1  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Downline Questions on: April 21, 2007, 02:59:23 AM
From what I understand, you can move your downline anywhere in your group
within the 1st 7 days as long as she/he is personally sponsored by you.

Melissa

You can only place people within the 7 day trial period and you can only place them with someone on your first level.

I'm Elaine, and I'm sort of glad to have been introduced. However, it's taking me some time to grasp the IT in's and out's of this system. I'm on free status right now, so hope I can learn enough in 3 more days to make a sound deciision about sticking it out! Grin

You wont find a greater value for $10 in the home based arena!
3  .WS/GDI Discussion / General Comments / Re: Upliners - help on: March 23, 2007, 11:12:47 PM
I wish I knew what to tell you. I have been with GDI for 1 month now. I have sent several emails to my upline starting with my sponsor. I have gone all the way up the 4 levels. No one has replied to my emails. Upline support? I don't think so. Good Luck!

People - Stop complaining and focus on building your business. This is very simple!
(I mean this in the right way - please don't take it wrong.)

Start with yourself. Be the upline you wish you had if that is important to you!
Remember this when you sponsor people. Make a difference.

If its to be its up to me!  Right?  ----->  Absolutely!

4  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: The POWER OF ONE on: March 23, 2007, 11:01:11 PM
Hi GDI Colleagues,

Here's an article I like to share with my downline that really simplifies recruiting.
Some get too caught up in thinking about how many people they have to recruit
to make money with $1 a person. This they can relate to. I think it helps to put
things in perspective. I hope you enjoy it.

Sheryl

THE POWER OF ONE

Recruit One Person Per Month

You can be wildly successful by recruiting one person per month into your network organization! Your objective should be to recruit one new member per month. Just one! One that is also ready, willing and able to recruit just one new member each month. This is the power of one!!!

It is very simple, but very powerful. All you have to do is use your ability, attitude, and attendance to be successful. Your ability is whatever is comfortable and works for you. That could be face to face discussions, telephone calls, emails, or direct mail to potential members. Your attitude is all-powerful. It decides whether you will be successful. If your attitude is negative, give yourself a checkup from the neck up. If it isn't positive, you will fail. Don't even try network marketing. Sit back and watch the rest of us succeed. Your attendance is the final factor that will decide whether you succeed or fail. Put in whatever time and effort it takes to achieve your monthly objective of just one new member. Do enough of whatever it takes to succeed. Never give up or give in to failure. Operate by the motto,
"It will be, because it is up to me. I make it happen."
Empower yourself the right to succeed and it will happen.

This simple method creates a powerful doubling effect. If you could double your results every month, you could become very wealthy in two years or less. The people you recruit would also become very wealthy.

Pay attention and see how it works. You can do it. You start out by yourself. Then you recruit one person in each month. You share this idea of just recruiting one person per month with them. They see the power of it and they do the same thing....Recruit One Person Per Month.

Here's how it works: "The Awesome Power Of One"

                        You                  They

 Month              Recruit              Recruit              Total
1                      1                      0                      2
2                      1                      1                      4
3                      1                      3                      8
4                      1                      7                      16
5                      1                      15                    32
6                      1                      31                    64
7                      1                      63                    128
8                      1                      127                  256
9                      1                      255                  512
10                    1                      511                  1,024
11                    1                      1,023               2,048
12                    1                      2,047               4,096

DID YOU GET YOUR ONE NEW MEMBER THIS MONTH

If you didn't get your one this month... FIRE YOURSELF

But remember to REHIRE yourself - show up early and stay late!

5  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: EMAIL HELP on: March 22, 2007, 08:44:59 PM
three problems I have with ws email:

myspace doesn't identify it as an email address.  when I set up a myspace acct using .ws it takes them weeks (no exaggeration) to send a verification, if at all.  So i have to et up my myspace under a .com.

next - there seems to be no way to block addresses on email.ws

next - no spam filter

if I'm wrong - then help a gal out, please

1. Sounds like a myspace issue not a WS issue.

2. You can setup a local SPAM filter on your computer. (Outlook - Outlook express or any other email client you use)

Congratulations.

My name is Daniel Tetreault

First sign up within 24 hours!  That is pretty amazing. I have been doing this thing for 3 months and not one signup.  How did you do it?  What forums are you posting to? And what is your ad saying?

I really need some help.

I would love just a few sign ups to keep my hopes and spirits up!

Sincerely,

Daniel

Hi everyone, I'm new and just starting out in Hawaii.  I'm trying to get a flyer printed in total Japanese because we get hundreds and thousands of Japanese tourists visiting here every year.  I believe this would be a great opportunity to expand my business into another country.  I'm just not sure exactly how to go about having something translated and printed in another language yet. ?

