Any advice on this question would be fantastic, I just need to know whether I'm stepping over any boundaries  with my advertising idea??? thank you to anyone who might know!  Grin

Hello Stephen,

Unfortunately, it seems what you are trying to accomplish would not be in compliance with our company's policies. Each member is responsible for registering their own account, preferably from within their own computer. This is required for security purposes being that all members must be able to read and agree to our Terms of Service and Policies at time of registration. Registering accounts on behalf of others would be a direct violation of our policies. At the same time, being that certain personal and billing information is visible from within a member's account; we do not encourage members to share their account login information. It seems that due to the nature of your business, this would be something that you would require from them.

Hopefully you have found the information in this response helpful, if you still have questions about your inquiry or would like to discuss this matter in more detail we would suggest contacting our support department directly.

You may contact our Support Department by email at support@wsdomains.ws or you may call us at (1)760-602-3000 Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM Pacific Standard Time. Please listen to the entire list of telephone choices in order to ensure you reach the proper department.

NOTE: Our office hours are based on the Pacific Standard Time Zone. Please make sure when contacting our office that you please do so from a time in your local time zone that is within GDI’s hours of operation. Hello. I'm new hear and its great to be apart of the team. I have a question. On the members area, it seems there are some doc. you have to fill out and send via emai. Doc. such as a w8 and other stuff.

Is this information required? If it is, How do I know if my information will be safe? What happens if the docs. are not submitted?

I'm just a little unsure about sending information with my social security number on it so I want to be safe.

Hello Emanuel,

As stated in our FAQ's above:

5. As an Affiliate, do I need to send in any paperwork?

Yes. In order to participate in the WebSite.ws Affiliate program the following must be provided. This information, along with all other information you provide us, is kept strictly confidential. Commission checks cannot be sent, however, until it is received.

For US residents:

     * Read, sign and return the last pages the following documents:
Independent Affiliate Agreement Terms and Conditions
           Independent Affiliate Policies and Procedures

     * Government issued picture identification (driver's license or passport)

     * All forms stated above as well as a completed and signed Form W-9.

For Non-US residents:

     * Read, sign and return the last pages the following documents:
Independent Affiliate Agreement Terms and Conditions
           Independent Affiliate Policies and Procedures

     * Government issued picture identification (driver's license or passport)

     * All forms stated above as well as a completed and signed Form W-8.

PLEASE NOTE: Line 6 of the W-8 form indicates "if required". If you have a taxpayer ID (SSN or EIN), you should enter it in that box. If you do not have one, you should leave it blank.

All of the appropriate paperwork should then be sent via email, fax, or regular mail. It is not necessary to send the entire Independent Affiliate Agreement Terms and Conditions or the entire Independent Affiliate Policies and Procedures. We require only the last signed page for each of these.

Faxes can be sent to: 760-602-3099

124  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: I'm very new and I cant get my site to publish. on: June 02, 2010, 04:03:28 PM

I have a domain, aaadave.com. The GDI site says I still have to get a registrar and DNS switched. HOW DO I DO THAT?
David

Hello David,

From the sound of it, it appears that upon registration of your GDI account you selected the Bring Your Own Domain option (currently only available to new members only). This option allows you to use the services GDI has to offer with a domain which you already own through another registrar. In order for your domain to work properly with our system though, you will need to go to the registrar you have the domain registered with and set the NameServers for your domain to:

ns3.gdidns.com
ns4.gdidns.com

Once you have successfully done this, your domain will begin to display your GDI content.

If you do not remember who you registered your domain through, you may do a whois search at http://who.is in order to obtain your registrar's contact information.

125  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Bonuses on: June 02, 2010, 03:51:04 PM

If you become GDI premium do you have to fill out all the other requirements for the bonuses?

Hello Bryce,

Following is the list of requirements needed to be eligible to participate in the bonus contest:

Your account must be paid and in good standing. You must either be a current GDI Premium customer, or have purchased at least ten (10) DVDs through your GDI account. The GDI Premium or DVD purchase must have been made during the same week or prior to the week for which you wish to qualify.

Your referrals will be counted for one calendar week. A "week" is defined as 12:00am Monday through 11:59pm Sunday, Pacific Time.

The formula is simple: For every 5 new accounts signed up by an affiliate during the indicated date range, they receive $100. Only new signups that convert to paying customers on our first charge attempt on their 7th day when their free trial ends are counted towards bonuses.

