Hi I'm new and i still don't know much at all. Any help is appreciated.  thanks

Just start by gathering emails of family and friends log into you're back office and enter them into the invite system, GDI will send out a flash looking invitation email to view you're 7 minute movie.

You can also place free classifieds ad's online at free business opportunities classified places or make flyers and distribute them around to colleges, on car windscreens at shopping malls..etc you can save the flyer from here http://1.ws/flyer/ and just add you're own picture and change it around to how you like. Even make you're own business cards I use vistaprint, you can get 250 cards for free just pay for shipping, you can check out vistaprint.

There are a lot of methods you can do to market you're self, join social networks, create a blog, but maybe the best and proven method is word of mouth, telling anyone and everyone about GDI and do make sure you have business cards already, and hand them 1 or 2,3,4,5 lol.

I wish you success.

Made a video to try and explain Power5Plan better.

The video is titled '$10 MLM transformed into a LOTTERY!'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmkKM8jGAjQ

If there are any questions, please ask them so I can address them. Power5Plan is gaining momentum and I need the support from as much GDI affiliates as possible to turn GDI's amazing MLM into a lottery.

Plus, this new angle works amazingly well when closing your offline prospects!

Joe

Hi Joe

I watched your youtube video and rated it and I do see your commitment to helping others with thier GDI business, even if they not in your downline, I have nothing but praise for you man. I never really understood what this power5plan was all about, but since watching your video, I do get what your getting at and I do see that ratings on video's do count in yourtube to push more traffic to your videos/website.

And that is a good concept, if that randomizer does what you say it does and does it it's self, without any imput from an admin of the site in deciding and manipulating where the randomizer sticks someone when signing up. All and all yes I do see it as a lottery, because you never know if or when the randomizer will ever decide to give you a sign up if it is not manipulated. But then again, if members of power5plan do create videos and upload them and the community of power5 rate those videos of every member that posts a video, then you could push those videos to be seen by more people, which will then lead them back to the power5plan website for them to join up from there and let the RANDOMIZER do it's thing.

This way of creating traffic to the power5plan website will work. And do see it that you do have nothing to lose. Make a video, upload it, rate other P5P members video's join in the forum to see whats going on, cross your fingers that one day the randomizer decides to give a sign up to you. Yet all you done is make a video and rated video's.

Sounds sweet to me Joe.  Wink

Hi, I'm Lori from Ohio, I am here because of Tissa  Cheesy and also because I saw the opportunity in this company that I haven't seen elsewhere. It isn't something you have to connive and beg people into doing, it's something almost everyone needs or wants, and it benefits you as well. So I would love to hear from any and all of you, I'm doing the people search site and also parking a GDI site, so if anyone has any advice, Ill take all I can get. I'm doing alot of the traffic exchange thing, which links or presentations get the best results? I am happy to be part of the community, be back soon! -ldunnoh3

Lori My Issue With Tissa's People Search!!

I did come across tissa's people search engine late last year which one of my downline affiliates sent me to have a look at, had a read up on how it got started and all that, so decided to try it out, try and see how it would benefit me in building my downline, so I joined and also joined all the other affiliate sites that tissa recommended me to join. I already was a clickbank member and also was already using google adsense on my websites, just needed to join the other 2 affiliate sites, so I could get pass the 1st step. For the 2nd step I created another .Ws domain so tissa could upload my search engine to that domain, so it would run off the domain I provided, so I did that, I now was paying for 2 .Ws domains, but didn't want to close my original one, because thats the domain I have left links all over the internet with and was my main traffic pulling url to my GDI affiliate pages.

Then when I got to the 3rd step where I saw we had to pay $29 a month so our pages or search engine will be added to tissa's PPC campaign with google, so I did pay my first months subscription, thinking that "cool tissa is gonna promote and send people my way as well", now I was paying for an extra domain to run my search engine as well as paying tissa $29 a month to add me to his google PPC campaign, so over the coarse of the month, I would see in the traffic part in members area of peoplesearch that tissa would send someone my way every now and then, but was getting kind of anxious on how and what was he doing to help us, I noticed the search for people is only restricted to US residents and would only search those people that have actually added thier details to be searchable to those 2 affiliate people search sites that tissa recommended. And still I'm from new zealand so who the hell am I gonna search for in america?.

