Hi, I'm Melissa Zimmerman. I'm new to GDI and very excited to be a part of this company!  Just wanted to make a suggestion that I haven't found here yet.  I've been using permission emails to get the word out, and you get a pretty good response.  The only drawback is that it's rather time consuming.  If you can afford a lead package, by all means, go that route, hehe.  But if you're like me, just starting out, permission emails is a great way to build a personal list.  So....what is a permission email?  It's very simple really.  First, do a google search for "free online classifieds".  You're not going to be posting an ad, you're going to be responding to the ads!  Most are set up where you don't get the advertiser's email address, but you enter a message, and the classified system sends the person your email.  Mine usually look something like this:

Melissa Zimmerman

Hello.  I'm writing to you because I would like to share a very lucrative business opportunity.  The company is strong, the product is GREAT, and you can try the whole thing for free to see for youself!  I would love the chance to work with you!  Please respond either way you decide.  Thanks, and have a great day!!

That's it.  I even just copy the blurb and paste it into each ad response I send out.  There are literally hundreds of thousands of "home business" ads posted on the online classifieds.  Usually, people go there to promote whatever they are affiliated with, not to look for something else.  This way, you're sending them a message, and you're getting the response of whether or not they are interested in seeing what you have to offer.  This is great because you then enter the names and addresses of people that want more info into the GDI autoresponder.  Now you're done until you get signups!  Well, keep doing the permission emails, of course, but you really shouldn't need to contact the same people, other than answer questions and let them know again that you're excited about the business AND that you're looking foreward to working with them.  Good luck all!
