Hi Chris-Not to be a pest but it has been over a month since the advent of the new website builder! Why is it not improved? It is really a faulty system that I'm surprised the management of GDI couldn't come up with a workable sitebuilder. Are the owners even aware of what has been sent our way? Is there an email address where I can contact them directly? It used to work fine before it was changed for the worse. Why?  - John (not a newbie)

Hi Chip-I don't want to be a pest however there are drastic problems with the new website buider. Is the management of global domain aware of this. No one seems to respond or make a statement concerning this! John

Chip- The new system has a whole lot of problems. Wish the programmers had worked the bugs out before releasing it. But worse than that, my meta tags don't show up in my source code now and security is gone. Already someone has added their copyrights to my work. Guess I don't have to go on. You can go to my site at http://johnsprague.ws and see for yourself. Hope the developers will straighten this mess out for me and I suspect for just about everyone else!   my email is johnsprague3@hotmail.com

Chip- Is the new sitebuilder complete yet? It is not user friendly and the security is poor. Someone has already altered my site since this new upgrade. Not happy with this - John.

Hi All-Here is my website http://johnsprague.ws  or http://www.marketingkindreds.com   Cool I've had my site for a while but am working as a contractor in Iraq so I don't get to promote or have much time at present to build a downline. Maybe at a later time, I will get more involved. Best of luck to all of you who are trying to build a business or create an impressive downline in GDI. If I can be of any assistance to any newbies, let me know. God Bless You- John.
6  .WS Business / Marketing / What Is Your Multi Level Marketing Success Rate? on: March 06, 2007, 03:29:47 AM
Now that you have your GDI Domain and Website, it is time to set it up to make you money. Yes, promote your website sales and add some other products gradually to take full advantage of this professionally looking website. Use all ten pages of your site to your full advantage. Try to add products that compliment your GDI opportunity.

Depending on the goal you set for yourself, one person’s rate could be quite different from the next person. See, you need a goal first in order to make that assessment. Without a goal, you’ll never ever reach your desired success rate. Decide where you want your business to be in one year from now. You may even be able to have a five year plan. Of course, this means you can’t quit.

To be successful in whatever you do in life requires some kind of goal and the determination and focus to reach your preferred end result. This goal is necessary or you won’t be successful in anything you do. It isn’t just MLM that I’m talking about here. The sky is the limit as to what this could entail. Everything from diets to marriages and beyond is among the possibilities here. So if you haven’t set your long or short term goals, you need to lock them in right now.

Now that we have that out of the way, how long are you going to go with the same marketing approach before you see positive results? Does it seem like a reasonable amount of time or are you doing something wrong?

Are you using the right keywords and do you have a good lead base in which to advertise your product? Most marketers will tell you that your money is in your list. They are mostly right but you need a certain kind of list. If you have one hundred targeted opt-in leads, this list could be even more valuable than thousands of untargeted people on whatever type of list you have.

Is your product something that you would want at a price you would be willing to pay? You always need to put yourself in the other person’s shoes. When I had my own bricks and mortar business, I was told, more than once, to take some time off and look at your business from a distance and see the way it is perceived by others. You need to be objective and see how other potential customers view your website promotions and product.

There are some great products out there and there others less than stellar. If you add products, make sure they compliment your other products and the same targeted list will work for you. If you are doing everything right, have a plan in place and the willingness to see it through, it is just a matter of time before you have your positive success rate that you can be proud of.

8  .WS/GDI Discussion / New Member? / Re: Suggestion for New Members... on: January 31, 2007, 03:18:15 AM
Hi All new members and those not so new! I've been in GDI for over three months and will be here for the long haul. I just wrote this article and I hope it  is helpful to you. It is pertinent to what you are now in and may be of some help as you get started. Here it is:                              You Can Extract Success from your MLM Online Pursuit

Determination and drive are necessary for you to find success. You’ll need to organize your thoughts and ideas and set your goals before you can begin in earnest. Remember, you’ll also want to utilize your special traits and characteristics as you set up the website that you will require, in order to portray your special story and angle that only you can create. Everyone has their own set of unique abilities. Decide what your God given knowledge specialties are. Once you’ve combined your goals with the abilities you possess, you’re ready to begin the adventure.

