Title: Goodness--Where Do I start? Part 2
Post by: gdi on July 03, 2005, 12:14:33 PM
To "understanding" this is supposed to be, and is, going to be enjoyable, is a choice!

Correct, how you "grow" your .WS business and how you "feel" about what you are doing is TOTALLY up to you. The product is in place, the compensation structure is known and now it is up you as to HOW you "execute" your responsibilities for success.

All too often, we are desirous of a "recipe" for "how to" be successful, make money, etc.  BORING and UNREAListic!

First, those "success-in-a-box" and "fast-results" programs are generally "poppycock". You know it, I know it and most everyone knows the adage--"There is no such thing as a 'free' lunch" ! You have shown you "qualify" for .WS because of your very involvement and may have "long-term goals" that can be met, at least in part (or large measure) by your .WS efforts.

Now, for the "clincher":  DO what you like & like what you DO!

Why is the "clincher" so important?    Simply, it is what drives you consciously,  subconsciously and either gives you the "edge" for success or, you go "over the edge"
and lose sight of your "mission",  lose interest and de-activate--first within yourself, then to those around YOU. Just remember, that too, is a choice! YOUR choice.

So where does that leave us? This is really all about "attitude", isn't it. The attitude that you believe in yourself, the .WS product, the "vision" and are unwavering without constantly having to re-affirm your initial "commitment".

Sure we all have ups and downs, good days and some not-so-good, etc. but, .WS is an opportunity with depth, creativity and really is FUN & EXCITING!  Through all the up/down, good/bad,etc. it is still going to be there day in and day out--somewhat comforting isn't it?!

I'll bet you are wondering when I am going to get to the "numbered" list of TO DOs. Not going to happen. Can't do it.
This is not recipe or  "punchlist" material.....................

What I can tell you is you have taken the toughest step, by making a decision as to how you wish to spend a good portion of "your" time. Put that decision to a "good" purpose...HOW, you say?! Each and every day you will be confronted with the "chance" to "spread" the word about .WS. Some will get it, some will not--nothing new there, eh?! More importantly, let your mind go with thoughts and ideas as to how you can "spread" the message and always keep in mind--excitement is "contagious" so start "infecting" others with the .WS "bug".

As we all know exercise is good!  We usually think of it in terms of physical, but what about a "daily" mental exercise program--using the .WS opportunity as your focal point?!

Think about "slogans", "sigs", headlines, eye-catching phrases, etc. Then "test" different ones in various places and "track" the results. Write thoughts down as they come to you and re-visit them later. Come to think of it you and I each have our own "MASTER MIND"--our subconscious--keep active with your thoughts and watch what else comes to you!

In closing, "affirmations" are helpful to keep us on track. Allows us to confront rejection, "slow" times, keep perspective and so much more. From time to time, you will have thoughts that "reinforce" your commitment to .WS. Write them down for yourself and, also "share" them with me and YOUR team members.  Remember, WE are in this together and one has to be willing "to give, to get"!! ...And oh, how we are going to get:  "results"!

Thank you for being a part of WebSites, for LIFE~!

Thank you Chip,

This information has been most inspirational and I will put it to the best of use.  Appreciate the great leadership and look forward to more inspiring thoughts.  I've found in any business it takes a good leader to build a business, but a grater leader to teach and duplicate a system!

                                                                                Thanks Again,
                                                                                    Ed Bartlett

Many people worry about sharing money-making ideas with others.

GDI/WS gives you something very tangible in the form of a very user-friendly web site product.

A web site anyone can use for any thing. Small business owners are a perfect target market for this, and really,
this is one of the simplest, easy to set-up web building and hosting systems I have ever seen that gives someone
their OWN domain name and email accounts!

So, feel good about what you are sharing.

And feel GREAT when sharing creates a great income for you and for others.

An Affirmation to Share:

"I give thanks for prosperous financial transactions now in which all concerned are satisfied, prospered and blessed."

Happy Marketing Everyone!

Gayanna

HI friends;

We have spent a ton of money on leads, we have advertised and tried to do all that we were told to do to be successful.  Now we did start up with signing up 21 people in 3 weeks and then out of nowhere most have just quit. I too wanted to quit but decided not to.  I am not a whining but I sure could use some help to build our business.  If any of you could give me some advise to where do I start?  Thanks a ton.

I don't think it is a matter of whining as much as it is a matter or mentors. Every good network marketing company is involved in the training of their people, and having the heavy hitters shed light on some of the issues you come across running your business. In the end it is up to you and you only.  What I see more and more on these forums is that new signups are not finding the support they are looking for to start their business. I don't think they are asking for the 1,2, 3 steps as much as picking the brains of the successful ones in this business. I don't think that is too much to ask, since without people in your downline you will have no success above them.  When you help the people below you to be confident, they become more productive and more productive = a better downline! I  know since I joined I got bombarded with people selling other products to help you get your GDI business up and going. Also never heard anything from my upline. I have found a few key people here who are truely willing to help you out and share insights! Due to my experience I vow to lead my downline in a totally different way! I want to encourage and help them build their business! Now that doesn't mean DOING their business for them but I don't mind sharing my knowledge or experiences.  I think many people become frustrated with their uplines but then you have to consider not everyone is a leader, so not everyone will be successful in this business. I think you have to know how to lead to be successful!  Just my opinion!

I agree with you T Johnson2 I have done a lot of reading in the forum. Some times
one might get a answer to a question in a follow up manner, but far to many times
you see questions and questions and questions. Some times you can read all the info
in a section and not find your answer. :'( you can't move a head with unanswered
questions. It seems that no one that has made it big reads what the newbi has to say
any more. I am also trying to learn as much as I can so that I will be able to help my down
line or anyone that I can. I don't want anyone to hold my hand I only want answers to
a few good questions.

I'am back almost a month later. I have found that most of the time if the question
you ask is not answered, most of the time someone else has asked it, and it is somewhere
else waiting for us to read about it. We must do our home work. With over 9213 Posts
in the forum your answer is here somewhere.  ;)
You know what being in a hurry can get you :'(  Slow down you will get there in good time.
Our leaders have more to do then answer the same questions over and over, because we are
in a rush for what we want now. Take a deep breath, and don't forget we are here to help
one another. :)

The forum is here to help you find your anwser. All you have to do is read through the forum.
When I first started thats the first thing I went through is the Forum.
It took me couple of days to read it. It was worth it. I needed help I founded it here.

It's takes time and effort to grow your business. You have to have a marketing plan.

How much work can you put in your business?

Set up a goal sheet.

Write down your daily activties.

Create your website.

The list goes on.

Hey everyone,

I agree with all that you guys have said especially the inspiring message from Chip.  I believe GDI is a choice.  A choice to be successful or not.  A choice to share this with people or not.  A choice to get money or not.  The hardest part is getting started.  Once you have begun, use your determination to drive you past rejections and push towards your goals.  If you fail and chances are you will, then remember that you can fail a thousand times but if you succeed at a thousand and one, then are you still a failure?  Learn to fail not just succeed and learn to use trial and error to continue moving forward.  In the end, those failures help you become successful.  There are so many formulas to help make GDI work for you but the best is the one you create.  Your imagination can create anything and it is up to you to bring it into reality.  This is my insight and I hope it inspires others as I was inspired by all of you.

If you need any help with your GDI business, simply PM me to share ideas and information.

Thanks,

Johnny
