Welcome, Ronnie!!

Have you talked with your upline sponsor yet? If not, I encourage you to contact him/her and if you can not reach this person then go on to the next sponsor. You should have 5 upline sponsors listed in your back office.  Please share your goals with them and together you can devise a marketing plan to help you reach your goals.

Also, I encourage you to check out each area of your back office thoroughly.  You will find most of your answers there.

There are many tips and suggestions posted by members in this forum. Check out the marketing section!!

Wishing you top success!!
All my best,
Norma  :o

Hi Ronnie,

You have made the right choice with GDI. I am marketing and training consultant for several networking companies in the Philippines and having been exposed to the industry, I tell you GDI will surely fly.

Some tips that may be able to help you grow your business with GDI:

1. Set your mind to do the GDI business no matter what. This will condition your mind in thinking of the business all the time. Treat the business as if  it's your very own. In fact one way or the other it is.

2. Spend time listing down all the people you know that you will invite. REMEMBER: Do not pre-judge a person thinking that no this person will not like this... it is not his or her cup of tea. this is the common mistake most people commit. TALK TO AND INVITE EVERYONE YOU KNOW. I tell you you will be surprised that some people you think will not like it indeed will.

3. This is a numbers game kind of business, Ronnie. The more people you invite or talk to about the business the better your chances of increasing your network.

4. Never be discouraged! If you talk or invite someone that spurts out negative things about the business or what you are doing. Simply thank him for his or her time and continue with the next person in your list. REMEBER: Stay away from Dream Stealers - This are the people who says nothing but negative things about almost anything. This people will not make you rich.

5. Be patient but act fast. This business can be developed in different time frames depending on the amount of time you devote on it. If your working some main line job, do it in your spare time. but as long as you continue to do it, it will surely flourish.

6. Yes do the flyer distribution. But also do the business card. GDI offers a customized business card for sale on the site. Giving out biz cards will give people the impression that you actually are serious with the business. If you have other business cards in line with what you are doing now, give also the GDI business with an introduction like... "but here's another business that I do that will surely give me the kind of money I have always dreamed of.." I'm sure you can do better than my line suggestion.

7. And finally, don't skip a day without doing GDI. A business card handed out to somebody you meet or calling a friend to introduce him to the business or sneding out invitations...

VERY IMPORTANT: ALWAYS ALWAYS TALK TO OR SEND A PERSON EMAIL AND GIVE A AN EXCITING NOTICE THAT YOU WILL SEND HIM OR HER ANOTHER EMAIL THAT WILL SURELY CHANGE HIS OR HER LIFE. THIS WAY THAT PERSON WILL NOT BE SURPRISED BY THE INVITSTION EMAIL THINKING IT'S A SPAM.

DON'T GIVE TOO MUCH INFORMATION WHEN YOU INTRODUCE THE BUSINESS. LET THE VIDEO SPEAK FOR ITSELF.

God Bless you Ronnie.

Ricky/Ignacio

Great letter Norma...I'm going over to use it right now!   :)

P.S. It is quite possible that people in your downline team don't know where the forum is.  I would suggest a short couple of sentences in your letter saying where to locate it in the Back-Office.

Off I go...

Thank you, Doug!! You made a very good point about some not knowing where to find the GDI Forum.

I always send new members in my team a letter encouraging them to explore their back office thoroughly at the very beginning.  It is so important they understand their own office before anything else. In that letter I actually list the catagories in order so they can check each one off as they go through.

All my best,

Awesome as always Norma. :)

I send my new people a "welcome packet" which includes this:

I recommend that EVERYONE become familiar with and actively participate in the GDI Forum (I do!), as it's the best place to go not only to talk with other successful longterm and new members alike, but to get ideas on MARKETING, TEAM BUILDING, WEBSITE BUILDING, AND MUCH MUCH MORE! It's also a great place to go with your questions, as there are always a number of people there, no matter what time of day or night, who can immediately respond to you if there's something urgent you can't figure out, or it you're just interested in getting a variety of people's opinions. Once you've registered your username for the forum (go to http://website.ws/members and then look on the tabs at the left -- you'll see the "forum" listed, which will prompt you initially to choose a name), you can access the forum directly by going to http://talk.ws.  You won't have to log in through your member area each time.

