HELP!

i need the html code to open another website in separate window.

how do i do this with a picture link?

johann

<a href="link.html" target="new"><img src="image.gif"></a>

Use that sample I used and all you need to do is put the link and image of your choosing to replace the sample. Just leave the target part alone; it will open in a separate window. Hope this helps.

Hi all

Just want to let you all know that I find the GDI templates from web builder is not as nice as I was hoping it would be. So I went ahead with hosting it with GDI and getting design from here http://www.oswd.org/ I throw something together for my site, in a matter of minutes Smiley

OMG thank you sooo much!!! You have NO IDEA how much easier it is to make my site look more professionally...right now, my site is nothing but mumbo-jumbo!!! I will display my site once I can get this fixed (hopefully). Thank you again!!!

As for an FTP application, I highly recommend Unlimited FTP Online. I've used it exclusively for about 3 or 4 years. You use it online, not on your computer. I like the fact that I can open a file that resides on my website, and make quick edits with Notepad or Wordpad, then ftp the update. I can do this on any computer with an internet computer... even at the library, if need be. Their interface is very easy to use. If you are like me and have lots of websites to manage, you can save all of their settings in your account. Then all you have to do is click on the website you want to access and it takes you right there.

This is their entry point, where you can sign up for a free account. http://www.unlimitedftp.ca/myftp/

I like Unlimited FTP Online; I'm using that for my website....the new sitebuilder has given me problems and headaches. But I really want to know how you can go about with getting your links within the site to work. I tried to have two of my links go to different parts of the site, but it goes to the main page...plus the fact that I haven't done FTP since...2000-2001? Am I doing something wrong? HELP PLEASE!!!

I have difficulty with the new sitebuilder! I only want to fix a small error on my links, but everytime I try to edit the text that was already there, it doesn't so anything.

What do you think about domain forwarding or basic hosting? And which one would be better for me? I'd like to make my own layout now and actually make my site look and feel more like my own work.

Can I see your website? I'd like to see for myself...it's even got me scratching my head and I'm kinda confused about what you're trying to explain.

I'm going to try and use an FTP to edit my site 'cause I'm eventually going to have more of my work added on, but my CSS knowledge is a little rusty. Does someone have or know a reliable site I can use? I will give you credit for the help.