I also wrote a support question to tissa in saying how does his PPC campaign he is running benefits us when all I see when I click on his top of the charts ads on google is his story of how he got paid millions by using affiliate sites and how they rock. Yet I said to him in support, how does our $29 a month we are paying him to promote our so called search engine, benefiting us. Sure he offered the $125 bonus sign up, but had to keep up the momentum of the 3 steps for a certain amount of time before he would ever pay it out, really your just paying him to pay you back your $125 sign up bonus, because after the period you had to keep momentized you would of paid tissa more than the sign up bonus you eventually get. So yeah I asked the support question, how does that $29 a month benefit us in his campaigns?

God I waited so long for the answer and in the end I never got ONE! my support question was left there unanswered, I sent more support questions and they wern't answered as well, gawd I was practically pulling my hair out and disgraced that I was brushed of like that, I figured it out, all this BS site tissa has set up has only ment to benefit himself, and his statement of saying people search is taking off is all a load of crap, yeah "taking of for himself", where people who do join, have to promote a search engine with no story to tell of how your making millions from affiliate sites. And yet expecting people to join you without no success story like tissa has. And getting them to try and join you just looking at a pitifully set up people search engine webpage, that only takes one second to upload to any domain because the page holds no value at all.

Sure he is on the leader board, but you will never see anyone that has joined him in that people search engine program be on top of the leader board as he is. Yet another thing he said for all members when they joined people search was they wern't allowed to use the keyword affiliate or affilitize in there own PPC campaigns as they promote there search engines, because those are the key words that triggers his ads, "where are the keywords that trigger our ads", for the so called $29 a month we were paying for him to advertise our pages, all a bunch of crap. And ohhhh....how so many he has sucked in. I can't believe how many traffic exchanges are promoting people search engines, over saturating the market with search engines LMAO and yes I was one of them, but came to my senses.

Sad to see still one of my downline is holding in there, holding onto faith that something would happen with this people search, and yet she has been in it for 6 months now, and I have not seen anyone join her business since.

So I canceled my account with peoplesearch, just a bunch of crap, canceled my peoplesearch domain with GDI, now back to 1 domain and promoting my GDI afiliates sites the old fashioned way with my own 2 hands, and successfully too.

People Understand Things And Dig A Bit Deeper In You Understanding How This People Search Engine Is Gonna Benefit You, I Gaurentee, Like Me You Won't Find It.

Pass this onto anyone who is in people search and lets discuss this matter further in GDI forums,

Personally, I think they need some new flyers. I think the whole red sports car thing is incredibly cliche. "want one of these..." ....please. It screams "junk mail".

Then create your own, download the flier add it to microsoft word and add another image, change text around, get it looking how you want it to look, save it then print out 10,000 of them, Whoa....your business will take of then Smiley

We are allowed to make our own fliers, that flier is just an example.

Just read this entire thread from "2007" til now. I believe this problem of not being able to make banners work started when GDI changed the website builder. There's never been a tutorial on how the make the banners work and it seems that these pages of repeated banner questions are only read by the folks that are posting the questions. I've kinda given up asking. I keep trying to make it work. I even used a post written by JD Tutterow. I guess his instructions applied to the old version of the website builder, because on my version there is no "HTML Editor" button nor is there an "Insert HTML Code" button at the bottom of the html box that pops up when you're adding text to you site! What I have been able to do, is insert clip art and insert hyperlinks to make it go to the GDI movie invitation page. You have to upload to clip art to your GDI site builder gallery(First). Then you can insert onto your page or pages and insert a hyperlink. Hope this helps a little.

Thank you Whamlet  Smiley
I will try and give this a go. Not sure how the hyperlinks work but I will spend some time trying to figure it out. I agree lots of Questions and no help.
Could someone from GDI post a new thread and explain to all new GDIers how to work the banners in. It is a big turn off for new trial members. People are pulling out. Its difficult to promote to new afilliates if you show them no confidence in getting them set up easy.

I posted in one of the posts I did to you about the banner by copying the banner to your picture folder and then uploading it to the gallery and then placing it on the website, hyperlink is just putting a link on the image so when you hover your mouse over it, you pointer changes to a hand, indicating the image is linked to a url,

Contact .Ws support about the issue with html banner codes not working in sitebuilder, maybe the more support emails they get on this issue will push them to get thier tech guys to look at it.