One of the best ways to convince people this is a legitimate business opportunity is by being consistant. This is accomplished by keeping our name and marketing tools in front of the public on a continous basis.  Once they realize we aren't going away like all the other fly by night businesses many will start paying more attention to our ads, flyers and business cards.

Brand Spanking New!

JNapier you are awesome. You are helpful. I pray that this business will allow you to accomplish your goals for the homeless and helpless. Thank you for the letter! Thank you for the encouragement!

But, what is the back office? Where is the back office? Have I been to the back office and didn't know I was there? I have sent my sponsor some questions but he is half a world away (Australia). He sent me a nice follow up letter. Do we design our own letters? I have 3 invites who have viewed the video. What do I do now?  HEEELLLLPPPPP!

Thank you all! ?

I am in the same boat as you.  I am confused and do not know how to follow up properly to the individuals who have viewed my site.  I have invited 70 people but I am not getting a response other than 5 viewing the flash presentation.  Help what do I do, any suggestions for a new comer?

As another brand new member, I too am having "brain overload" and I am in a state of confusion concerning what to do next.  I have emailed all my 5 upline members but have not had a single reply - they are all half a world away.  I have emailed my immediate upline referrer and had replies prior to signing up, but now that I have signed everyone has disappeared.   I want information  NOW!

Is there anyone out there that has actually got a system for their new sign ups to follow?  I would be interested to know.    :P

I appreciate any specific help you are able to give - I am trying my best to read everything and work out my backroom etc.

Thank you all
Ciao for now

I'm also a new member..I just jumped in feet first, not knowing what the heck I'm doing. I also cannot reach my upline. I think their dead, but here's what I did.

I signed up for business cards, I signed up for leads, (don't have too many friends and my family is full of dream busters). I received about 25 auto responses telling me that some of my leads watched the flash. So I IMMEDIATELY called them back. I had one lead thank me and said he may sign up just because I responded by phone instead of E-Mail. If I get their voice mail I leave a short message thanking them and leave my contact info., and today I got my first downline signup. HORRAY!!!!
I can't wait to get my cards to start passing them around, I also bring up GDI to everyone I talk to, ie..bank tellers, cashiers, postal workers, etc...
I'm actually looking forward to the future now...and I'll leave you with my favorate quote from Sister Act 2, "If you want to be somebody, If you want to go somewhere, you'd better wake up and pay attention."

Bye all,
Ernest

Hi All,

Read, read, and read again this is how I find answers to the many questions I have as a new GDI member. This forum and the helpful members who have been around awhile, and are gracious enough to share their insights is one of the fastest ways to find information and advice about this great opportunity.

I am really expecting GDI to be my favorite marketing tool of the many, many offers and systems on the net. Everyone has such a "Team Spirit" how can a newbie help but get excited.

Thanks to JNapier for the letter to direct new members to this great forum. Hope you don't mind my passing it along to my referrals.
Well off I go to find some more great information.
All the Best,
Russ ;)

Some tips that may be able to help you grow your business with GDI:

1. Set your mind to do the GDI business no matter what. This will condition your mind in thinking of the business all the time. Treat the business as if  it's your very own. In fact one way or the other it is.

Ricky/Ignacio

Thanks for these tips Ricky!

Fuynny also that you're closest friends / family members are the first ones who turn you down...  I had much more luck with people I don't know than those who are close to me. ;)

How can contact my sponsor and  also when am I going to to verify?

S'alafia ni? Ile nko? Awon nko? Ini Olorisha Jaap "Odebunmi" Verduijn, omo Oshoosi. Well, I guess I'd better switch to English, since my Yoruba isn't exactly perfect (sad grin)! For those who are even less fluent in Yoruba than myself: what I wrote was inquiring after his health, and whether his House and Family are alright, followed by the info that I am a priest of Oshoosi.

