1  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: Different Mailers - Scam Or Not? on: October 06, 2007, 05:40:20 PM
In reference to your comments on different mailers, try to remember that these are bulk mailers. Regardless of what your subject line is, or the content of your email, it will 99% of the time go directly to an email clients junk mail folder due to it's status as "BULK MAIL". Unless the addressee reads thier bulk mail, it will never be read.

I also use some of the bulk mail services but do not concentrate on it due to the extremely low rate of positive results.

As for the question you pose in your subject line, "Scam or Not?", the jury is still out on that one. There are some outfits that actually send all the mail it says it will, and some who don't. I have my preferred choices, but only because I've found that they do actually deliver the mail - still the return on investment is too low to make these kinds of outfits recommendable.

Best of Luck!

Nice clean layout on your site.  I may suggest that you provide a different window for your links so that people aren't led away from your site to investigate other options.  Other than that, I don't see anything else that needs to be changed.  Good job.
Paula

Thank You Paula for your comments. And, I like your suggestion. My main reason for not providing an additional opening window for links was to avoid the pop-up guards that most use now-a-days. But, I see your point. Thanks for the advice and I'll heed that advice shortly...Smiley

Thanks Again!

3  .WS/GDI Discussion / General Comments / Re: WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE DISCOVERING GDI? on: August 22, 2007, 05:53:03 PM
What did I do before GDI? That's a loaded question.

I have been in some kind of network marketing since the early late 70's, back when the internet was nothing more than a group of local bulletin board services (BBS) linked together via short-wave radio. For those of you not old enough to remember those days, don't worry. We're not really that old, but we have hit the half-century mark.

I've tried a thousand plus different programs over the years and made a little here and a little there. I've probably lost a whole lot more than I've made though on most. But, GDI is by far the best opportunity I've seen in all the years I've been using a computer for income.

You know the saying, "The faster I go the behinder I get"? Don't try to go to fast. Taking your time and building a rock soliid organization is more beneficial than a fast, quick down-line of free trial users who never provide valid payment information, or drop out as soon as the free trial is over.

Nurture each and every prospect. Be selective and build a solid base upon which you can be proud of and benefit from.

Good Day Everyone,

My Name is Phil and as many of you, I am new to GDI.

Some would call a new person a newbie, fish or some other seemingly unattractive name. However, being new is not a bad thing. Look at it this way, when your new no one can blame you for making a mistake. After all, you don't know any better, yet!

When your new, there's much to learn, and many to learn from ... being a student (of sorts) is an exciting proposition.

When your new there's a sense of excitement, with an "I"m ready to go!" approach to things.

When your new theres a world being prepared to be opened up to you.

See, being new isn't all that bad, right?

Hope Your Day is as Good as Mine Is  Grin