Because of our free 7-day trial, there is a one week delay after the contest week ends before your number of confirmed referrals can be determined. Each person will only ever count once toward a weekly bonus and must be an active paid account in good standing at the time of bonus calculation.

You'll need a PayPal account to collect your prize money. Affiliates in good standing may earn unlimited weekly bonuses.

Having purchased the 10 DVD's OR upgraded to premium is just one of the requirements. The rest of the requirements will still need to be fulfilled.

Once the confirmed leaderboard has posted; if you have been determined to be a confirmed winner, you will then need to submit the following requirements in order to collect your bonus:

Testimonial - provide a short testimonial about GDI's opportunity and/or product to ws_testimonials@wsdomains.ws along with your permission to use it on our testimonials WebSite.

Promotional Tip - with your testimonial, include a promotional or sponsoring tip that will help other affiliates duplicate your success.

Photo of yourself in JPEG (.JPG) format - attach a photo of yourself to the email you send to ws_testimonials@wsdomains.ws.

The email address at your GDI domain to which you would like your winnings paid through PayPal - We will send your bonus money to a valid PayPal account using only an email address on the domain registered through GDI (This is for your protection and to verify that we are actually sending your money to you and not someone else). You can easily add this address to your PayPal account if you have not already.

Emails with attachments can be sent to: support@wsdomains.ws

126  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: Use Of The Invite System - My Own List on: June 02, 2010, 03:23:34 PM

Can I use my List I have build spam free for 3 years to send invitations on the system inside my account ?

Hello Henning,

GDI understands the importance of the role that leads lists play when someone is attempting to grow their business online. However, we are unable to condone the use of outside leads on our invite system as we can not guarantee their legitimacy. Any outside leads either purchased or collected by the user must be opt-in leads, for which you must have valid opt-in records for. Opt-in records must include, at a minimum, the first name, last name, ip address, mailing address, and email address of the prospect.

If you decide to use your own leads list on our invite system, then you will be doing so at your own risk. Please keep in mind that GDI has a ZERO tolerance spam policy and a SINGLE violation may result in suspension and/or termination of your account.

As stated in our FAQs section located in the home page of the forum:

4. What is the "Invite" section, and how do I use it?

The Invite section allows you to send customized emails to prospects, which must be people with whom you have had prior contact. You may access the invite section from within your account by clicking on the "Invite" button on the left menu.

IMPORTANT: You may use this invitation system to send emails ONLY to people who know of you personally (or to the opt-in leads of opportunity seekers you may acquire in the "Leads" area). "SPAM" emails are strictly forbidden and grounds for immediate termination.

127  Administration / Forum Rules, Forum Tutorials, and GDI FAQs / Re: GDI Premium FAQs on: June 01, 2010, 12:13:45 PM

Maybel someone else finds this annoying--the back office pop up for the new GDI Premium.  It's in your face soon as you try to login and you are not able to close it so must close and log back in.  Very tacky to block our access to our back office.

Hello SimsB,

While our "GDI Premium" promotional pop up does appear at the time of login, it does not prohibit member's from accessing their member's area. If you happen to encounter the promotional pop up at time of sign-in, all you must do in order to proceed to your member's area is click either the "Close" button on top right hand corner of the pop up or click the "Continue to My Account" button on bottom right hand corner.

Unfortunately domain names can not be changed or edited. You can however create a new domain name and then cancel the existing domain name you wish to remove.

To create a new domain, please follow the instructions provided below:

1) Login to your account at www.website.ws/members.
2) Click "Domains" tab on the left hand side.
3) Input Domain name you would like to use in the "Check domain availability" space and click "Search".
4) Follow prompts to register your new domain.

Please note a $10 monthly fee will be charged upon completion of registration. An annual maintenance fee may apply to any non (.WS) domain names.

Once registration is complete and you wish to cancel your previous domain, please contact our support department directly with the name of the domain you wish to cancel.

You may contact our Support Department by email at support@wsdomains.ws or you may call (1)760-602-3000 Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM Pacific Standard Time. Please listen to the entire list of telephone choices in order to ensure you reach the proper department.

129  .WS Services / WebSite Development / Re: PHP & MySQL? on: May 26, 2010, 04:36:12 PM

As I build websites for a living resell hosting too, I feel it would be brilliant if I could host my clients websites on GDI hosting using their own accounts, however most websites use some form of databases now and other scripts, so without the access to a hosting control panel (e.g. VDeck, CPanel & phpMyAdmin), it's very difficult to build a decent website without a lot of unnecessary time spent, and even so, the functionality is definitely limited.