As for your questions, Oladimeji, you can contact your sponsor by email which is, or at least should be, available via your GDI back-office under "Upline". The sending of the verification forms... well, I'd take care of that as soon as possible if I were you, because in order to get your commission for anyone who signs up under you, you must be verified.

Hope this helps. Odabo!

I have a few questions that I was hoping some of you expert could answer. If you have some time I would appreciate your input.

I assume some of you are in fact millionaires, I want to learn from the best so I direct my questions to you...

Is there a specific strategy to placing reps in my downline?
Is there a form of matrix that will generate the most money the fastest?
Did you build your 1st level 5 across or 10? Or is it really that important?
What kind of time frame am I looking at if I want to make $2500 per month in residual income?
Anyone out there get a check for $20,000 or more in one month?
After 5 levels, does my matrix fall apart or end? Do I have to keep recruiting in say four years from now?

I just want to hear from the pro's on these questions everyone. No Newbies, you and I are here to learn.

Thanks everyone,
Chase

If you have 150 hits in your logs, you're doing well... The down line will naturally come.

After 7 days you will automatically be charged $10 from the preferred banking institution at the time you joined GDI. You can recruit new affiliates within the 7 day trial and make money within the first week!.. I look forward to seeing you around the place, and best of luck with your new GDI business!  ;)

Documentation:
I uploaded the requested documentation via the requested email address and requested that they email a confirmation of receipt. A couple of hours later, I get ANOTHER email from a completely different email saying send the documentation or I don't get paid this month. I replied to that one, sending a second set of documents. They still don't reply. there is no status ID on my account that I can find to say that my documentation is received and approved.

I'm in the UK and frankly, I don't see why I should waste a transatlantic phone call on people who can't even be bothered to acknowledge an email which has my passport details attached.

Any suggestions? I expected better service from an established company like GDI. Surely a status ID could be added to your account to show that your documents are received.

Jaap, you should first understand GDI is a foundation that you create a business at and launch it to the world. Your business is based on what you have a passion for. GDI is not a business, no it is a foundation to build a solid business from.

To get help you must contact your direct sponsor and upline. If all fails that way then contact me day or night. PLus get over to our members area and watch all the training videos plus attend the live weekly webinars. There are recordings of past webinars which are very helpful.

You have to master navigation within GDI and have passionate hands on daily support. This is how we do it right the first time. The forum are wonderful for technical questions and bonding with other GDI family.

You can gain much knowledge first with the one who introduced you to GDI. Lots of people miss this important step. After you have no luck with getting the support required to build from GDI. Then you can find one of us for support the right way.

Hey, the replica sites are great to place as a temp page. Yet, you must create your one blog for interaction. That is a must now that people are looking for someone who can coach them in creating real lifestyles as only a few of us have been blessed to have.

Any way you look at GDI. This is not an overnight get rich place. There is nor will ever be such a place. The only way your going to bet more GDI members is to create usable content and share it on that blog of yours. Leave out all that junk for ads, pitch pages. That doesn't work and will keep positive people away. You will spend without every realizing growth for that business of yours.

Just take a step back. Start today and get over to our great video tutorials. Then every week get into our Webinars. That is the great way to start and allows you to also send multiple messages to your sponsor and upline for the required hands on support they should be giving you from day one.

Do not give up on GDI. IF your upline never supports you no worries. We are a strong family within GDI. No one gets left alone and will have all the support for life required to make this work. Just contact me anytime day or night and we will see what is going on. Either way you will be in the right place doing some positive activity that will help you learn to master navigation within GDI.

How else would you be able to coach new members we bring to your group if you do not master navigation at GDI?

Look forward to hearing from you soon Jaap.

Please make sure everyone in your Downline & Upline are Members of the Forum.

It's easy: just send an email to your Downline requesting they go to their Member
area and register at the GDI Forum link. The email, automatically, goes to your Upline.

Also, encourage Team Members to read over all the Topics/Posts and, take action
by becoming a part of the .WS Community via, their own Posts.