7  .WS/GDI Discussion / General Comments / YAY! GDI Managment Approved GDI Images On My Website on: February 05, 2009, 02:53:51 PM
Hi GDI Associates

I sent an email to .Ws Support a few days ago to see if the GDI images I'm using on my website was in any violation of any sort and because of copyright issues. I expected to recieve an email back from them about my issue, which I did, but the email siad that they didn't really review affiliates websites but has handed my issue on to GDI Managment to review my concerns.

Yesterday morning at 6.30am new zealand time, the phone rang, I was surprised to hear it ring that early in the morning and thought it must be one of my family calling with some problem. So I rushed to answer it, only to hear an american voice saying "is this Patrick...is this Patrick..." I responded "yes this is Patrick", "this is Global Domain International Managment".....WOW! I was surprised  Shocked. But I knew straight away what it was about and was nervous, and was waiting for the verdict Smiley.

Managment went on about how they didn't review affiliates websites, but in some cases if asked they would, he did do a check on my website pages and saw the use of the GDI images was not in violation of any kind, so the images were approved, but he did add that on the bottom of each webpage where images of GDI were being displayed to have a bit of writing stating the owner of the website being me and that the website is copyrighted. He siad that adding me as being the owner of each webpage, did not make my website any part of GDI the parent company. So yeah I understood that.

He also checked my UNOFFICIAL GDI Forums and just stated to actually make UNOFFICIAL stand out a bit more and in the main heading/title, and that was it.

So I did all what he told me to do and my website is all go and approved, I no longer have to worry about my website being in any violation with GDI policies...I'm so HAPPY...lol.

Thanks .Ws Support and GDI Managment.

(if anyone wants to use GDI images from our parent company, please also contact .ws support for approval, it's the natural thing to do, because GDI images are copyrighted)
8  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Simple Contact Form Using Hosting on: February 04, 2009, 07:10:50 PM
Not sure how often/if this forum is checked anymore. I saw old 2005 and 2006 threads. Anyways, I am using the hosting feature. I am an experienced user, I know html, css, ect. I coded up a php script for a simple contact me form. It does not send. I also tried downloading some, it doesn't work. It has to be a restriction on what commands the server will execute. But the guy when I called said it should work.

Anyone know how I can add a php contact form to my site using GDIs hosting?

Hi ShudoggMarketing << cool name Smiley

As far as I know and have read up on using php scripts with your GDI hosting, GDI has not allowed the scripts to run on thier servers because of setting up and going into the actual server to respond to request done by the php script.

The other solution is to use a company that will handle the php scripts request for you and paste the code you get from them on any one of your websites, so any information put through your contact forms on your pages is handled by the company your php script is with, there are a lot of companies out there that offer php scrip handling on your behalf and free too.

Good Luck With That.

I have also just put my first blog up have a look over if you fancy. http://marketwithmark.blogspot.com/
Doing this online jazz since the start of January so a newbie I believe.

Hi Mark

Your website looks awesome man, they must of added the new templates when they upgraded late last year, before that the templates where pretty basic, but to see them now, makes me want to go back to site builder Smiley.

And yeah I see the HTML code still not converting, the only other way I know is to copy that banner image from in your back office and save to your my pictures on your computer, then go into sitebuilder and upload that banner image and place it on your page, then link it to what ever url you want the people to go to when they click the banner.

HAHA! yeah you spelt it right (Hangi), lol how else you gonna feed a tribe of people, you need to think of cooking in a big oven, so yeah ingenious idea, cooking in the earth, I love my hangi's to.

AND i READ YOUR BLOG!, man your a natural, you got all the potential to become financially free, people who join your downline are gonna be greatful to have an upline/leader/motivator/network marketer like you, just reading your blog, I sensed the great leadership skills you posses, man keep on blogging everywhere and anywhere, I see people scramming in to read your blogs.

I wish I had sponsored you now  Wink

You go for it man, maybe one day when we both financially free we will meet for real, and shake each others hand and then go partying lol

Peace out skin.

