3  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / E-mail problem on: March 25, 2008, 04:27:09 PM
I use Comcast as my server and they just changed the port number used because of spam.  Now I can receive all of my emails coming in but it will not let me send anything with a WS address. I contacted Comcast and they said that they do not recognize ws so I would have to contact my server. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you deal with it. Huh
Thanks
Raymond

 Hi Everyone,

I have to agree with Norma, I think that you should work at what ever works best for you, but also don't forget the other side. I think that one will compliment the other if you work it right. Do what you are confortable with and if you find it is not doing what you want then it is time to try a different way. Trial and error is where we learn and if you don't learn from your mistakes then you are in trouble.

Hi THonsey,

Your site looks real gool and the banner came up for me.

The only thing I would question on your contact, why don't you use a WS address? If I were looking at an advertisement for buying a web site I mignt wonder why the person selling this is not using his own product. That is just my own opinion.

Best of Luck,

Hi Chrystal,

I took it apart and put it back togather again three or four times and could not get the spacing or the click here link in place where I wanted it. After some deep thought I went back to Word and typed it all in HTML form, cut it and pasted it in the htlm space and entered it all at one time. If you do it in paragraphs then it gives you those double and triple spacing. I don't know if this was the right way, but it worked for me.

Have a Wonderful Day,
Raymond

I hear people talking about GDI Flyers, but I can not find them. Can someone direct me to where I can find them?
Thank You
