I think all that stuff is important.. BUT I also think the
training part is even important.. HAVING a training
section so people can self train.. Conference calls...

AND all the tools like resources.. ads, etc.. are
just as important..

I had a hard time selecting just 3 because most
of those things are needed for people who want to
build a business.

At first glance they are all important, but take a step back to not knowing what opt-in is or being able to figure out all by your self how to list your site on search engines and get a good ranking???

So I marked one (1) only  on the pole,... "Support"  be it upline, downline, or on the forum. Its the support of all the special people and thier particular talents they share that make it all work out.

Hello All,

The top three tools are necessary to build your team WIDE and DEEP. My reality is I work a full-time job, married and have two children under the age of three. The is my WHY? When you have a J.O.B. >>> Just Over Broke, there are not enough hours in the day. Time is always the mitigating factor that prohibits activity. With the above-mentioned tools in place, they are working even when you are not. This is worth its weight in gold!  A number of you feel support is an invaluable tool. I would add, you must first have a downline to support in order for it to be effective.  ;D

I totally agree,

The following you need to be successful a postive mental outlook understand GDI Is Business treat it as such.

Be a student of the industry read magazines and books on it and surround yourself around leaders not followers.

Find a good mentor withn GDI ask for their help but as always first use your upline 5 levels deep.

Attend one of the numberous trainings we have available during the week.

Listen to the brand new archived training calls this is invaluable information from leaders within GDI.

Be ready to build your business one relationship at the time and develop leaders over leveraged time.

From my vacation in Richmond back to Hawaii today to continue building momentum with my entire team.

So don't be left behind find out how to be success part time or full time the choice is yours come see how the go- team at GDI is going to show you practical and affordable ways to duplicate!

I also Agree,

In order to be successful you need to be responsible in making sure you do all that GDI requires.

We can not stress how much that this  business is not a get rich quick scheme, you really have to play the role
and do what you can to the Best of your ability. So don't give up find that special upline or partner that will
make you feel at home and very settled in what you're doing.

In short follow the instructions of the Jr., Sr., & Full members of GDI, ask questions, findout what they know because it is
they they have been doing this kind of field of work for a while and it's not likely that they will give the wrong info.

"Learn and Don't be afraid to inquire"

Thanks, Joseph

help you out some kind of way. ;)

Ooh! By the way I'm Joseph. What is your first name?

I hope that your business is doing well and not slow like mines. :(

Don,

You're absolutely right!  Upline support can be very valuable (depending on who that upline is made of) at every stage of the game, especially when you are trying to build your business from the groud up.  Just remember that the lessons you learn from your upline and during your own marketing journey will become the support you later give your own downline.  Only join the programs you would be proud to promote to your best friend and you future downline members.

It would be nice if GDI had several splash pages that we could copy the HTML and put it into our websites. That way the search engines, etc would think it is our page and not just a splash/capture page that is redirected.

Hello,

Of course everyone goes to their warm market first because they think it is a fast and easy way to build a business. This is true ONLY if you know someone in your family or group of friends who are really interested in the product and making additional money from home. Otherwise, it is pointless.

Since I'm an honest person i will say the following: If your upline doesn't know what they are doing, they are useless to you! Some may tell you to sign up at this traffic exchange and that traffic exchange and some may refer you to a site that offers 1,000,000 opt-in leads for a very cheap price.

First of all, the only people that are making money from traffic exchanges are the traffic exchange owners themselves. If all we had to do was sign up at 20 different traffic exchanges in order to reach our financial goals, we would all be millionaires. Stay away from them unless you like to waste your time.

Second of all, do you really believe that someone would give up a million leads that were EFFECTIVE for a cheap price? Absolutely not! Those leads are going to be old or fake and may result in you being reported for spam and losing your GDI privileges. Stay away from cheap leads! If you don't have the money to purchase fresh and targeted leads from a reputable company, then generate your own. Start a newsletter that will build you a subscriber base. Participate in forums filled with business-minded people. Start and test different marketing campaigns.

Find the first-class training and mentorship that you will need in order to market this business so that you can be assisted with the right tools and information.

