One of the best ways to convince people this is a legitimate business opportunity is by being consistant. This is accomplished by keeping our name and marketing tools in front of the public on a continous basis.  Once they realize we aren't going away like all the other fly by night businesses many will start paying more attention to our ads, flyers and business cards.

I love your ideas, Maurine!! Keep sharing them!! I agree that we can all find areas of our own interests to help market to others who share in the same things. Sports, hobbies, crafts and etc. are just some of the ideas that come to my mind. Thank you for getting me thinking in new areas.

6  .WS/GDI Discussion / General Comments / Re: Working Hard and Not Getting Anywhere on: October 03, 2005, 11:24:33 AM
I find it most important to keep a positive attitude while building a business as well as working a JOB or anything else. There are always two ways to view anything.  One is POSITIVE and the other is NEGATIVE.

For instance, if I send out 50,000 leads and receive no sign ups then I can go the negative way and feel frustrated and start to doubt that this is a good business to market. I can tell myself this was a waste of time and money for nothing.  Woe to me!!

Or, I can go the positive way!  I can say to myself I have sent out 50,000 leads so I now have done something to get the word out about my business.  Yet, I realize I can't stop here, I have to continue. Afterall, what is 50,000 leads in a large world? Not even the size of a rain drop in an ocean, right? However, the ball is now rolling and it is up to me to keep it rolling. I can't allow myself the time to look back because the ball is going forward not backwards.  I feel proud that I have done something to at least start out with.  Hurray for me!!

Now, with my positive attitute I keep the energy alive and this helps to open my mind to creative ways to market my business even further.  To prove this fact, check out all my ideas in the marketing section.  I wouldn't have come up with any of those ideas if I hadn't maintained a positive attitude.

Wishing you much success!!

Kim, you certainly have the positive attitude that is the basis for success.  Whenever you want something so bad you can taste it then you will find ways to make it work regardless of the time and effort it takes to realize your goal.  Your determination and desire is an inspiration to all.  I believe in you so keep believing in yourself and one day we will see you at the top!!

Kaci, you did a superb job on your site. I congratulate you.  Two thumbs up!! It is amazing to see all the great websites that members have built their very first time. The new site builder has proven to be a wonderful benefit to the business package.  And to top it off, everyone explains how much fun it is as well.

Norman, you will find hundreds of tips, suggestions, and marketing aids already posted throughout the forum.  I encourage you to check out the Training and Marketing posts for inexpensive ideas to market your business.  Everyone who makes it to the top has done so by working hard to get the word out to as many people as possible. This is achieved in many ways according to the preference of each member.  Just remember that what works well for some may not work as well for others. The best advice I can give you is to try different marketing strategies and allow time to find out for yourself which ones work best for you.

Wishing you much success!

Tatjana, thank you so much for once again stepping up to the plate to assist me.  I have so many unique (at least to me) ideas just sailing around in my mind that I want to put on my website.  This is also one reason I have not tried to build my website yet. I am still collecting knowledge and skills to make it really my own. Also, I am now learning HTML codes which I find very exciting and not at all over my head like I once assumed.

I do understand that with the sitebuilder I don't really need to know the HTML codes but I have been so inspired by viewing other members websites that I just had to get some of that knowlege for myself.  Who knows, I may even go back to college for computer programming one day.  And, all this inspiration has come from all the members of this forum.

I just have to say here how special each of you are!!

All my best,

I would love to have a logo with the world globe and the words GDI .WS going around it. Can anyone out there make one to share with us here?  It would be great if the words would actually move around the globe. I would love to put that on my website that I am trying to build.

Wishing you much success!

Teresea, you can click on documents in your back office and look for the wording which I have copied and pasted below:

For US residents, you must completely fill out and either fax or mail to us IRS Form W-9. This form can be downloaded from here in PDF format, or you can pick up a copy at your local IRS office. All you have to do is click on the here button or if you can download the PDF file. Then, print it off and fill out your info and mail it to the company.  This has to be done before you can get paid once you have $25.00 accrued in your account from your active members.

There is no way your prospects are going to your upline members. Anyone that clicks on your site, views your movie or whatever will not see anyone's contact info but YOURS.  Go to your own site and click on the sign up button and you will xee your name there, no one else's.

I don't have a clue how many times you have placed flyers and cards, but this is something that has to continue to become successful. It takes the average person up to 7 times or more seeing the same ad before they will even pay attention.  I could pass out 5,000 flyers today for instance but if that is all I ever do and just sit and wait for some one to sign up then I can't expect my business to grow at all.  I have to keep leaving flyers, cards and etc. over and over again inorder for people to realize I am not going away like many fly by night scams out there. It takes time to build trust.

Just keep on getting the word out and one day when you least expect it someone will sign up or contact you for more information.

Wishing you much success!

Tim, check the information that is on your .ws website. It tells about the company and gives all the information plus testimonials. I don't know what else you are requesting.

All my best,
