It's more about bandwidth than actual visits. What kind of site are you hosting? Is there a lot of dynamic content? Is it image-heavy? These are things that may use more bandwidth.

The second link (Google) has an expandable list that explicitly states Google treats the .WS domain extension as a gTLD (global Top-Level Domain) instead of a ccTLD (county code Top-Level Domain). Long story short, this means a .WS domain ranks just as well as a .COM domain when all other factors remain equal. There is no "penalty" for .WS domain extensions.

You have already received some fantastic advice. I would like to add to it. Use the Invite system! This is one of the easiest ways to get started. Hello, everyone! I started with GDI yesterday and I am excited to be here! My name is Daniel Briere and I am from Ashland, Virginia-USA (just outside of Richmond, the capital city in my state).
