1  .WS Services / Showcase Your Website / Re: Share Your Website - Part 3 on: November 10, 2005, 01:34:50 PM
Just sharing my websites for people.  I have a few of them!  Maybe you could get some ideas on what to do with your hosting space while you're learning the in-and-outs of how you'll work your GDI business.  It IS what you're paying for ultimately.  We just HAPPEN to make a growing residual income on the side in addition with GDI!  BeaUTIFUL!!!

Here are my sites:

www.MichaelGeter.ws (my personal website coming soon)
www.MyReunion.ws (a local residential business ad site a friend and I are getting up and running)
www.QuitIn2Years.ws (my original site through which I started GDI with explaining the opportunity with the new DVD preview.)
www.KeishAndShawn.ws (actually a friend of mines website)
www.VisitMonna.ws (my moms website coming soon to advertise her CA and AZ properties)

All of these .WS and I love working on them all and helping others do the same.  Just got back from some time away from town and the business so ... gotta go contact the others.  Be a GOOD, responsive Sponsor to those you introduce to GDI!  That's my tip to you all.

Bye now.

Yeah Troy,

I've purchased some of the leads as well from the back office but, ironically enough, I GET the sign-ups when I go the direct mail route with them.  Their put into the email system by GDI but I get very little "open" rates.  Being that we also get the snail-mail address though, I'll just drop a personalized (MS Word Mail Merge) letter to the list and that turns over about 2-4% when I do that.

Hope that helps.

3  .WS Services / Showcase Your Website / Sharing my website! Oh YEAH!! on: October 29, 2005, 07:00:22 PM
A friend of mine and I decided to do something community related with this GDI opportunity.  We created http://www.MyReunion.ws - a website for our local Colorado community to advertise their personal businesses or services.  After attending the recreation center for our home area we noticed that all sorts of people were doing all sorts of businesses.  Everything from walking dogs, teaching music, construction, painting, and much much more but they were all tacked to this cork board in such disaray you'd find yourself twisting and lifting and peeking under larger flyers to get a look at the smaller ones so hence - www.MyReunion.ws !!!  Reunion by the way is a great community in Commerce City, CO that has brought all of the aminities anybody could ever ask for in one place  -  golf, running tracks, pools, weight gym, basket-ball, I mean it's all here.  Keeping in-line with this layout my friend and I decided to make an "everything right HERE" type of website for our neighbors and community.

We're very proud of it!  By the way it was made with a simple "WYSIWYG" (What You See Is What You Get) program that cost us about $40 bucks.  Site Builder 3.0 is GREAT too, however, this was also a lesson for the two of us in HTML since we were able to view the code after we were finished with the site to see which code does what, (in case anyone was curious about learning a little about HTML)

Thanks for reading my post.  Hope it contributes to the idea-pool as one MORE useful way to use your GDI opportunity to expose people to it's AWESOME-ness!!!

4  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: DVD Full Preview... on: October 26, 2005, 09:45:01 PM
I agree with Tatjana's post.  Why is everybody in a rush?  The wait for your success in GDI is going to be MUCH longer than 45-50 minutes.  If you have a serious prospect who isn't thinking "get-rich-quick" they'll sit there and watch it.  And once they do they'll probably never make it through it ANYWAY because they'll be 'itching' to sign up under you.

Instant gratification... it's all the world is looking for now'a'days and that's the wrong way to go about introducing this business to people I think.  If your boss, who's been in the business for years told you to prepare a 45 minute presentation to entice buyers with your company would you tell him (who's been successful in it and knows what it takes) "awww, come on boss, how 'bout I just make a 15 minute one.  They'll get it!??" Undecided  I don't think so.  He'd look at you like you were out your mind.

Let the founders and the GDI staff do their thing.  I personally think it's a great presentation/DVD and am looking forward to getting my copies to show ALL 45-50 minutes of everytime to my prospects.