Kevin

Start with your replicated sites and create a link to the Japanese version or recruit someone who can speak the language. Try a local college for international students.

9  .WS Business / Training / Re: Autoresponder Ad Copy Help! on: March 16, 2007, 08:43:17 AM
Hi all,

Just joined yesterday and I believe GDI is an awesome product and great business opportunity. I have little experience in marketing, but I have a pretty good lead source, (I think) and autoresponder to send initial and follow up emails. Statistics say that it takes up to 7 follow up emails to capture a sign up, or member in your downline. My problem is writing the right ad copy in the emails to pull in people into the program.

If anyone out there is using this type of marketing, and would like to share their ad copy writing techniques, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hoping you can help, and success to all!!

Lou

Keep your ad copy short and sweet. Don't worry about making the perfect series of letters. Start with how you would normally follow up with someone... then make your letters based on that. (Check your SENT mail for a start)

Cheers
10  .WS/GDI Discussion / General Comments / Re: Importance of sending welcome mail to your referrals on: March 15, 2007, 12:01:27 PM
Hello ,
I just signed up for free trial and I am new to computers as well as new to GDI. I am excited and dissapointed at the same time.
You are totally right about the follow up because I have heard from no one and I have sent out e mails requesting advise.

Do not be dependent on "upline" If you read all of your members area you will know everything about this program. Then take action. After all how did you join?
11  .WS/GDI Discussion / New Member? / Re: Planning on much success with this on: March 15, 2007, 12:00:57 PM
Just signed up about an hour ago and I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight... very excited at potential...  this is network marketing at it's best... or maybe the time was just right for me.  I've sat through hours of newtork maarketing presentations and always wanted to join, but never had time to work on it with integrity.

I joined this in under an hour of research - and if I would do that - I KNOW others will.

Jennifer

No magic here... It's a good program. Invite-Follow-up-Repeat. Keep it simple and take action.
12  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: If I Place A New Sign Up Under A Downline Member What Happens? on: March 15, 2007, 12:00:57 PM
if i wanna add some signups to help my downline myself then i would like to promote my downlines gdi link rather than mine

Thats fine but remember you will give up your BONUS money - Keep that in mind.
13  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: Lead Generation on: March 15, 2007, 12:00:57 PM
GDI, sees that most members are struggling to get leads, based on their member website links. Many are overwhelmed when they first come to my site. Most people wll not take the time to view a  7 minute movie, then it depends how slow their computer is for downloading. GDI has to much information. They need a simple 3 step capture page FREE to GDI members. Teams are having to create their own. They should not have too. This is my 3rd time back trying GDI. Hopefully this time it will payout! I too want to earn a residual income for only $10 a month.

GDI does have several simple lead capture sites that you can use. If someone will not spend 7 minutes getting the information they will not join. Some people choose to create their own capture sites for several reasons but it isn't required. 3rd time back?  Just think if you had never left and just kept talking to people - where would you be? Just food for thought.

Hi, All...
I have with GDI for about a Month now..
I sill haven't gotten any sign-ups.... I am not giving
But, I really need some advice on how to get sign-ups... Sad
I have emailed around 350 people and I saw that I had
3-Views... Then when I emailed them to say thanks for
viewing... One person blocked me from there emails..
I want to get started really bad, but when you can't
get anyone to sign up... I know I am really getting
frustrated... So, if anyone knows how to get sign ups.
I would really appreciate the advice..            Cry
               Thank-You all..

If all you are doing is email invitations... you have to send 1000's for anyone to join. Email marketing is not an exact science. Many mass emailers send numbers like 1-2 million in order to just get 50-200 responses, from that they may get 1-10 signups. I'm only sharing this with you to give you an idea about "the numbers" when it comes to emailing.

I suggest you actually talk to people in addition to your emailing efforts. Using the DVD locally is a smart idea as well.

How many people have you actually "talked to"?

I'd be willing to bet you will have better response when you start talking to people. Keep your head up and NEVER QUIT. Quitting is the only way to fail.

J Musick here.  My sponsor has left me in the middle of this venture, so I'm trying things rather blindly. If I'm doing something out of turn just let me know.  Really need help and advice because I have affiliates sign under me and having trouble finding the most expediateway to help them.

J

Don't worry about upline... It's NICE to have someone who is supportive but it's NOT necessary. The good news is that this business is very simple. If you read everything in your back office/members area you will pretty much know everything you need to know about GDI. Become the leader for your team and take action. As far as marketing...

Invite - Follow-up - Repeat.

You want people on your team who are INDEPENDENT. It's the same for anyone here... If they simply read all of the info in the back office and take action, they will know what the pros know. Good luck.
