Title: GDI Made Easy
Post by: RodB on June 23, 2005, 07:43:03 AM
FWIW here is my GDI .ws site. I hope you guys benefit out of this. It's about succeeding at the GDI business and what to do. It contains all sorts of information on how to use the website builder, how to get started with your email, and where to get good leads. The only thing I ask is that you do not copy it word for word or plagiarise my code. This is my work and is here to help. Remember search engines penalise duplicate content heavily so please co-operate on this. Many thanks and I hope this helps you to your dreams. Rod

Hi Rod,

I saw your web site and was just awestruck at the amount of information you had assembled!  I was in the middle of emailing you to ask permission to share your link with my downline, and decided to come here first and I see you are so generously sharing your information for all.  Thank you so much for this wonderful resource!  I will be sure to share it with my team and encourage them to share it with their new signups as well.

Terrific job! ;D

Rod,

Your site is very informative and provides a great service to those new to GDI.  My question for anyone that knows the answer is why isn't the following information provided to us by GDI?  If a person doesn't make it to your site, where are they going to find this info?  Am I missing something?

It is there but you have to look for it which is why I tried to assemble it into a logical order on my site. Its pretty hard to look for something you don't know exists. For the same reason I built my first site to showcase what can be done with the site builder so you can see the power of this product.

Well GDI made Easy just got a bit better.

I have seriously upgraded the examples and the GDI content sections with an extra 9 pages of carefully sorted examples for you to use. This after being inundated with requests for more examples. I also added a new FAQ section, the HTML for the testimonials and the new Flash Testimonial Movie plus a complete new image section. Thanks for all the contributions.

Thank you also to all the people who had nice things to say in our guest book. I appreciate the comments :)

Hope this helps and good hunting - Rod ;D

Thanks Rod :)

Your website is well designed and has so much information on it
and when we get new members we want them to get the
best training so that they can use the system the same way that
we are, and your website explains everything about GDI... I refer
to my downline your website because it makes sense.

For the people that just got into GDI and has no internet or affiliate
business experience it informs them, when I got into GDI I had no
training site like yours, I learned everything on my own so good job.

Yes I built this site with the site builder and then modified it to the current form. I collected the information from a miriad of places to try and make it easy for our downline. :) You are welcome to take the data off the site. Thats what its there for.

I have been working on GDI-made-easy (http://www.gdi-made-easy.ws/) again.

Based on the requests made in the Marketing Forum at http://talk.ws/index.php?topic=1596.15;viewResults and numerous requests for instructions for the site builder, I have tried
to provide the answers our GDI members are looking for.

Well we have added four pages of instructions on how to use GDI's site builder 3
and two extra pages on how to promote your site and what internet marketing is
about.

Go check it out - enjoy and go build your GDI business (http://www.gdi-made-easy.ws/images/smilies/eating.gif)

RodB,

Hey I really like your site I wonder how LONG did it take you and if there is a way that I can duplicate it or something because the site that I have sofar is the www.Freedom.ws/pathway1 which is cool don't get me wrong.

But it doesn't reflect me as I would really like to Express the truth of GDI. I am in the process of doing a whole new site with plenty of links ans pics and some audio.

Tell you the truth though I have no idea where to start and how much every thing is going to cist when I am
done customizing my site.

All I know is that yours is cool, professional and I would like something like that.

Well I have been working  away again and beefed up GDI Made Easy once again. ( http://www.gdi-made-easy.ws ). :o

I just added:-

1)A utilities section to help with automation.
2)What to do if you never hear from your upline - a very common problem.
3)Our free 13 email course on how to fire your GDI business up virtually for free!

I am most excited about the third item as many of you will find it useful. It was designed to be very cost conscious and at the end of 13 emails you will have spent from $0 to $50 to get you on the road. Go take a look and I hope it fills another void. Most of all you are encouraged to save the emails and send them to your own downline.

All the very best
RodB

Stanley. - I guess the fact that your upline sucks is no fault of your own. I know well what it is like to start with expectations and then have them dashed. I built GDI made easy to help my own downline because I believe in the system and having a good support site is the easiest way to support them. If anyone else gets benefit from it thats fine by me. I started on the net in 1996. In 1998 I was asked by Jim Wilson from Search Engine Forums to join SEF as a moderator. In those days the internet was a help anybody type thing. Hundreds of people helped me without asking for anything in return. I guess I am still old school??

I just added the multilanguage URLS and the Traffic Exchange support pages as a result of requests.  You will find the URL's for your site for German, French, Spanish, Portugese, Japanese, Chinese and Korean.

Also for the guys with no experience of Search engine submission there are two new pages on generating traffic with Traffic Exchanges which may be of interest.

