A lot of people over-do the process of advertising. Although it's fun to come up with creative new ways to advertise GDI...remember that the training manual that GDI provides to us, once we sign up is what they are recommending. That's what the *beginners of GDI* were using before most of us came along. And guess what? It worked, didn't it? If you haven't yet used their manual for your ideas in marketing this wonderful business....you should try it. Find it at http://website.ws/home/wealthguideIf you have used it, without luck...think about how you became aware of GDI. The first time you opened that email or talked to the person who referred you....how did you first hear about it? Answer that question...and that's probably going to be about your best bet too. Of course...if you want to get results almost everytime, you should just think about cold calling some prospects & talking to people. That's the most effective way of advertising just about anything. The bottom line: Think Back to BasicsThanks for listening...well...reading!

Exactly! The reason for GDI isn't just to offer domain hosting for people....but to offer them a way to profit from them. Sure, you can be involved in many different affilate programs where you post a banner and they will offer you part of a sale, but that's not *residual* income. That's what's so great about GDI....the opportunity to make a real, residual income! That's what it's all about. Kyra

That's a really great letter Norma. You did a really great job writing it through. Although...what are your means? I mean...are you only sending this letter to 9 of your neighbors so that the 10 of you guys can each share the $1 a month expense to keep it up? How are you planning on making that work? Kyra

.WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Spam Policy

As long as you are purchasing *leads* from a decent company, GDI can't blame you for *spamming*. When I say decent, I mean that these leads have like email address, first and last names, phone numbers, mailing addresses, IP addresses and request dates. As long as you have all of that information for ALL of your leads...and you are in compliant with the SPAM laws...you provide your mailing address (can be a PO Box) and a way to remove their email from BOTH your emails & GDI's invite system, than there's no way that you can get *in trouble* for SPAM. Just make sure that you are compliant with ALL of the laws. You have to be responsible about it. If you aren't, not only will you lose your capabilities with GDI, but also you can be fined some SERIOUS cash for spamming. So...be careful! Kyra

I just wanted to add that, as long as you're doing everything that you can possibly be doing, you know, getting the word out, handing out business cards, flyers, calling all of your friends...whatever methods you're using....it will pay off. Sometimes it's slow, and you have to remember that no...not everyone will be interested. But there WILL be people who are. Maybe consider another approach to what you're marketing. Are you only telling people about the opportunity to make money? Or are you explaining to them all of the cool benefits there are to having a webpage? Try both approaches....don't just only promote one or the other. And don't let anyone tell you that it's not worth it or it won't go anywhere. All of us here are in GDI, and we're all LIVING PROOF that it's going somewhere. People ARE going to be skeptical...there are a lot of *schemes* out there. You just have to show them there's nothing to worry about. There's no risk. There's no "blowing tons of money". It's an affordable program. Just $10 a month! I know just about everyone wastes $10 a month....because it's affordable! So...the point is...it will work! So don't give up! GDI is long-term....not short-term! Good luck to everyone! Kyra

I, also, would like to welcome ALL of the new GDI members! My name is Kyra & I have been in GDI since May 2005. I reside in Hampton, Virginia. I am a stay-at-home mom to my 2 year old little girl. We are also expecting #2 here in another couple of weeks! I'm very excited about GDI...even still. I know it's going to revolutionize the internet & I definitely want to be there for it. I'm in GDI for the long-run! Yes...some days we all can get frustrated and feel like we're not doing enough...but as long as you're doing what you can and telling as many people about it as you can...it will pay off. Don't give up!Take care & good luck to everyone in their successes! Kyra