Before being sunk into a new "marketing plan" or any kind of idea that is said to get your business off the ground, make sure these programs, ideas, etc. have been tested with proven results.

Nicole

All of the "TOOLS" are great...but the most important thing to remember is to "JUST DO IT!"

It is true, that this business is not a get rich quick plan. Of course the potential is exciting, but it will not happen overnight - at least not for us commoners and newbies. I personally started out 3 weeks ago, and have used traffic exchanges so far, but my plan is to spread from there and into lead generating programs. There are some ok listbuilding programs around, but everything becomes old news very fast it seems. The best idea seems to be the personal approach - build a website with your picture and some text and of course links. Disguise the fact, that people will be joining your downline in traffic exchanges and other programs. Offer them a solution to their problems - there seems to be a lot of them out there. Maybe join a team of downline builders.
But anyways - what do I know - I have only been doing this for about 3 weeks. But I will keep on doing it until I find out how to go about earning money. However long it will take me. Maybe only 5 percent make it - then I intend to be one of the 5 percent. Period. Like the previous post mentioned - just do it - daily - and learn.

Morten :-\

Hey everyone,

Reading through this forum I can't believe that "we've" missed the most important thing...and it's not even listed on the poll.

So, I'll share it with you.

It's the "Marketing System" that is the most important.

Our team uses all kinds of different ways to generate traffic, advertising, traffic exchanges, etc.  But really what most people in business that aren't successful are missing is a system that works and will enroll people.

1. Marketing System
2. Lead Generation
3. Teaching and Coaching Your New Members

If you're missing one of the above - you will more than likely NOT succeed.

The best leads in the world are really quite useless if you don't know what to do with them.
The best enroller in the world will never get any kind of growth without helping others.

I've been working with Paul Birdsall now for several years and it's really hard to argue that the "Marketing System" isn't the most important when he consistently scores in the top of the GDI pools every week.

Hoping this will help as well as get you thinking... ;)

Joel

Hello everyone,
I have to agree with Joel.  It is the "Marketing System" that is the most important.  If the system cannot enroll people then it's totally useless and you are wasting alot of your time and hard earned money.  Generating your own leads is also very important because those "targeted leads" are people that are specifically looking at what you have to offer.

I am on Joel Broughton and Paul Birdsall's team and I'm honestly telling you if they did not have such an awesome marketing system to work with and unbelieveable mentoring/training then I would not be here posting today.

I was in another online business before and I didn't have a clue what to do.  I also had no one to mentor me or guide me in the right direction.  My sponsor in that business didn't even return emails.  So what did I do?  I quit.  Not because I didn't think that particular business could work but because it would have cost me alot more time and money to figure out how to make it work.

Whatever your doing you have to make it easy for people to follow the steps you teach them and you want them to see some kind of results as quick as possible.  Often if people aren't getting or seeing any results from the marketing system they are using it won't matter how many people you enroll in a month, you will have to consistently keep enrolling people in order to make any money because your retention rate will be very low. Unless of course, you luck out and find yourself some "heavy hitters". For alot of people seeing is believing and in network marketing the quicker people can see results the more they will believe and have the abiltity to help other people achieve the same results.

This is a great program and if it's not working for you, then you need to find out why.  Forums are great for that because you can learn from people that are already experiencing success.

The best thing you can ever do is to never stop learning to do things better.

Teresa

Tatjana
I totally agree with Tatjana; if there is no support or direction from the ones that has already gone through it, then it will only frustrate and discourage the ones that are not internet sauvy.  I like when there is a group of 4 or 5 with a trainer or upline to walk some of us through the steps. Now, granted that may seem a bit much, your saying, but, think about it.  Would you rather lose us or try your best to keep us.   I can't wait to start having leads under me because I WILL go through step by step even if they already have it.  So what they can delete it.  On and up.   Good fortune to all . Take care

not sure where support is. I read through the site. I have to have more money to spend. I can not do that.

