Hi everyone, 

One important lesson I have learned to help keep my frame of mind positive and flowing towards success is that not everyone we contact or who requests additional info from us about this awesome opportunity is going to be right for our own team. Some may disagree and think that doesn't make sense b/c this is a numbers business and the more numbers the better but would you rather have 1 good person who builds and helps you climb too or 10 who pull on your line trying to bring you down until they finally fall off? We can be and should be selective to find those who are willing to learn, be open-minded, and will treat this business like a billion dollar industry, which it is.
Even though we are in a recruiting business- I dont adopt the attitude I have to recruit just anyone- I look at as if I am an HR Asst looking for the best person for the job, for my team. If they are willing to learn then I will be help them with whatever resources I can provide.

I heard a story today in my training with my group which was a short story of a woman who had signed up 15 people. 4 people dropped and the woman became depressed and quit. 1 yr later, this year to be exact, had she stayed w/GDI her downline had grown tremendously into 6,000! Morale of story "When we get discouraged (and we all do) don't quit!" Take a break for a little while if need be, like you did, then get at building the dream you started. Never give up on your dreams!

In fact in my training group we are reminded of how many times Edison failed before the successful lightbulb was built. Hundreds of faiilures, but he kept going. If you research it there are many examples throughout history and even recent ones.

Also, it is unfortunate that some uplines are not as helpful as others but I want to let you know there are those who take to heart the GDI motto "If you help others get what they want then you can get what you want".  I have a wonderful team who is doing just that and I am on my way.

I have not built my site yet and wanted to get some ideas first before taking the plunge. I've seen some suggestions about choosing the  hosting option so we can have more control & options available. Does this mean that GDI will still perform the web hosting as they do in the other option but would allow me to make changes as needed? Also, if you have any website links for me to check out for more pre-build ideas, that would much appreciated! Thanks in advance for any reply.

I signed up 1 wk ago from the Sunshine state, Florida. It's awesome, the resources available to us for free here in the forum, team members, or trainers. I love their philosophy which is being applied to this business that "If you help others get what they want, then you will get what you want." It's a win-win situation!
