1  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / What if......? on: August 01, 2006, 09:56:38 AM
What if someone has become very successful with GDI. Really so much successful, that they can quit their job. What then, if someone files a spam complaint against you? It could even be from someone who knows you and wants to harm your success. The next logical thing that's going to happen is that your account gets suspended. I never hope to get to this point, but I've already seen it happen to some people. I assume it will happen unnoticed. You would just get an email with "your account has been blocked/removed because of spam complaints" in it.

And even if there is need for proof of SPAM, what if you promote somehow some way in the wrong way. Of course that's your own mistake but I almost feel too scared to put GDI into major advertising, experimenting with newer things....Not that I have been a great success yet, but it has always wondered me. In one day you could go from the happiest and richest man to a sad, poor and jobless man.....

The video could do with cenetering though and the text over the bonnet of the ferrari is hard to read, but that said;

Great start Arthur  In fact excellent! Two things the word "victom" is spelled "victim" and you might want to look at your site in an 800*600 browser window. It is a little squashed at this resolution.

Please could you tell us about how you put the video in? I have not seen that and would love to add it to my support site. The video is slow to load even on an ADSL connection so you might want to consider putting a link to it so it doesnt slow your index page.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Matthew, I agree with you. The video is also a bit deformed. It's also too small to make a good impact I think.
RodB, thanks for noting that. Will update that typo soon. The video is not really much special, just a simple <object> code which is to be inserted somewhere between your <body> </body> tag. Place it wherever you like you like it to appear.

It might be possible that it won't work for you, I am not sure. It's an 180mb movie, so there's no way you could host it on GDI's webspace. I've download the movie and uploaded it onto my other webhosting account, which has 20 gig webspace and 1 tb traffic bandwidth. My Webhost supports streaming media, and perhaps every site can put up a video in their page, I do not know this, neither am I not aware of GDI's specifications for its webhosting accounts, all I know is that you get 100mb webspace.
They probably are to be found somewhere on the GDI site but I haven't looked into that yet.
Thanks for the positive feedback, means people actually do like it
I am thinking about ditching the video, because it slows the user too much. It's just too much cpu loading and bandwith, just for that the visitor will click it away.
Guess I'll just have to start over hey Cool
3  .WS Business / Training / Re: What if my upline never contacts me? on: March 18, 2006, 10:02:43 AM
Hi everyone

I am Arthur Jacobsen and new on the forum.
New to GDI as well, I'm still in my trial but of course I plan to stay with GDI.
I am not really happy about it, I will soon revamp the site.
However, having nobody reffered as of yet, I was wondering if anyone is able to give me some instant messenger (or chatroom) help.

Really, I feel like I'll manage but I need some help starting up. I've contacted my upline but so far not much really. Seems like they are really busy making money not having any time left for me.
I'm really looking for some people that I can contact if I stumble upon a new question.
I have been studying making money on the internet for more than two weeks straight, my eyes look like little LCD screens now. GDI wasn't the only thing I looked into, but I have learned you need to focus on one project at the time. Overwhelmed by all the info, but still very very excited to start referring people, I really need someone helpful enough willing to help me taking off.

Suggestions or comments for my site are appriciated  Roll Eyes

Hello, Also greetings from Holland here.
My name is Arthur Jacobsen and I live for cars. And of course for money, cause without cash no burning rubber.
Glad to see there already is a small community from our little country.
Indeed it seems hard to market MLM in The Netherlands, most don't even have a credit card.
Thank God for the Internet! I have much faith in this company I hope it rises to the top.
I hope everyone does well with their paychecks, I can't wait for mine!