I would like to share with you what has been working extremely well for me. Firstly, I signed up for GDI through a website called Hits2u which is a free advertising website. It has a duplication system in place that redirects everyone back to GDI. After I signed up all I did was advertise Free advertising and got instant sign ups for GDI. I have been using this system on-line, but I have also been marketing off-line. I started with the 3 dvd pack because that was all I could afford at the time. I have since ordered the 10pk and business cards. I have showed the dvd to a few family and friends so far and everyone I have showed it to has signed up. I also run a part-time nail care business at home and have started showing the dvd to my clients while I do their nails. I have gotten sign ups that way as well. I am a full-time Flight Attendant with my country's national airline and I meet people all the time. I am also using that to my advantage. My advice to everyone is keep it simple! Go back to basics. Order the dvds and business cards, be ethusiastic, do'nt sell GDI. I have gone to neighbors homes and simply said , " I am simply sharing this EXCITING NEWS with everyone I possibly can . I signed up with this AMAZING home-business only a month ago and I am already in PROFIT! It is so easy anyone can do it! Here is a dvd of it, just take a look. I will come back tomorrow to pick it up and you can tell me what you think.

This business is EASY , don't make it difficult folks. ;)

I would like to add that I have only been in the business for almost two months now and I already have 30 sign ups!

Hello all, I have a little warning  here : I purchased a piece of software called BLOGBLASTER  from one Sebastian Foss and MonikaFoss.

They claimed that it will place your ad onto over two million blogs. Sounded like it might work ( to a technically challenged  person anyway). Well for me it did not work and my emails were left unanswered when I reported the problem: This was my experience anyway and after looking  it up on the web found that it had been reported by others as a RIPP OFF  :'( enter  it in Yahoo and you will see fo ryourself..as far back as  2005? Hello! :o
The good news if you have purchased it through Paypal  they will arrange a charge back for you.( they only allow you three) so take care out there on the net ;)
         P.S.
Here is a link to my new blog , I do not advertise GDI directly yet but link to my site which has the promotion on the homepage  and on another  within the website. come take a look. :-*...http://747blue.bigblog.com.au/blog.do?mode=view

I think the two most important tools for growing your business are leads and a good autoresponder. Frank I am not in your downline ( i don't think!) but I do use your tools and the tools that are mentioned within the autoresponder.

mailbag.ws is the autoresponder and i user the leads promoted within it. Thats it. I am not ready to use the phone and do understant that the people that i bring into the buisiness won't want to get on the phone right away. We are in a business where we are offering a business opp to people that have no knowledge of business, myself included.

I use aged leads and feed them into the autoresponder and when somebody watched the movie i send them an email by copying and pasting the mails given from gdi-made-easy.ws

Thats my plan! And so far i have two downline. We need to keep it simple as possible, too many tools and info and people get confused!

Hi my name is William and I am a new member in GDI.  At the begining I was a little confuse about the whole thing.  But guess what? I have been with GDI for only 4 months now.  And I have learn a whole lot from other GDI members.  One thing I learn was don't quit so soon.  Some times it takes a little while until you see things rolling in.   I have been surfing the net for different ways to promote my GDI business and I have been getting good results.   Exhange programs are great.  Free classifieds and I have not been spending any money on promoting programs and so far I have 3 sign ups.   Its not a big figure but little by littel I will get my downline rolling. Take care and God bless.

Direct email is the best way to advertise, period! Safelists ARE the freshest
LEADS you will ever get close to reaching. Ask the gurus!!  ::)

And by the way... Why pay for leads? Don't you think that those people
selling these leads would have use them themselves? Of course. Would
you sell them if they were 'great, fresh, ect, etc' ?

I have found a free way to advertise with link-referral-ad.

Hi all,

Personally, this fascinates me.

Everyone wants leads and a way to send them. Then when you get the leads and send them, you want to lead with your chin.

Relationships are what sells in MLM, always has been, always will be.

Learn to write great articles about MLM or systems and processes around MLM, syndicate the articles, and you will become a star. The rest is a bit of a waste of time.

The web needs content of value, not people promoting the next great deal. Build relationships with readers through content, and you can write your own ticket, because most will just not do it.

The secret to success is to do the things that the unsuccessful will not do. All successful people do this.

