1  .WS Business / Marketing / How well do you think this will work? on: February 19, 2007, 02:32:22 PM
I am planning to open up a booth at this years fair... Along with the stuff I am going to sell, I was wondering if I should dediacte a portion of the space to GDI. If I could somehow get internet at the fair, I could show off the 7-minute video. Do you think this will work? If not please explain why. Other suggestions would be appreciated. P.S. If they buy a glow stick, I can throw in a GDI card.

Has anyone tried radio advertising? If so, were you successful?
4  .WS Business / Marketing / I have an idea... on: October 08, 2006, 10:24:41 PM
I was thinking of an idea that might help promote GDI in your local area. What if you went to your local church and told the pastor that you will donate $5 per person that signs up under the church. The people in the church would either tell the pastor, email, or call you and say they signed up because of the pastor then you would give $5 per person that signs up to the church. If 5 people sign up with that church you would get a $100 bonus and $25 of it would go to the church, so you get $75 profit. PLUS they are in your downline, and you are also "donating" to the church. You could order the business cards from GDI before you do this, then when everyone is leaving the church you or the pastor could hand a business card out to everyone.. The only concerns I could think of is: If you only get 4 people to sign up, you may have to put $20 out of your own pocket to the church.. But hopefully you would get 1 more person from somewhere else. The other concern is the pastor may not want to add your business to the end of the sermon. But hey, it couldnt hurt to ask, right? I hope you get the general idea of this concept. Post and tell me if someone has already tried this, or what they think of the idea. I would love to hear some feedback.

P.S. When I say sign up, I mean they have to go beyond the 7 day trial to be sure you are eligible for the bonus.
5  .WS/GDI Discussion / New Member? / Re: Welcome To All New Members! on: October 08, 2006, 03:29:27 AM
Hey everyone. I am not new, I have been around for  a year, but this is actually my first post to the forums -.-
My name is Brandon Davis, I live in California. I am 18 years old.. I love GDI. I havent been real active in GDI since the last month. I ordered the buisness cards (I got them in 2 days ago and they look awesome!), I ordered 10 DVDs which I got in the mail about 4 days ago, and I have been using myspace to promote GDI. Since I really havent used the buisness cards or DVDs yet, I just want to say that myspace works pretty good. I also started using google adwords for about a day, and I have already had a few hits, but no sign ups yet. As you can see I would like to use GDI in the long run. I am currently working hard to expand my downline.

Good luck to all.
To your success,
Brandon Davis
