. Unfortunatly I stoped there as my downline would never reply!!
However I am back and on a mission of success !!!
5 days ago I started a new campaign, one that I will continue with for many years to come. I have bought in a bulkmailing system and am now sending out 2500 emails to opt-in leads per day !!  75000 per month !!!  My realistic aim here is to just turn 0.03% of those into signups ( about 23 per month) And then teach them the same....  23x23x23x23x23= !!!!!    Good luck me !!
GDI is it for me, That is my aim and I will not stop till I am some kind of monster hitter !!Good luck to all in this great venture, just stick with it.....

You hit the nail on the head.  Don't Stop!  It happens for those who finish the race.
We are getting a few sign ups all along, and we just keep going on.  The bottom line
is the GDI value.  If we never get another signup, we will stay the course, because of
the value.  When we pass out a business card with our OWN Domain name on it, and
watch the expressions on their face, it's worth it all.

Great Post.  You are correct.  Relationships are what build this business.  Marvin has the right idea.
When people sense that you care about THEM, and not SELLING them, then they will trust you
enough to come on board.  85% of our sign ups come from people that we know, and so it is
in the downline too.  Folks sign up folks that they know.  SO, Build a relationship.  People come
to our church because they know we love them.  Same with Business too.  Folks buy from folks
they trust.

How do i get started?  I have been doing this for a month now and I haven't gotten any support can I please get some help on what i should be doing

My wife, Regina, and I have been in GDI for over a year.  We made a change in how
we did things in June 2007, and started to dedicate ourselves to focusing on GDI.  Since
then we have started to grow, and get new sign ups.  We saw the "Power of ONE",
and have adapted that as our goal for each month.  To date we are ahead of schedule,
and looking forward to the future.

What to do, NOW?

1.  Download the https://www.website.ws/home/wealthguide from the Home Page,
or use the link above.  If you will DO those things THEY WILL WORK for you.

2.  Set aside 1-3 hours a day, or even more to WORK. This is a FUN Job, but a job,
soon to become your Dream Job!!

3.  Forums, are frustrating, when you get started, but they will provide you with useful
information.  Just dedicate about 30 mins a day, to view the forums, and stay with it.
In about 30 days you will have a handle on the forums, and in 90 days you will know
where to look for your best advise.

4.  Web Page.  Start your web page.  Do a quick ONE page web if it's nothing more than
just a little information about you, and GDI.  Just get a feel for it.  Get it Up and Running.
don't spend hours.  Just get a piece of paper, jot down some ideas, and then get to work.
We spent days working on ours, and it never went up.  then one day, we decided to just
get one up.  Whala!!  It's Up.  We put GDI on it, and a link to the video.  Put it on our business
card, and pass them out.  We have had sign ups from that!!  TOOK too long to do something
so simple!!

Info for your web.  Download the print out, or flyer on the home page, and pull some info to use
on your page.  Then get business cards, and pass them out.  Set a number.  Ours is 10 a day!

5.  Business cards. If you want, you can get the GDI cards.  We did.  People look at them. OR you
can go on line, and pick up some of your own making.  Pass out at least 10 a day plus!!

6.  DVD's to friends.  We boght 10.  You need to do 10 to get the weekly bonuses.
Pass them out, and pick them up three days later, and take people by the hand to their
computers, and sign them up! IF they haven't already signed up.  If they say NO, then
MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ONE!

7.  A heart for dedication. IT WILL WORK, if YOU work it.  Work it, Work it!

8.  Advertise on the net, on every FREE place you can find.  Put in some dedicated time
to doing this.  DO IT!!  Just DO IT!!  Any one, can get a sign up a month!!!! Do 30 mins
to an hour daily posting ads on the net.

9.  TEACH!  Teach your new sign up how to do what you learn in the Wealth Guide, and
what you are learning in this post.

10.  Flyers.  Post some flyers somewhere weekly.  Put out 5, or 10, Plus a week, or daily!!

11.  Friends.  Put them in the "invite system".  Call them on the phone, and let them know
to be expecting something via email from the invite system.

Ha!  Had enough yet?  There is still more, but that is enough for now.  Just get BUSY!  It
will pay in the long run.

I would like to here some ratios people are getting with the GDI signup portion of thier duplication system, I have signed over 30 people in ths past 2 weeks but none have converted completely so no GDI signups from this yet  Sad I have been told to be patient and let the autoresponder they have do its work, anyway I would like to hear some input please.

It's like a new baby, and waiting for it to walk.

You take it by the hand and help him/her stand.  You hold two hands, and start the walking
motion.

IE.  DVD, or Invite system, and they watch the movie.  THEN you call them.  Get them on their
computer, help them to understand that they haven't seen anything yet.  Walk them through
the sign up process, for their FREE 7 day trial.

Then get them a domain name with THEIR NAME in it.  JohnDoe.WS or just Doe.WS
Then walk them through the email box process.  IE  John@Doe.WS, or John@JohnDoe.WS

What did you just do?  You gave them a reason to STAY.  RETENTION!!  Important to build
residual income, for YOU and for THEM.  This is duplicable.

Now get them to their Website builder, and help them get ONE page up.  Nothing Fancy! Just
help them understand a bit how to do it. Once you help them get THEIR webpage up, you have
done it again!!  Duplicable.  It helps them to see the VALUE of what they have!  They stay!  People
are very reluctant about giving up THEIR stuff, be it web page or an old pare of jeans.  They get used
to them, they feel good.

Make YOU a good web page.  Simple one!  Not hard, to show your new sign up what they can have!
they will want it too.  Creates Retention.  Without Retention Your business, and anything associated to
it won't last.  Retention is KEY for all of us.