Ask Paul Birdsall and Stone Evans what they did to become stars, and they will tell you they wrote a lot of articles.

Any thoughts?

There are no wrong ways to market GDI.
In fact this goes for most of the network marketing businesses.
I'd take my time, be patient with myself and start with local market, handing out flyers, name cards... !
As we all know..GDI is not a get-rich-quick program...

The MOST IMPORTANT factor that we are missing out is knowing big hitter's winning marketing system.
Of course they will not share it with rest of us.

To be honest with myself, I often search GDI forum in good hope to get a little hint on that winner's system...
Aren't we all ???

All the best,

There are many tools you can use. You have to work really hard at it.
It takes time to build your business. If you believe you going to make it.
You are going to make it.

Blogging is great tool. You can create a blog in minutes. Write articles on your blog.
Feeds are great to promote your blog. You can also do a little podcasting. There are alot of ways to
promote GDI.

Hello W Ortiz

Well what could be so far from the truth yes you have to stick it out and get the word out there about your site and offer and it take time so you just have to keep plugging at it.  I've been doning this for quite some time and even for me it dosen't happern fast enough but it is happing and think abouit this the big guy will not share there secrets with you, is that a good thing no because that just tells me that they still dont understand the concept of People Helping People.  When they figure that out the will be alot better off and so will the people they help. But make along story short I would like to invite you to take a look at a tool that can help in your business efforts.  If you would like more info just go to my Profile here in GDI and send me an email stating in the (subject line - Would Like More Info On Your  Business Tool) I will be more then happy to send you the information  my username here in GDI is Williamb.

Take Care and God Bless

Hey folks,
Well it looks like so many people are in the same situation as me..

Just starting out and clueless :(

Can someone please help us! :)

Hey Chad,
What would you like help with?  Only you can invite people to watch your movie.  That's all it takes.  Show as many
people the GDI Movie as you can!  And then show some more people the movie.  Let it do all the work for you.  Make
sure you login to your back office and use the invite system.  This tool alone can work for you if you use it every day.
Don't take days off and just keep inviting people to watch the movie!  LOL.. I'm repeating myself.  Good Luck
Chad!

Hi everyone,

My name is Stefan Smon. I have been with GDI for over a year now.
We all know that to get sign ups we need traffic/leads. I been working loooooong
hours, trying to get some sort of sign ups. I was geting MAX 500 leads PER MONTH.

Some 3 weeks ago, I "stumble" on something, that is giving me now OVER 1000 leads
per DAY!
My downline is also already using that "secret".
We, members of GDI, the way I feel, are a family. As I have seen in this Forum, that
everybody helps everybody, not just your own downline.
Saying that, I would like to give that "secret" to anyone in GDI, who wants to expand
his/hers GDI org., and become financialy independant.

Just contact me with a subject: Traffic for GDI.

Your in prosperity, and good will to one another.

Hi Marvin,

I recently joined GDI and based on previous personal experience and activity online, with hand on heart feel that GDI is 'THE' Opportunity to be in. The facilities in the back office alone are highly impressive and promotion of such a comprehensive program is like a breath of fresh air. With signups arriving after only a couple of days I am convinced GDI in itself is a formula to behold.

This is also my very first post in the GDI forum but I felt your pole for the "tools" to succeed is a highly valuable question and the voting system you have set-up a great way to see overall results and feedback.

For my offering I would target training or ongoing training with a step by step promotional ladder that could lead any member from newbie to guru by utilising and learning to use the most rewarding and productive forms of promotion facilities online. Allowing highly effective target marketing to ensure they implement each stage enough to concour and learn. In doing this members could possibly assist their own team to grow at a more rappid pace thus installing solidity within the team and members.

Some of this training could include the securing and operation of such promotional tools like:

Manual Visitor Exchanges (Also known as Traffic Exchanges), Blogs (Also known as Weblogs) Ezines (And how to write a good Ezine) SEO (Search Engine Optimization (Quite important I would feel as we promote a Website Building Program) Adwords (This alone can produce all the traffic anyone needs if administered correctly) FFA sites (Certainly not submitting to them but rather running a few as they can yield masses of hits daily from your Submit and Forget Email), Ad and Article Blasters (Put out the good word fast and with Articles who knows where in the world your ads will end up if they are written well enough), Banner ads and exchanges (Very hit and miss but highly useful for awareness campaigns), Classified Ads (Again only if fee and have a guaranteed audience for the specific terms).

