Carrie, I do not know if publisher has a pre-configure to put page links at side. But you could add you own,(This is an Example to write a new Page with HTML page links) Create New page, Preference(2 column),Edit Page, Now on Design Page you can Type in Anything you want to point to page2,page3,page4 I will use these for example...Finish Designing "Page Numbers individualy" Page 2 Use the buttons to change type, color, highlight, boldness then do the same for Page 3 After doing this Carrie, you can view the HTML that shows code written for your pages Now all you need to do is turn them into a link for each Page link you created. Example of Code before changing to link: <p><font color="#3366ff"><strong>Page 2</strong></font></p> Code after changing to link: <a href="http://www.yoursite.ws/page2.html"><font color="#3366ff"><stron>Page 2</strong></font> </a>Notice The changes you have to make for each Page link you create in Bold This may be the Long Hand way of doing it with Publisher.........Does anyone else have a quicker Idea...Rob??? lol O.k. Carrie I hope this helps....it can be done.

As we are all Representatives of the company "I see no reason we can't" as long as we uphold the views of the company in a professional manner.
ie "I wouldn't sell someone Water Front property in Atlantis" or have a "Lottery for The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow" on paper with Thier "GDI" Logo pasted on it"
If I am not correct I will stop all adverts going out that I made at once. And Everyone else should do as well.......no they don't want that. -JUST BE RESPONSIBLE- Or they just may ask you to pack it up. Have a great Day, Dennis F

has anyone a good ad for the asian market? William, you stated you have tried several. From what I know of Asian Culture, and is good , they are very Very Family Orientated. Knowing this I would try something along the lines of "Make a Comfortable Life for You and Your Family"----------See what it takes http://website.ws/dennisdf/showSomething along those lines I am sure you could come up with something good, I wouldn't give too much information to peek thier interest and Having it Translated into the language your looking to advert to would be the way to go. I am sure you already new this. Have a good day, success in all you do.....Dennis

.WS Services / WebSite Development / Re: Should we be allowed to have hidden pages with the new sitebuilder?

Hidden pages have a variety of applications. Here are some:
Create a page that is a greeting card, and mail a friend/family the URL. A web presentation of a confidential business proposal. Pages that become visible only after someone has emailed a mail daemon. Allowing people to hit spot pages, but not to browse. Restricting web access to those who know specific info. Utilizing the last you can create treasure hunts, or tests, but cannot continue until they have provided the correct info, reaction that you specify.

At first glance they are all important, but take a step back to not knowing what opt-in is or being able to figure out all by your self how to list your site on search engines and get a good ranking???
So I marked one (1) only on the pole,... "Support" be it upline, downline, or on the forum. Its the support of all the special people and thier particular talents they share that make it all work out.

A safe targeted group to email is from safelists. What is a Safelist? DEFINITIONBasically, a safelist is a group of people all willing to receive promotions via email By definition then, that means that safelists are what is known as "opt-in". Opt-in is when: 1. People actively choose to receive your message by signing in some manner 2. People can opt-out or unsubscribe from the list at any time And a better opt in lister is a person that double verifies for thier opt in by filling out and then comfirming with an email. And if you want to do some self educating on the subject do a google on safelists. Becuase spamming "unknowingly even" can get you banned from you ISP even. In closing I would say Fly striaght and keep Your Name and everyone you represent respectable. Also I emphasize to Read Terms and Agreements to all sites, software, and services.

MasVenturesCorp, are using rotators, considered spam ? Not Spam ...BUT make sure you do not violate the site terms and agreements, then you do get negetive feedback. Rotators, have the capability of "rotating" multiple sites off of one url Now 95% of the sites have thier own rotator and Do Not Allow you to use your own. And you can get banned So READ the terms and agreements carefully before trying to submitt you own rotator if you have one you use. I don not submitt rotator urls because you can get in trouble ... I do however use a homepage rotator....every time I open up the window I advertise on a different site..very useful if you have multiple accounts this way you can actively use each site by keeping them in a rotation and not violate the sites terms and agreements. Hope the is helpfull

I know the frustration you're talking about Michelle. So far as I know you have to get it right step by step the first time. And I found its better when you find something you want to near the bottom instead of the top. LOL I have even did the "One Line Down" shuffle creating an empty bottom and then pain-stakingly copying and moving each line down. I just realized each letter of One Line Down...spells -OLD- I use the Site Builder to get used to the program that is supplied.... I will try using the Microsoft FrontPage I have on the computer and see what I can do offline and then maybe just upload my own pages in time. And the new version 3 is alot Better..thanks staff, importent, personel, techy type peoples in charge.

My "two cents" says that almost everybody is a potential customer/affiliate. First I sell how excited I am to be a part of GDI. (That's not hard for me) I keep all people I am in contact with updated and show my excitement for this opportunity with GDI. This is where I start to discover if people will want to join this wave. If they don't seem to be interested in the opportunity, then I start on selling them the site, you want to be seen.?right? And I have convinced everyone I know that all marketing is some type of MLM even if society doesn't advertise it. The local Genral Store shakes hands with, provider #1 so that he can make 10-150% on the stocked item, provider #1 shook hands with provider#2 to get the best price.....etc. etc etc this list could go on and on. But I agree with Amy when I talk with people I don't know, I sugar coat it, " I Host, .ws domains and will be successful just like the people that hosted the .com wave" I have a tax return to deal with just like a real job. And I point out we at GDI offer a product that can and will be used for years to come. It is their very own online address. And I also point out that at some point in time I will be recieiving a RESIDUAL income. And if you compare that with a social security check to retire off of......THEY START LISTENING It is late and it seems I am rambling.......goodnight all Dennis

I don't know how many other people come across other GDI adverts? This is what I noticed, While vewing, others adverts....they don't load up in time. The page moves on, this is hurting your percentage of prospects..and possibly wasting your time. And I don't like to see that. Soooo please look at how your page loads, try to keep it simple enough that you get seen and hopelfully sign-ups. Also to keep in mind some sites ban your page if it does not load up in time... Hope this helps out for all have a great week! Dennis

.WS Services / WebSite Development / Page load-up times, Importent "Most of the time"
|

For "most" of us people with a website the load up time of the first page is CriticalThis is because the traffic we get is not targeted traffic and do not have a very specific reason to wait for your page to load up. People will leave your site before it loads if you have to much going on, on your first page. ie. Banners, pictures(big time factor), and all the extra things that do look cool ....once loaded. I personally like some of the things that follow the mouse around. But they add up to load up time. RobB had commented about something alot of people don't realize they can do, and that is to have certian places do a crunch on your pics. This a way to get pics in you want and to optimize your page load up time. Now for the others that do have "site specific" targeted traffic (example bikers surfing to a "bikers"site) can more flexible. the people visiting your site already has your interest and will wait......to a point. These are just some tips and to let you know there are also tricks for getting the webpage you like up and going. Take care and the best to all.......Dennis

I like your bold titles reading down in order it says Promoting, Promoting, Promoting, Beware of Promotional Gimmicks lol...... When I try to accomplish "My One Task a Day" minimum, this is usually it promotion. Getting seen in different veniews and common ones as well. I am learning this all the long way and one thing I quickly noticed is: There are alot of promoting veniews out So be sure to write it all down Places submitted to, the dates, which URL's, when you can resubmitt sites, and after I got used to that, I would take note of where I got traffic from, and make sure to re-submit to those places. Thanks Nicole Great section as usual I hope these suggestions help others out. Take Care, Dennis