Hope this helps too! To all of you who have emailed asking for these additional pages - I am sorry it has taken a while to get these pages done.  :-[

Well Rod, it looks like you've helped out quite a few people!  So I'll just put my 2-cents in here...thanks!  I was just about to push the "Cancel" button and stop banging my head against my keyboard, when I stumbled upon your posts.  I have to admit that I've grown weary of all the marketing schemes that are offered on the internet.  It seems that the only people making money are the ones that sell the big products on how to make money.  (I've bought into quite a few!)  They all claim they'll show you what they did to make money, but only end up offering more products to buy from them.  No one showed me *how*, until now.  You really got my creative juices flowing again.  Thank you again!

Hi Rob,

I am a new GDI'er.  Your sight is fantatstic!  You are nearing your first anniversary as a GDI rep yourself.  Are you creating significant income with GDI?  What methods are working for you?  I am using the your site and the forum to increase my computer/internet literacy so I really appreciate what you have done.

I have decided to initially seek out friends and aquaintences of like mind (i.e. those who really want extra monthly income without having to spend large amounts of time and $$$ to get it).  Don't know what my results will will be but I'm giving it a shot.

Rob, I have purchased 3 domains over the past month. If a prospect goes to www.my.ws then signs up, which of those domains is he/she assigned to?  I only have one username so where does that prospect get established?  I am a little confused about this (I am probably not the only one).

Hi,

Thanks for the kind words :)
Your prospect is assigned to your ID not your website.

Hi my name is William and I have been learning so much from your website.  It has so much information for newbies. I really like to idea of helping other GDI members especially the new ones that sign up.   Well I decided that I am planing to start something in the same subject.  I will soon have a section in my website to help the spanish community learn more about GDI.  I have notice alot of people in the spanish community asking for help.   If you could give me some ideas I will trully appreciate it.   Take care and keep up the good work.

Rod

Can you tell me how to insert the "ticket movie" into my own website?

Thanks in advance, Epi

Hi Epi,

You should be able to copy the code off the site, change your USERID to yours and paste it straight into the website builder.
You must be in HTML mode to do this. Select the HTML tab at the bottom of the editor page.

In its simplest form GDI provides you with a personal website which is a must have in this day and age. The website can be on any topic you can think of and it comes with free custom email as well. Secondly it provides you with a second income on a continuous basis to beef up your current monthly earnings.

Hi Rod, have just started with GDI and found your site awesome. Just a question you or someone may be able to answer. In relation to the international sites, if one joins but does not speak English or understands very little, how do they go about building a web page?? Is the web builder available in different languages?

Since you are so knowledgeable maybe you can help me with my email.  Why is it asking for IMAP or POP3 and then wanting to know who my isp is and having to enter all of that info?  When I go to websites and try to send an email and have all of that come up I leave because it frustrates me.  Can I prevent this from happening?    Also now when I click on the email link and try to send it gives me an error message.  Why am I havng so many problems with email.  I'm exicted about my website and now am thinking of quitting the whole thing.  I have published my website yet.  If you need me to so you can click on it and tell me what the problem is I will.  I appreciate any help you can give me.

Hi Rod Beaumont!

You are creative with a missing piece GDI has tried to market online, but you have succeeded. All GDI Affiliates MUST use your web site to communicate to "newbies" during the 7-Day Trial Period. Your GDI training is excellent for those sign ups who are customers of GDI as well as those who are "Affiliates" wanting to make commissions in the MLM global communuity.

I will use it and give you full credit for the design of the web site when I'm working online and with my GDI team 'soup5825' and newbies to my downline, too. First, I will get completely familar with the content of "GDI Made Easy" web site, and then, pass on the network marketing to my GDI team -- soup5825. This kind of GDI Training is essential for this service business to recruit newbies/customers worldwide to the GDI and the GDI Affiliate Programs. If they don't understand the product and services offered, customers will not buy through network marketing of GDI.

Keep up the creativity, Rod.  :D

Sincerely,
Robert Campbell

Hi my name is Filo

I am kind of new to GDI but tried to build my website with your GDI made easy tutorial.

I must say it has helped me to understand a lot while reading your guide and was amazed at myself that its so easy.

I always wondered how on earth am I meant to add html code or a meta tag to my website and after reading in your tutorial it just clicked.

I thought I will never get it but with your helpful page it was explained so well.

I have not added any of my html codes or meta tags yet but surely during the week i will start adding some of them and hope i will do it right.

A big up

to Rod and Helga for what they have come up with on GDI made easy!

Hi Everyone,

I am relatively new, I have been a member for a while and was totally lost when coming to set up a website, gee I still haven't got all the info together that I want to put into a website, so it is parked but I will be doing a ton of reading so that I can get the gist of actually setting up a website.

Your website GDI Made Easy tells you every detail of how to do it, so I am really greatful. When I eventually get my website set up I will put in here for everyone to see. I love all the ones I have see todate...brilliant.

Hey Rod,

I just wanted to say I thought you did a great job with your training.
Your site is a great resource for learning how to be successful with
GDI or really any similar opportunity.

The Global Domains International opportunity has lots of potential to
be a great stream of income. I actually setup my new blog on my .ws
to force myself to continue with my GDI subscription. Success doesn't
happen overnight, but if we keep working at it we'll keep moving forward.
