Hi, Wow it's a while since I last visited the forum and it's as busy as ever. I have been busy with my main business but have found a few times of peace to build my .ws website. I used the domain name and hosted via a local server seing as I won £100 worth of hosting in a prize draw. Silly to waste it! www.blue-swan.wsPoetry and short stories. Hope you too can find a quiet moment to enjoy some of the content here Best Wishes Kay

Hi everyone,
I joined in July, and promptly forgot all about it, which is crazy I know. I hope to do a bit better now as it looks a fantastic chance.
I come from a small town called Barnehurst in Kent.
I can see there is a lot of reading to do, this forum looks brilliant.
It wasn't neccessary to register anywhere for this forum was it, I didn't notice anything.
Success to everyone.
Alex Hoskins
Hi Alex, I knew an Alex Hoskins when I lived in Gillingham around 30yrs ago, any connection? Either way, welcome to GDI and to all other Newbies too :-)

Hi,
Melanie, that site it FANTASTIC! If that's your first attempt, I will be back for advice once you become an expert :-D
Paul, You have done a great job too, but on my smaller screen resolution I need to scroll from left to right to read the lines to the end. The layout is great otherwise!
It's very difficult to learn this art straight off - and it is an art if it's to pull in the customers, but keep learning, keep working and you will start earning :-)
Here's to success Kay

Hi, A really common question, but it keeps getting lost way down there in the forum. I remember asking myself as there is just too much here to keep browsing through. Error 122 means there is too much information in the HTML block. Just 'Add content' & 'Add HTML' whilst in page view. This will add a second block where you can continue. Not knowing your talent If you are familiar with Frontpage or any other web builder of your own choice, you can change the options to the third one down 'build with your own web builder' or something like that, and can upload files with FTP Hope this helps, Kay

Hi Douglass and very welcome,
When you are on the WEb build page, you need to scroll to the bottom of the frame. There is a tag that says HTML. Click on this, paste your code there and then return to the build/preview tag.
Message in general to anyone with difficulties..... I have also found that if you can't access some of the buttons on the toolbar, check for a pop up blocker. You well need to allow access to GDI web builder when changing colours, hyperlinks etc as the colour charts and forms are for some reason classed as Pop-ups.
I hope you find this helpful, Kay Where my real photo is!

Hi Norma, Long time no see Good to see a familiar face. I have been really busy but haven't forgotten you all. Glad to see everyone still helping each other. I have passed on some suggestion to support today and they are being passed on to the committee, so wait and see what happens I hope it will help members and staff if it works. I have at last completed building my site to a level I feel worthy of spending money on promoting. I have used Microsoft front page and uploaded the files by FTP. I got some advice from a web technician I have made friends with in another forum and he it made it so easy with the set up instructions he typed for me. If anyone wants to build their site this way and has any queries, email me and I will help if I can. There is also lots of other help available on my site, plus my contact details. Best of luck and success to you all, Kay

Hi again, Thankyou RodB and Tatjana That was a silly mistake of me. Trouble was every time I viewed it on my comp. the picture was there. I have now uploaded it into the gallery then deleted and reinserted it from there. If it still doesn't show then you're probably lucky! If it does show then I'm lucky Thanks again my friends.

Hi GDI comrades I love that video Tatjana! It reminds me of the Wurlitzer organ with that music. There are only two of them in the UK and one is about 10 miles from here. I have been a very busy bee with my website lately and have added lots of free web-marketing tools + lots of other exciting things too. I have now changed to www.cash-uk.ws The one stop money jungle! I would love to hear your views I wish everyone success Kay

HI,
I'm Kay and I'm from Norfolk UK. I am really excited about GDI and have doubled my monthly expenses in the first week. I received some business cards today (some I had printed in UK) and went to town with a big smile and handed some out.
I'm also trying to build my Husband a Driving Instructor Website and I'm finding the builder realy easy after building other sites from scratch. Also GDI is so cheap. I paid over £500 for an independent site with all the ranking etc, and got no business back. It went bust last month but I don't give up. Fate soon pointed me here and I'm here to stay!
Also Hi to Paul Watts, you are in my upline.

Thankyou... I can see the sense in what you are saying and had already looked through the forums. I just tried a search for my specific problem and it only came back with my own posting to which no one has replied. I am realy looking forward to getting this all working but until Web buildre can let me log in i'm stuck!
