This is something that's stopped alot of my prospects from joining GDI.  The fact that GDI offers an awesome income opportunity is great.  But, as soon as my prospects find out that GDI hosting doesn't include Cpanel like most others, they walk away and sign up with services like hostgator and others.


$10 a month really should include Cpanel hosting.  Even with a limited amount of hosting space and bandwidth, it would add more value.  Other hosts offer unlimited hosting space, bandwidth, etc for under $20 a month.  Hope GDI considers this.  As I said before, this is the one major blockade I have with my prospects.

I've been a GDI affiliate for about 5 years now, and it's the best decision I've ever made.  Stick with it and you'll do great!!

I am thinking about holding a live presentation of the GDI opportunity.  (One of the local restaurants will let me use their extra dining room for this at no extra charge, as long as we order food!  )  As part of the presentation, I plan to show the GDI DVD, and talk a bit about the GDI opportunity, and answer any questions.  I also will have my laptop, with online access, for anyone who wants to start their free trial right there. 

My question is, has anyone else done a live presentation, and how effective was it?  Also, what did your presentation consist of, and how was it structured.

I need to get some feedback.  I'm was thinking of advertising the GDI opportunity on television.  Either through a short 30-60 second commercial, or possibly a 30 minute infomercial.  Do you think that GDI would approve of this, and if so, does anyone think this is a good idea? 

I've been working on using fund raising as well, but have had no luck so far.  Does anyone have a sample email that they use when contacting orgs?

Just ad a liitle flair to your signature.  Such as

"Watch a Free Movie... www.website.ws/username/show"  Or if you can use html in your signature, put the hyperlink inside the phrase "Watch a Free Movie (or something to that effect.)  I've also found by just writing "click here" people's curiousity takes over and they will almost always click on the link. 

To make things simpler for myself, I set domain forwarding so when people go to my .ws site  I've found that people will click on top level domains (ie, www.domain.ws) more often than subpages (ie, www.domain.ws/page1.html)  If you need help with this, a nice tutorial is available under the Affiliates section in the GDI Back Office)
