1  .WS Services / WebSite Development / Re: How do I ftp with GDI? on: November 23, 2011, 11:30:41 AM
Hi, I am using Coffecup Free FTP to upload my files. But I recently have a "disk quota exceeded" problem.  When I checked the sizes of my files, its very small as compared to my allowed disk space of 100MB. Can someone help me with this?

Thanks.

Hi everyone,as of today MSQL is not yet supported by GDI.  I make use of SmartFTP to transfer my files to the server. I only have one question:

How can I use a flat file database (.txt) as an alternative storage of my data collected by my online forms? I've been researching for a week now (I am not a programmer) and I want to use PHP in coding.

Thanks.
3  .WS Services / WebSite Development / How To Design Signup Forms with Frontpage on: December 31, 2007, 03:13:43 AM
Hi there! I've been trying to design my website but I am not that kind of savy.  I just want to ask how to design a signup form using Microsoft Frontpage and how can I view the results of information that the form collects.  Thanks and more power to fellow GDI affiliates.

And an advance Happy New Year to everyone.

I make use of Frontpage and WS FTP in building my site. Here are some basic things you need to do:

1. Your homepage SHOULD be saved as "index.html" this is a requirement as emailed by GDI when you change your subscription from "Build mY Site" to "Web Hosting" Simply saved your homepage ex "johnhomepage.html" into "index.html" use the menu (in Frontpage) File -- Save As.

2. Upload ALL your files to the "ftp.hosting.ws" server. I mean ALL your files that is connected with your "index.html" (all photos, .jpegs,.gif that you used. And simply change the path to "\.filename".  For example (in Frontpage) your homepage has a picture named mypix.jpeg located in your PC with path "C:mypage\mypix.jpeg". Simply change the pathy to "\mypix.jpeg" once you transferred it to the GDI server.

Hope this helps.

Hi there,
i've been with GDI for 2 months and got about 3 members in my downline. I just purchased leads and would like to know  how i should contact these leads? Do i email them? What do i write? I'm really clueless.I've used GDI Invite system but didn't get a single sign up.

Can anyone recommend me the best autoresponder for GDI? Would really appreciate it . Thanks

Mal.

Hi there, I'm not against in "buying leads" for your GDI BUT I think you must earn first before you can pay that much. There are some "cheap lead companies" and what do you get in return? a junk email addresses . I suggest you build your list and try to use "free" online marketing tools. I can share my free online tools to you, if you are interested just PM me.

Hope this helps.

Cheesy Hi there! How nice of you to offer those things, can I have a copy too. Kindly pm me

Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!

Cheesy Though using the invite is GOOD, please be careful NOT to invite many people who are not network marketers. They don't know what GDI is. They don't understand what you are promoting. And this may lead to a "rejection" rather than a signup.

Happy New Year to All

I have been using Hits2 for sending my ads out
I get lots of leads and they send out the letters for me.
But no one has joinned and I ve been trying for 5 months
and one member.
Frances Roe

Hi Frances & Happy New Year too! Leads are very easy to get, but the challenge is
how you could convert those leads into downlines? I've known it from the start and
I just keep on trying.  Truly, there's a lot of work but remember that "chance favors those who persists".

Hope this helps.

:)Happy New Year to everyone. Thank you Kyra for your post. Hope to see more tips here in the future. My usual prospects are business owners, since a free website could really boost their new business, they signed up. But recently I learned that I should hire networkers inorder for my GDI business to bloom to the fullest. Thanks to Marvin Drobes.
