Awesome as always Norma. I send my new people a "welcome packet" which includes this: I recommend that EVERYONE become familiar with and actively participate in the GDI Forum (I do!), as it's the best place to go not only to talk with other successful longterm and new members alike, but to get ideas on MARKETING, TEAM BUILDING, WEBSITE BUILDING, AND MUCH MUCH MORE! It's also a great place to go with your questions, as there are always a number of people there, no matter what time of day or night, who can immediately respond to you if there's something urgent you can't figure out, or it you're just interested in getting a variety of people's opinions. Once you've registered your username for the forum (go to http://website.ws/members and then look on the tabs at the left -- you'll see the "forum" listed, which will prompt you initially to choose a name), you can access the forum directly by going to http://talk.ws. You won't have to log in through your member area each time.

Hi Phalin, Welcome! Where in France are you, if you don't mind my asking? Don't worry if your English is not perfect (heck, mine's not, and it's my native language ). There also are good translation sites online, if you go into a search engine like google.com for example and type in "free online translator" or "free translation" "french to english" or "english to french" you will find those sites. The translations are very literal, not sometimes accurate, for example with the grammar (masc/fem) or the like, but if there is something you don't understand that you are trying to read in Enlgish, and then you copy and paste this English text in, you can translate to French, and at least get the general idea from the translation you give. I use these online translators often, as I do business internationally in the legal field and often have to be able to read something in languages I've barely heard of let alone speak. I hope that helps.

Hi Chris, Welcome to GDI!! I'm in Chicago, but it sounds like you've got a great opportunity of a game plan working (or in process of working maybe?) for yourself, which I think is great!! Somewhere in the marketing section/forum/whatever-ya-call-it of the board, if you haven't found it yet, there's a thread/discussion going about marketing and promotional ideas to people in person (I think the thread was started by Norma (jnapier). There are some good ideas in there, particularly. But scope out all you can of the marketing section here -- awesome ideas all around. I've been really inspired every time I read in that forum!

Hi Vanessa, As you know, I am in Chicago. Just wanted to say an official welcome! Nicole's response was awesome, and there's really not much I can add to that, other than the obvious which is to say, that this forum is the most helpful set of tools/resources I have been able to find personally. Feel free to write (again) anytime! Amy

Hi Ros, Welcome to GDI. I know a few Aussie GDI-ers, and from what I know, they get folks to sign up the same way we in the US do -- by being honest, by showing credibility (i.e., "hey, look at MY paycheck stub" -- once you get one, and you will!!), and by being a genuine person rather than a "salesperson". I hear from many folks all over (but particularly Asia, for some reason) that folks in whatever region they are in are reluctant to sign up for network marketing. Often times, explaining to folks exactly how GDI is different from the more "scammish" MLMs out there often does the trick. Hopefully you're finding a lot of local folks to help you out more specifically. But in the meantime, just keep on trying. You'll get there!!!!!!!!!!