You will need your own Domain identity, a Professional looking Website of several pages and Hosting on the main street of the Web. Sure, there are free sites but that would only put you on a back street. You’ll need to spend at least ten dollars per month to get started. There is no way to get around it. It takes money to make money. It has always been that way through history. The computer age has actually made it easier to get started in business.  Once you have set up your nice Website with your unrivaled content, you’ll need targeted traffic.

Does it all sound easy so far? If you’ve set your goals and identified your specialties, you are going to accomplish what you set out to do. You won’t get rich overnight. It doesn’t happen that way. You are going to have to be patient and not quit. Plan to stay for the long haul. It is not hard work but will require some serious effort. You’ll want to have some mentoring along the way and not jump in to every opportunity that will be presented to you. Some will be less than stellar and you will need to do some research so as not to be pulled into something that will not benefit you. That’s why mentoring is important and studying the wide selection of free ebooks and ezines that are available online. Harness yourself with knowledge as you make your way on the online marketplace.

Make sure your product or products are targeted properly. You don’t want to sell furniture to the stationary market. You can buy leads but it is best to create your own customers that are interested in your specific product. The way you will do this is by setting up an auto responder on your website. It is not really that big a job to set one up. What ever you do, start out with the free version. Until you get your business running the way you want, you need to keep your expenses in check. I’m convinced that you can operate at least initially on less than twenty dollars per month. When a year has gone by and the business is starting to bring in some income, it is ok to upgrade. The fellow marketers are going to try to get you to spend money constantly online. Stay in your budget and be careful as you built up your domain of significance.

John Sprague is presently working in Northern Iraq and will return to his home in Bellingham, MA later in the springtime. He enjoys computer work and writing in his free time. John’s own uniqueness comes from his perspective as a Vietnam Era Veteran who has spent over three years in the Mideast. He has been around computers since 1968 and has a website. He welcomes you to email him. GDI is a good product but you'll need to make some effort to make it work. I may not be your sponsor but feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance. Good Luck! John.

Hello All! I've been in GDI for close to three months so I don't know if you could call me a newbie or not. I've been doing a lot of research and also promoting my new website. What has become clearer and clearer to me is that everyone should be taking full advantage of their website. I am using all ten pages allowed with my membership and I believe it is a must. Also, as you get people on your downline, they need to get a lot of attention from their upline. I know I haven't done as good a job as I should have as I've lost a few early signups of my own. I know I will be better from now on. This is very very important. If you can't teach them to duplicate you, you'll both miss out. One thing that needs to be done is provide more potential downline with the use of the Dvds. This is a very good aid that we all should use more. Please visit my website if you'd like. It is http://johnsprague.ws. If anyone needs my help to get started in this business, just ask. Best to luck to you all out there in GDI land. John

Hi Ladies and Gentlemen! I've further enhanced my website thanks to some of your helpful advice. My site is a little different since I built it while still in Iraq. I wanted to get a headstart for when I return to the states in early spring. My ten pages have a lot of pictures from my time in Kuwait and Iraq.I also have business pages and geneology pages. I'm trying to connect my pages by linking and inviting friends and aquaintances. The sitebuilder is very easy to work with. I like how it is shaping up. All good things take time and that includes building a business base. I'm here for the long term and I hope you are too. John

Hello fellow GDI members! I've been in the program for about a month. So far I've noticed that a lot of people will look to see but that will be it. Others are interested but have no credit card. I'm probably lucky to have signed 3 people in a short time. I am really pleased with how my website turned out. Looking forward to this as a longterm commitment. Nice to meet you all. Good luck with your website sales! John