We have a great Value in GDI.  Let's learn how to use it.

Soon your new baby will be walking on his/her own, and helping others too.  That's how a crawl turns to
a walk, and then to a run!!  You just help them take the first few steps until they walk on their own.

Massive is the key.  Whatever you do, do it massively!  Pass Out business cards?  What is a massive amount?
Well we do 10 a day, and get hits AFTER A WHILE.  IF you keep passing them out, then SOMEDAY, someone
will go to your site, and SOMEONE will sign up.  Let me give you a hint here.

2,000 leads sent out a day.  These are two week old leads, so not the best, but leads.  4% will open the lead,
or about 80 people.  80 will Opt out most days.  Are they dead?  NO, now I can call them, if I have a number.
Some will keep opening, and NOT opt out.  They go into our auto responder, and we mail daily, or every two
days.

We have another lead system that is double opt in," right now", "today" kind of lead.  Much better.  When they
click, we are notified, and we call.  Sign ups happen.

We post to classified ads.  Spend much time, and are getting better.  TRUTH.  15 sign ups in last three months,
but we are getting MORE hits all the time, as we learn.

We too were very frustraited when we started.  Couldn't find the help we wanted on the forum, or at least we
thought so. SO we determined, that as we learned, we would help people.

Hi Im Christina, IM new but im just now trying to get an understanding of what to do, have been ill for awhile and not online very much since I have no family or friends to get the word out to about GDI I need to make money now before I can find a way to get leads no money no job help.  Hello eveyone all over the world, have a goodday and or  evening.

What to do?  Follow this if you like.
1.  Go to the invite system, and put in the names, email addresses of your friends.  IE folks who have emailed you.  You can do 100 a day.
              the system will do the rest.
2.  Download the Global Wealth Builder, and take a read.  You can find that on the Home page for GDI
3.  Get some business cards.  You can get them online for abut $20.00 if you can't afford the GDI cards.
        Pass, them out EVERYWHERE.  Do at least 10 or more a day.  Put them in bills you pay.
4.  pass out flyers where ever you can.
5.  INTERNET:  Post to "safe lists' about your business.  Do a search for safe lists.  There is a lot of work in all of this, but it will pay off
6.  DVD.  Get ONE, then TWO or for about $30 you can get 10.  That qualifies you for the weekly bonus.
       OH be sure you have your W2s signed and in.  YOU want to get some signups for the bonuses.  5 gets you $100, after they pay.
       Pass them out to folks.  Tell them you will pick them up in three days.  DO PICK THEM UP.  Keep them circulating, and you will
       get sign ups.
7.  Do all the FREE advertising you can on the net.  LOTS OF IT!!  Stay up late, and get up early.
8.  Put signs on your car.  I had a man walk up to me at the gas station yesterday when he saw my sign.  I gave him a business card.

Hope this gives you some ideas, there is tons more that you can do.

Stick with the ones that work!!  Great thought.

Run tests with mailers.  Track them, and see if you get ANY results.
when you do, then do as much as you can on that mailer.

Also test ads.  Ads that work, post EVERYWHERE!

Absolutely!  It's all about relationships, staying in touch with your down-line until they
understand it too.  Placing a couple of folks under folks to encourage them, and they
will get the idea to do the same thing too.  That builds RETENTION, and that is KEY
to building a residual income for life.

Helping them to understand that building a web site can make them $$.  That builds
retention also, and residual income.

We recruit in EVERY way we can.  Some of our methods listed below.

1.  Business Cards
2.  Car Signs
3.  Three Foot Rule.  When in a line, and you are within Three Feet of someone.
     Strike up a conversation, end up by giving a buiness card.
4.  We blast ads ALL OVER THE WORLD via the net.
5.   Invite system.  We get email addresses from folks we meet, then put them
      into the invite system.  We have found that we get 4 clicks per 100 invites,
      through buying leads that are 7-14 days old, but when we MEET someone
     and put into the invite system, we get upwards of 20% clicks.

Hello,

I need to know, when you print one of the Flyers, how are you to know, who recommended someone.  It ask for your user ID but the address they would go to is http://www.my.ws???  How would I get credited for it, if it isn't my web address???  Roll Eyes

Download the flyer to Word, and change the URL to reflect YOUR User Name, and then print it.

Maybe ads in papers is a bad idea. Heck I don't know. I'm new at this too! I just want to try anything and everything-especially things that won't cost a lot to do!! Grin

If everyone that was in this business would just support their downlines we would have less drop outs.

A KEY here, about drop outs, is that many of us don't help our people understand that $$ Value they have in
their OWN PERSONAL Web$ite.

We try to help folks understand that WHATEVER they do with GDI, they should still be working to set up
a profitable Web$ite.  One that works for them while they are asleep.  If you can get that understood, and
guide them in the right direction, they will soon start building a profitable site, and STAY on board!

When we got SERIOUS we started putting friends, in the invite system, bought 10 DVDs, and Business Cards
We also downloaded the Flyer to Word, made it personal, and posted them where we could.

On tip we use all the time.  3 Foot Rule.  If you get within three feet of us, we hand you a business card, and
say, Hello, I am Dick Lewis, this is my company, and we are looking for folks to help us working from their home.
Go to the website and watch a 7 min video.  It tells you all about it.

Some will ask, what is it?  I say, It's about handing out cards like this, people go to the website, and many join
up with us.  It's FREE for 7 days.  Go take a look.

OK, but What is it?

Well, I can't tell you in 30 mins what the movie will show you in 7 mins. Just take a look, We Did, and wow! What
a Difference it's made in our life.
