My name is Sidney Allinson, and I live in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I am a professional writer by trade -- author of six published books (three of them novels) plus countless magazine articles -- and freelance copywriter of more advertisements and TV commercials than I care to admit.

During the past few years, I have become more and more involved with writing for the WWW. I also have a couple of my own websites and a blog. Now I am particularly interested in the potential provided by GDI. I see the possibility of building a very lucrative income with it. However, I also see that building a numerous downline will not be easy.
As I am a beginner here, most of you know far more, so it may seem obvious of me to say that GDI is not an easy matter of just sending info about it to all our personal friends, then sittting back to watch the money roll in.
I would say this enterprise requires Promotion with a captal P. Fortunately for us all, the Internet provides a marvellous publicity medium. (Within the boundaries of Nettiquette and avoidance of spam, of course.) And that is where the challenge lies. Learning the techniques how to effectively publicize the opportunity and recruit a downline.
Aside from that, though, membership in GDI is a genuine bargain anyway, in that it provides each member with a domain name registration, web site design, and hosting. Pretty good deal for $10 a month!
And that's quite enough yak from a new boy. Now, I'll quietly try to learn from the rest of you people with more experience of how to know how to recruit and build a downline.
Best wishes to all members.
-- Sidney.