I hope you don't find my statement over the top but I just have quite a strong agreement in your voting system. Will any of it get implemented or is it purely an experiment?

Kind Regards

Clive

Hi everyone!

One of the most important things I feel ANY new GDI "BUISNESS OWNER" needs to do is to "MARKET" their GDI BUISNESS... and I feel the BEST way to do that is to treat YOUR GDI Buisness LIKE a BUISNESS and NOT a HOBBY!

I don't think you'd find one NEW "SUCCESSFUL" Buisness in this world that got started WITHOUT an "ADVERTISING BUDGET"! I don't care "HOW SMALL" or "HOW BIG" that "ADVERTISING BUDGET" may have been...whatever they could afford...BUT...THEY WERE SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE THEY HAD AN ADVERTISING BUDGET!

ADVERTISING DOES WORK! (...and it's WHATEVER YOU CAN AFFORD!)

What's YOUR LATTE' Factor?

I hear alot of people COMPLAIN..."I CAN'T AFFORD IT"...They may very well be the same people who will GLADLY stroll right on into STARBUCKS EVERY DAY ( 2 to 3 times ) and GLADLY give up $4 BUCKS each time for a "Triple Mochiato" or "Vinte Latte"! Lets do the math...$4 x 2 Times per day x 30 Days = $240 per MONTH! I think YOU just FOUND a VERY NICE START FOR AN "AD BUDGET"!

YOU GET THE POINT! Sometimes we need to SACRIFICE (TEMPORARILY) in order to ACHIEVE OUR GOALS! ...and, it TRULY is AMAZING, HOW MUCH MONEY WE WASTE EACH MONTH ON "TRIVIAL" THINGS WE CAN DO WITHOUT (TEMPORARILY) IN ORDER TO GIVE US THE MONEY WE NEED DESPERATELY TO ACHIEVE OUR GOALS IN OUR "GDI BUISNESS"!

Now, let me show you what I mean "IN REAL LIFE"!

I started my "GDI BUISNESS" back in April of 2006 ( 7 Months Ago ) and IMMEDIATELY set an "ADVERTISING BUDGET" (Just Like A REAL BUISNESS) and for me, that was $500 per month (that figure may need to be MORE or LESS for YOU). After doing some "Online" research and deductive reasoning on how and where to Advertise, I started placing my "Banner Ads" on some very heavily trafficed websites.

In addition to figuring out my "Ad Budget", I also Calculated my "Projected R.O.I." (Return on Investment) over 30 Months of Advertising. This R.O.I. calculation was based on a "Growth Model" figure that I have seen work CONSISTENTLY in (2) other Network Marketing companies I had previously been successful in...so, it was based on "HISTORICAL" accuracy relative to my own experience that I consider repeatable. (In REAL LIFE, My GDI Income GROWTH Rate = 36% per Month)!

Since I started my "GDI BUISNESS" in April '06 (7 months ago), I have personally recruited over 25 Frontline GDI Affiliates and my "Organization" is 3 Levels Deep...my "GDI BUISNESS" Income is GROWING at a rate of 36% per month!

The above Income Growth Rate of 36% per month (If SUSTAINABLE & It Could be subject to CHANGE...THERE ARE NO GAURANTEES IN LIFE)...would YIELD a   6,700% R.O.I. (Return on Investment) Calculated out over the next 30 MONTHS! (See MORE DETAILS BELOW)...It would be hard to FIND ANY Investment out their that could YIELD a R.O.I. ANYTHING remotely close to this kind of R.O.I.!

ADVERTISING WORKS...so...MAKE IT WORK FOR YOU! Start with WHATEVER YOU CAN AFFORD...but, you'd be AMAZED to discover, areas in your life where you BLOW MONEY, that you could "Cut Back On" in order to "CREATE AN ADVERTISING BUDGET" that would "SET YOU FOR LIFE" in 30 to 60 Months "DOWN THE ROAD"! (You can see the DETAILS in my letter below of the Monthly Projected Income 30 Months out)...and IT SURE BEATS THE 30 YEAR RETIREMENT PLAN that most FOLKS ARE ON!