Hello to everybody, i am new here!!!
I am from Greece!
I have some questions right now and looking for the answers!
Any help acceptable gratefully!!!
Are you all satisfied from this work?
Is the payment for each person once and for all, or you are being paid continiously for that person, every month?
Silly question may think but i cannot understand from those i read!
I mean you have to make more and more people to join to get paid or any additional person raises your income?
Please let me know!
Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Filippos and welcome

First of all I'd like to start of by saying and I'm being honest here that YES! you have joined a Mulit Level Marketing Business, and no the payment of each person is not once and for all, but then again it can be, but because not all people have the drive and determination to persist in building a MLM business, there are some that may last the 7 day trial, or pull out even before the trial is up, some may last 2 months, 6 months, or even up to a year and drop out, but there is a lot of reasons why they do drop out, but I will point out what I think is one of the main reasons why they do drop out.

MLM + No Marketing Skills = Unprofitable Business

As you may have seen in the GDI leaderboards, that some of them are just blowing thier incomes of the charts, by what ever marketing method they are using to encourage others to see and join the GDI opportunity. And mostly by them taking advantage of PPC ( pay per click) by google, but in most cases some of us don't have the kind of budget to even compete with key words they have locked up in pricing that they would pay for a certain keyword.

Some of us need to harness other methods in finding those potential life time income earners for your business.

Basicly we all know before joining GDI that we was gonna be paid out 1 US $ for every person we personally sponsor as well as 1 US $ for every person someone else sponsors in our 5 lvl deep compensation plan. They recommended you finding 5 people and teaching those 5 to do the same, really the teaching method is getting them to show the movie to others as well, thats where we can go back to the first paragraph in which I quoted

"And no the payment of each person is not once and for all, but then again it can be".

Using the 5 method plan is a good start, but for myself and what I teach my downline is to strive for 10 affiliates in your frontline (1st line), WHY 10!, because having 10 affiliates paying there $10 a month for thier own .Ws domain, covers the cost of your .Ws domain, you are now break even, meaning the business is paying for it's self now. Now every person who joins after your 10 first affiliates is PROFIT.

This is another ingenious way GDI has helped us to stablize our income and downline is by offering someone in your downline a leg or affiliate or person what ever you wanna call it. We now have the option of helping those 10 people in our downline by offering them an affiliate your personally sponsored, that can only be looked upon in appreciation, knowing that you are determined to help your downline succeed as well as yourself, that is being unselfish and would only serve you good in the long run in cementing your affiliates and locking them in place. And the person you helped should feel grateful.

Now you must understand, that in time you will see that it's not only you helping to build your business but you will see other people join you business not from direct contact with your affiliate link, but through contact with another affiliates link in your downline.

Now that MLM at it's best.

Just imagine waking one morning and turning on your computer and checking your email inbox and seeing that someone has joined on your 3rd lvl, then your 4th lvl, then your 5th lvl, all because others in your downline are striving to build thier own income for life as well.

Believe me I have witnessed it in my own business.

But you sift through all the knowledge that this forum has to offer and you build your belief in GDI, and building a belief in GDI is not hard to do in here, it's putting all what you learn into action thats the hardest part.

One advice I suggest, if you want to find people who are interested in an opportunity, what better place to start than with family, friends, and work colegues, as well as advertsing in your local paper in your own country. Thats where I started and most of my downline are Kiwi's (New Zealanders), and it was good to see that from a lot of them my business has branched out into australia, south africa, italy and spain, so ya never know who in your country can take your business all over the world.

Good luck with your GDI business, believe in it, it will make you financially FREE!

And show the movie Smiley
11  .WS Services / WebSite Development / Re: Banner Questions on: February 02, 2009, 05:30:52 PM
You make me shy now Smiley and how you know I'm maori lol,

And no I learnt HTML all by myself, but with a lot of reading and making a lot of mistakes, but finally got the hang of it, actually I started out using the sitebuilder and did learn a lot of using HTML through the sitebuilder, but did find it limited in what I wanted to achieve on my website and NO! using the sitebuilder does not mean your page wont show or being hosted, but when using the actual hosting only, you've said to GDI that you want to make your own pages yourself and upload them to be hosted thats all.

At first I started my unofficial GDI forum for my downline only, but thought nope I'll open it to every GDI member, I must call it unofficial, because it is that, this is the main GDI forum and the bomb one I might say, but I don't mind it being unoffical lol.

And yes you can copy any of those images, they are not copyrighted and can be used anywhere.

And hey your welcome back to new zealand anytime ya please Smiley and there is good and bad critters in every race, but yeah we maori's always try to see the bright side of life lol, but I like aussies to, we all seem to click with one another and hey I have some irish ancestory too, we could be cousins LMAO, ohh and scottish as well as french as you can see in my last name.