Thank You GDI

I just don't agree with the people that are saying that the GDI DVD is too long.  Anybody serious about making a substantial income with an opportunity like GDI should be ready to watch a FOUR hour video if they have to.  On the other hand I just believe that it's much more informative, and conveys a great sense of emotion across all boards.  I was excited during the parts meant to be exciting, I was apathetic during the moments in the film that it was called for as well.  The music is great.  The examples are great.  And I believe that this is going to make all of your downlines EXPLODE.  Give it a chance.  What company have YOU worked beside with.  And I don't mean worked for but BESIDE.  There's a difference.  It seems to me that the GDI staffs and teams vision is much bigger than some of your eyes can or choose to see.

EVERY FAMILY, SMALL BUSINESS, EVERYBODY will have a website!!  They've just put money back into your pockets when you think about it.  You just wait when you start showing that DVD!

Thank You GDI Team, Mike and Alan.  You guys truly are visionaries.  Thank You.

Most Sincerely,

6  .WS Business / Team Building / Re: Targeting YOUR GDI Sign-Ups on: October 24, 2005, 03:14:05 PM
Hi, Myke Geter from Commerce City, CO!
I target the entire world.  This is a global opportunity and you never know who's going to be the next person who could really benefit from a great opportunity to build financial freedom- risk free.
I use my car ad on my hatch-back window and passenger side door.  I use a business card leading people to my site with information on earning and no extra programs.  I don't believe that you really need a bunch of extra side programs to promote this.  It's as easy as GDI has made it for us.  Just show people the movie.  I use a stamp that I put on every piece of my outgoing mail leading people to my site as well.

Hope some of this helps.

Most Sincerely,
Myke Geter

From the paypal letters and on up, I started out in network marketing probably like the rest of you - looking for the pot of gold that was going to set it all straight.  I haven't lost as much money as some while searching but that's only because I was lucky enough to come upon the GDI opportunity just prior to its being a year old.  I instantly wanted to join GDI because not only had I wanted a webesite of my own for sometime, but also - I knew that OTHER people probably felt the same way that I did and the cost was just NOT TO BE BEAT!!!
GDI is offering everything they do at the price of 2 or 3 Meal Deals at your favorite fast food joint but offering a WHOLE lot more back in return.  The opportunity to leverage your time and efforts and get paid what you're really worth!  What WE'RE really worth!
That's why I joined GDI and will stick it out for the long haul.

Everybody,

I've also lost a person or two but in case you're not getting it here...  It's all about the relationship factor.  How well do you connect with your downline at the time of INCEPTION to the GDI opportunity!  First impressions and all that. Wink
So make your CAMPAIGNING the first part of your relationship building.  Put some character in your campaigning whether it's
on-or-offline!  Show some personality.  Don't just throw cards and flyers out there (although that can work every now and again) see what works best for you.  It's going to take time and some trial and error.  Everybody's campaign will be different.  I definitely agree that the FIRST thing you need to do with potential signees is to see what their goals are.  They won't succeed unless they have that "WHY" in their mind at ALL times guiding them forward like the carrot to the rabbit.

Its true!  Just like Jayne said.  We ARE a lively group.  That's what's going to really promote GDI in the end you know?  You can't be all hum-buig about an opportunity that's supposed to be about "living happiliy ever after" basically.  Nobody will buy into it.  I think that's one of the high key factors in promoting this.  I've personally had one person (not joined yet but I'm working on him) tell me that everytime he HEARS me talking to another one of our co-workers about it his skepticism wains for a moment.  He used to not have a computer and then all of the sudden he's asked his mother for her old one and is planning on getting the internet.  I KNOW it won't be long!  I'm confident in that.  But thats the key.  Persistance and your jovialness regarging the opportunity.  But mostly persistance.  They're going to laugh at you, say you're crazy for joining a "pyramid scheme/scam" (yeah like the BBB supports scams... um how about NO!) lol
You just keep on going.  They'll see.  And when your business begins to flourish, you'll have some of those people ANYWAY only they'll have to start from the beginning when they could've gotten in with you in the start and made it.  Patience.

Thanks for comment Jayne.
