One way is to print your own business cards to start. Print some to target opportunity seekers and some to sell the website package.

Whenever you visit a merchant, introduce yourself and suggest how great a website would be for their business. Suggest they offer it to their customers. If they aren't interested, ask if they would mind if you placed some of your cards on their counter. They will be looking at them all the time, and maybe it will change their mind.

Face to face is definitely the way to go on a limited budget!

Hi Everyone,

What first attracted me to GDI was the low monthly fee and the idea that no product was involved. I had sold cosmetics for a few years and it was a pain.

Anyway, back in 1978 a friend and I started a BBQ restaurant from scratch. On our first night we sold 2 chicken dinners and a rack of ribs. 20 years later we retired from the place with fans from all over the world grieving our departure.

I have every faith that GDI will overtake my present salary and retire me again. I do work it hard. Mostly snail mail, drop cards and physically pounding the pavement. I know my efforts will pay off and it's worth every bit of my time.

It was once an olive farm community, then it became one of the many meth capitols that our country has been plagued with over the years. Now that the riffraff has drifted, we are moving up in class in the resident and aesthetic departments.

I don't mean to discourage anyone, but I have come to the conclusion from 2 orgs that I have approached, that they want the entire 10, not 10%. I'm not giving up on them though. I will visit others and hope they see the light!

By the way, non profits can put their EIN instead of a social, can't they?

Congratulations on your leaderboard status. I too have suffered the same difficulties. I constantly keep in contact with my downline, emailing them invites to explore GDI and join the forum. I send them links to the training manual and copies of my drop cards and the flyers I have created. One difficulty I am having is that most of the phone numbers my downline has listed are bogus! I just keep sending them useful info and encouragement and do the best I can. None of them have ever responded to any of my numerous emails! I'm disappointed since I would like to have somewhat of a relationship with these folks so that we can grow together. My upline keeps in touch with me on a regular basis and also responds to my inquiries in record time. I really appreciate them. Thank you upline!

I had a zero response rate with 150 GDI flyers. I had a 5% response on 75 of of the sales letters that I created. 

Frank's letter is great. I may use his as well.

One thing I believe is that folks don't want to read too much. Just the facts.  I'm going to make my next one short, sweet & enticing and see what happens with that.

I sent out 150 GDI flyers to area business yesterday. Fitness clubs, realtors, tax preparers and numerous Mom & Pop shops. I also included my business card.

I have a very local yellow pages and selected one or two business in each category. I did have to research some zip codes at USPS.com and I printed up labels with the addresses..

I also created a presentation letter, but decided to send the flyer instead. For my next round I will send the letter and compare the results.
