Hello everyone,

I decided to make money online, that's why I developed a website from the town I live in, is called Tamarindo and is located in the northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica (Centralamerica), my goal is to show to the world through videos how Tamarindo Beach Looks.

So basically what i do is to charge the local bussines like restaurants, tour companies, vacation rentals, services, etc to advertise in my website.
I did this beacuse to be honest I'm not very good in getting people to become affiliates to the program of GDI so what I did was to put the banners that GDI provides in order to people can get informed with the flash presentation. So far I only have 4 downline direct and 2 downline in the 2nd level.

GDI was a great experience and I learned a lot working with the GDI website builder.
From not knowing anything about website building to creating my very own Membership Website.

I learned how to manipulate HTML code (Trial and error "lots of errors") but figured it out eventually.

At one point I realized that it was limited, especially if you wanted to block the website or make
it Password protected.

So, I decided to go one step further with GDI, I purchase a second Website from GDI, and forwarded to
another website builder that would allow me to create a membership website.

The experience I gain from the easy to use GDI web builder allowed me to create this website and now I am
offering a membership website that helps people to advertise.

Great start on your website.  I have a suggestion.  Visitors to your website expect the layout of your website to be the same on all pages.  So, I suggest that you consider placing the same design on all 4 pages of your website...that includes the font.  Again, great start.  I look forward to seeing the finished product.

I have been dealing with another firm though I have got back to pushing the domain business for GDI.  I have made a few websites for Global Domains.  Though I got my first sign up through PPC marketing and this website.   http://wealth-guide.ws/Home_Page It is just a simple page I thought though it gets to the point with the good the bad and the ugly.  The one thing that I see from the websites that I am looking at is the fact that some of them take to long to load.  If this is the case then you will get a low score if you are trying to attempt PPC marketing.  Just a thought.  I would appreciate any thoughts on my site as well maybe for SEO or any thoughts to keep people on the page longer to sign up.  Thank you for all your time.

I'm really, really new at this, and thus far a bust! Here's the story so far...

phase1: At first, I used the random replicated site with my domain... I emailed everyone I knew with a note and the link... got a big fat zero!

phse2: I've just completed my first ever custom page (with my own logo) www.myturn.ws (http://www.myturn.ws), Ive registered with a dozen or so social sites and am currently just making friends.

phase3: before I start promoting to my new friends, I ask that you the .ws community please give my site a serious critique... I need your help, I believe that this GDI product will indeed provide me a great income (if only I can get it off the ground)

Visually, your site looks good. I would change the word "expense" to "investment."  That's just a more positive way to presenting the program.  Elmer Wheeler wrote a sales book many years ago in which he said, "Don't sell the steak - sell the sizzle!"  That makes a lot of sense. People want to know what the business can do for them.  You mention some things that I don't have to do, but you don't tell me what I will receive for my $10 investment.  It would be good to mention some of the benefits of the product AND the incredible opportunity to build residual wealth.  Use bullet points without making it too wordy.

I understand what you mean regarding lack of upline support.  Been there - done that! It's no fun and it's hard to build the business by yourself, but it can be done. You have to be the person you would like for your upline to be.  Stay motivated and keep-on-keeping-on!

It has been a while here. I am now what you would call a GDI long termer.
My site has been through quite a few incarnations and I have now settled on this
for a while, seems to be attracting good traffic and is easy to build backlinks to.
Google seems to like it as it has been climbing the rankings after the overhaul.

I just joined GDI a couple of days ago. I really like the concept that they have. This is probably the first Internet based business I actually get and feel is legit. I've checked into many hoping to find a good work at home opportunity so I could stay home for the most part and finish homeschooling our last child. We have already graduated 3.

Anyway, I have a new business that I started that is an airbrush temporary tattoo and face painting business called Razmatattz. So that is the subject of my new website. I put a page on my site to lead people to my GDI business.

I could not believe I was able to get the domain name www.gdiblog.ws . Right now I just have it pointed to the presentation and using www.gdiblog.com as my main website.  I've been in other mlm's and this one looked so easy. I have just been letting it sit for the past 3 months and now starting to promote it. I will be using wordpress as i just now learning it. I always used Frontpage 2003 but need to move on.

So look at www.gdiblog.com and give me some ideas on what would be the best direction to go with it and www.gdiblog.ws .

I myself have used the site builder previously, but prefer to use GDI hosting and building my webpages with Kompozer.
