Hi to all Wise Clever Ones,
Urgent help is needed here.
My business, that I have just started takes input from my website.
Because GDI was reasonably priced and offered so much extra I thought I was doing the right thing by signing up here a few months ago. Website built, finally resolved after a few prob's, no worries.... I thought.
However my site has a form that needs to be filled in by anybody that makes a purchase. It is not your usual form whereby the submitter then qualifies for all sorts of crap from any direction available to an autoresponder, it is a form that I need the answers from in order to send them the product they have just bought, it cannot be sent to an autoresponder.
This form consists of name/address/email/phone and other, input boxes, (and there are seven of them that need completing),
also, radio buttons to indicate choices and finally a text box.
I need all this info delivered to me in order to do the work. However when the Submit button is actioned it simply opens up Outlook email creation and does not send me the form nor the results of the form.
I am now desperate. I have enquired at support and they inform me that Frontpage Extensions are not installed, so thats one method down the tubes.
Any suggestions to resolve this problem would make me eternally grateful, in fact so grateful that the problem solver that gets the form working I will GIVE them Option 2 from the Options page on my site.
I guess now you have to go there to find out what it's all about. Unfortunately you will not be able to access the form but you can at least see what you could get if you solve the problem so go to
www.familytreesandbranches.ws

Grateful thanks in anticipation,
Colin.

Happy New Year to one and all,

I finally managed to get my new website up and running.
(I just wish I could get my first one working properly)
For those that have a website it may be of some help to
you in getting your site noticed.
It's O.K. having a site, I thought to myself, but perhaps it
needs some Traffic running over it. This site is meant to
address that problem to a certain degree.
Take a look and let me know what you think,

Luck and prosperity to all,
Colin.

Hi Matthew,
Just had a quick look and I think you need a little more work here. I don't know if you scrolled to the bottom of your page, I suggest you get rid of the repetitiveness down there. I didn't get round to checking any links you have there, the repetition was enough for me to exit pronto.
Sorry m8, honesty is the best policy as they say.
Good luck,
COLIN.

Hi Rob,
Viewed your site. Really good to look at, sufficient info, colourful and works well..........apart from that annoying instant buzz that lands itself right over the navigation bar.
Also Christian Bookstore page took an age to fully download and then all the pics were nice little red crosses in a box.(that could be my computer though,.....similar to my head.....short of a plug-in).
Otherwise great stuff..keep up the good work.
Regards, Colin.

Hey Colin!

Well, it's 7:27 am here and I may see a bit wrong, sipping my first coffee and having my eyes more closed then opened, but would you please be so kind and explain to me what looks so UNPROFESSIONAL on your sites?

For me they both appear great and you have just enough info there for one making business ... And this is all about isn't it?

Now, you've resolved the problems you appearantly had and made these two sites and from this point you have to boldly go further. In a time you'll learn more and more and your sites will look even more professional.

Oh, hey, and good morning as I'm seing you're online now!!!

Have a great day!

Tatjana

Thankyou for having a look at my sites Tatjana and your positive review. I suppose I'm perhaps too much of a perfectionist and think that things could be better.
However I'll still be working on them and hopefully will become more positive as time goes on.
(Sorry I never caught you on line by the way.)

Regards Colin.

Fantastic Chip,
With regard to your reply to my last post, and your helpfulness(is that a word),
Having been in contact with support over the past two months regarding both my site and the one I did for my downline one and only member, things have finally come to fruition.
O.K. fair enough, it took longer than the 24 to 48 hours they originally said it would take to resolve, and I may have misread hours for days but what the hell it's there eventually and proves that DOT WSworks.
Not only but also I still stand by my original post that I wish I was so clever as the rest of the guys on here are, and my sites (http://www.thewealthwizard.ws ) and (http://www.familytreesandbranches.ws ) even looked half as professional as the majority of sites do on here (some are fantastic) I would be earning enough to live on.
Brilliant,..... you people, I learned a tremendous amount from this forum and will indeed tell my downlineists (all of 2 now apparently) to visit this place.
I am over the moon that my sites have finally resolved and no matter to me how rubbish they are I would accept all critiscsms(that took some spelling) and, go for the throat, no hanging back, saying, ' oh perhaps it's O.K.' tell me it's rubbish or tell me it's 'iffy'. All contributions are gratefully received. Give me your worst.
Many thanks to one and all with the help you have offered and donated totally free of charge,........and I'll be back.
Regards, Colin.
9  .WS/GDI Discussion / New Member? / Re-Welcome To All New Members! on: October 02, 2005, 08:18:08 PM
Hi Everybody,
I too am a new 3 day old member, so imagine my excitement when I came to the end of a session perusing this site and trying to figure out how everything works about half way through my second day, when on checking the hit log I discovered I'd had 20 hits. This included one sign up (that made me fall off the chair), who had visited about 5 times with 3 disconections I believe. Then there were another two who had viewed the movie but not signed up yet. Great excitement.......
until I discovered it was me and I now send myself e-mails promoting GDI to myself apparently. So at least you get a good laugh on here as well.
Regards, Colin.