And it's de thierry with 2 R's instead of 3, I did a bogey when I first signed up as a member of GDI, I spelt my name wrong, and when I saw it in members spelt with 3 R's I contacted support that it was only 2 R's lol, and also when I logged into the forums using the 3 R's in my last name, it stuck and also contacted support about changing that too, but they said they couldn't alter my name in here...sad  Cry

So yeah post your link to your page so I can have a jack at it.
12  .WS/GDI Discussion / New Member? / Re: Welcome New Members! on: February 01, 2009, 02:01:49 PM
Hi I am sam from India. I am still in the process of learning. I have a few questions
Is it advantageous to build your ouwn site or a standard template by GDI is equally good.
As soon as I GOT MY DOMAIN NAME i TRIED SEARCHING FOR MY SITE AT GOGGLE search but I cudn't find. What can be the reason?

Hi Sam SP

I use to use the GDI site builder, but opted to build my own and upload my pages and just use the GDI hosting, if you have not gone into the GDI site builder yet, your domain address will by the default go to one of your affiliate pages, untill you enter the website builder and start adding content. As you save the content, GDI will then revert your domain address to what you have created through there site builder. It does take time to resolve before you or the world can view it.

Searching for your domain in google, may take sometime for the search crawl spider to crawl your website, so the best thing is to add your website domain to google to instruct them to crawl your website so it adds it to google search. Go to google and submit your domain name to them.

The only advantage in building your own website is it's your own creation, built from the bottom up, there are limited things you can do with the GDI site builder, but creating your own and uploading has no limit on what you can create on your website, just remember to keep your content and what ever else you upload to your GDI hosting account right on or under 100mb, check out my website I created http://bonzdee.ws/index.html at the moment my MB percent usage for my website is at 8mb of 100mb, I can still add plenty of pages.

You can check how much usage you are using by going to your backoffice clicking on domain and clicking on hosting. That is if you've changed your account to hosting instead of site builder, site builder will tell you in there how much MB you have left to use.

Once you intiate hosting GDI will send you the FTP hosting name through email to upload your webpages and in your FTP client just add that information, your user name and password and ya all go to upload your pages.

Have Fun Smiley

Hi my name is IRENE and I have been networking for 12 years!!!  I have lost $70,000!!!
I hope I make money with this program that my sponsor was kind enough to pay me in
and pay until I make some money.

That is a lot of money to lose IreneR, thankfully you found the GDI business, so you wont ever lose or even come close to losing that much, you might gain that much in income though Smiley, and thats good of your sponsor, good to see I aint the only one who pays some of my downlines subscription to GDI till they start making enough commissions to set up a paypal account and direct commissions into that and then get paypal to pay thier monthly domain fee's to GDI ingenious way GDI has set it up aint it?...lol,

Heaps of success to you and your GDI business.

Welcome Vue

Great attitude Vue, you know I'm the same, I'm all for helping anyone and everyone in GDI, because I know how frustrating it can be, especially if your new to MLM, the key is learn how to market yourself, weather it be through networking places, traffic exchanges, PPC (pay per click), advertising online and offline, what ever it is, the key is in getting the people to come to you, not solicit them.

If your new to MLM, remember this formula: MLM + No Marketing Skills = Unprofitable Business, no matter what mlm business it is.

Equip yourself for whats ahead, learn how to market yourself on the internet and offline, because face the facts, if you don't market yourself, your business stays stagnent, read, read, read, copy and paste information into notepads, save in ya my documents to go over again if you need to refresh your information on that subject.

Till one day BAM!!!!, your a force to reckon with...hehe!.

Hello, From Columbus, Ohio.
I see the thremendous upside. But I'm kind of unclear on where to begin.  Thanks any input would be appreciated.

Hi Damiko,

Welcome to GDI

As stated in the GDI flash presentation, use the invite system, put email addresses of family, friends, work colegues into invite system, click send. Thats it! your GDI work is done for today Smiley, go about your daily business, give it a few days, go back to members back office, back to invite system, click statistics link, check out who opened your business invitation email, who clicked the link in there to view your flash presentation and also if they went to your website.ws affiliate page.

Simple, easy, and effective.

Thats how we do it at GDI..... Wink