I was wondering if the new Premium Hosting has these features implemented? If so I'll purchase it straight away! Otherwise I'm sure that the introduction of such options in future would be highly appreciated by many GDI members. Thanks so much for any information provided.  Smiley

My sincerest regards...
Stephen

Hello Stephen,

Our hosting package currently offers PHP support and has done so for some time. However, we have yet to implement many other more advanced hosting features. GDI Premium was launched with the current feature set, but please keep in mind that we do intend to continue adding value to it in the future with additional features.

As always, we appreciate our customer's input. Your comments and suggestion have been forwarded to our executive committee.

130  Administration / Forum Rules, Forum Tutorials, and GDI FAQs / GDI Premium FAQs on: May 26, 2010, 03:21:56 PM

Does the hosting in the Premium Package include:

PHP support
MySQL support
Other standard features found in cPanel of any other hosting?

Hello Alexei,

Our hosting package does support PHP. However, we currently do not support MySQL. We launched GDI premium with the current feature set, but intend to continue adding value to it in the future with additional features.
131  Administration / Forum Rules, Forum Tutorials, and GDI FAQs / GDI Premium FAQs on: May 25, 2010, 02:09:43 PM

1. Does the $40 include my regular monthly service and domain?

No.  The GDI Premium package is an additional purchase.

2. I do not see my 3 1-Month Gift Cards to send to a prospect?

With your GDI Premium upgrade you are able to send a 1-Month Gift Card every month you have the GDI Premium upgrade on your account. To send your gift card, simply go to the "GDI Premium" section of your account and click the "Send Gift Card" button. The "Send Gift Card" button is only visible in your account when you are eligible to send. For example, if you add GDI Premium, you can go back to the GDI Premium section and should see the gift card button. After sending your FREE 1-Month Gift Card, the button will not be visible until the next calendar month. These gift cards can not accrue or "rollover", so make sure you send yours every month.

3. I sent my 1-Month Gift Card for the month, how long does the prospect have to redeem it?

Since these gift cards are intended for hot prospects, they must be redeemed within 30 days of the day you send it.

4. Can I re-send my free gift card if the original recipient does not wish to use it?

Yes.  The free gift card given to premium members functions just like those purchased from within the member's area.

5. Can I move a member that was given to me via the Daily Lottery?

No, members assigned to you via the lottery cannot be moved using the "Move Downline" feature.  However, if you really wish to have a member moved, you can contact the Support Department and submit a trouble ticket to have the member moved.  Moves for these members will be done as a one-time courtesy; they may not be moved again.

6. How many signups would each lottery winner get?

That depends on how many sponsorless signups we get during the 24 hour time-frame.  We would take the total number of accounts and divide by three, and give them out in the order that we drew the names.

7. How can I tell if a member of my downline is a premium member?

On the far right side of your downline table, there is a column that indicates whether the member is basic or premium.

8. Does the DVD purchase still qualify for the Weekly Bonus?

Yes.

9. If I move a premium member using the "Move Downline" feature, will I still receive $14 in commission?

No.  If you choose to move a premium member to your second level, you would then be paid $4 in commission.

134  Administration / Forum Rules, Forum Tutorials, and GDI FAQs / Re: Meaning of "Upline" and "Downline" on: May 20, 2010, 10:27:31 AM

Hello Frances,

Your question has been moved to the FAQs section of the forum. The answer you seek is posted in the following message:

1. How can I see who signed up under me and how much commissions are owed to me?

You will have 24/7 access to REAL TIME REPORTING on all hits to your agent WebSite, all trials placed, and all active customers, as well as complete downline reporting, selectable by layer (1 through 5), and all current and past commissions due to you. You will also have contact information for your UPLINE SPONSORS, so you can email them and learn about their successes, as well as contact information for your DOWNLINE (network) members, so you may email them and tell them of your successful experiences.

2. What is an "Upline"?

Your upline is comprised of the people through which you were referred to our company. Your upline can be a valuable source of information for networking and brainstorming ways to increase your revenue.

3. What is a "Downline"?

Your downline is comprised of the people who were referred to our company through you. The people in your downline represent those for which you will earn commissions for purchases they make. Information in your downline is updated in real time so you always have the latest details available to you, 24/7.