Below...You will find one of the Dozen or so "Marketing Letters" that I send out to ALL my new PROSPECTS that respond to my Banner Advertising...I DO NOT PULL ANY PUNCHES WITH THEM, I GIVE IT TO THEM STRAIGHT, THE LETTER IS MEANT TO WEED OUT THE "TIRE KICKERS" & "TIME WASTERS"! I ONLY WANT TO WORK WITH "BUISNESS BUILDERS" WHO ARE SERIOUS! So...I created this letter to send out to all my PROSPECTS who click on my "Banner Ad' and who WATCH MY MOVIE! They are either "SERIOUS" or "NOT" about CHANGING THEIR FINANCIAL PICTURE, and my letter is DESIGNED to WEED OUT those who are NOT SERIOUS, so I DON'T WASTE MY TIME!

I learned a very VALUABLE lesson a long time ago..."If you've got to CHASE PEOPLE INTO THIS BUISNESS...then, you're gonna' need to CHASE THEM AROUND to get them to DO ANYTHING"! THAT IS A BIG WASTE OF YOUR TIME! YOUR LOOKING for, that Individual who "GET'S IT", IS VERY MOTIVATED & WILLING TO STICK WITH IT & COMMIT TO LEARNING & DOING!

So...this is NOT GET RICH QUICK...but, once you read my "Marketing Letter" here below, you'll begin to see the AMAZING "DUPLICATABLE" results of "STEADY GROWTH" through teaching your ORGANIZATION the benefit of ADVERTISING and how in 30 to 60 months, their Financial Lives "WILL NEVER BE THE SAME" again as they LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK!

I don't mind sharing this material with any of you...I am a FIRM BELIEVER in the Principle of, "What we sow...that shall we reap"! I also learned a long time ago..."YOU CAN NEVER OUT GIVE GOD"!

God Bless Everyone of You with HIS PEACE & PROSPERITY!

Here, below is my "Marketing Letter" I send to all my GDI PROSPECTS who respond to my Advertising.

Hello (Prospect First Name),

Thank You for your interest and desire to learn more about Global Domains International
and the "Work at Home" Industry, Internet Marketing, as well as my Buisness
as an Affiliate for GDI.

My name is Ken Howard, I have been a successfull Full Time Internet Network Marketer
for over 10 Years, building large downline organizations in several Network Marketing
Companies; Excel Telecomunications, The Art of Better Living and now, GDI.

With more than 10 years experience in this Industry, please read below, some of
the most valuable lessons I have learned to properly evaluate the "Buisness
Model"  of a company that one is considering becoming "Affiliated" with. My experience
has proven one thing, by using this short list below and adhearing to it's sound rules,
whatever company you decide to "Build" with, you WILL BE successful if you choose a company
that meets or exceeds the criteria in this list, and follow sound "Buisness Building" methods.

1. Choose a Solid, Debt Free, Privately Held company that has been in buisness more than 5 Years.

2. After meeting criteria # 1, this company must also have a GLOBAL ONLINE OPPORTUNITY.

3. The company must provide a "UNIQUE" product or service, with ZERO COMPETITION.

4. After meeting all 3 of the above criteria, this company must NOT BE SATURATED,
having captured only minimal GLOBAL Market Share, to ensure many more years of success
for new Affiliates.

5. This company must have a very "Fair" and "Rewarding", easily understood COMPENSATION PLAN.

6. This company must have a product or service that is EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE FOR THE GLOBAL MASSES.

7. This company must not have  FRONT LOADING of Product or BUYING POSITIONS.

8. This company must employ and provide it's Affiliates all the latest marketing technology and continue to stay
on the "Cutting Edge" of advancements.

9. This company must provide a "FREE TRIAL PERIOD" for ALL of it's POTENTIAL Affiliates or Customers to use
the product or service FIRST, before commiting to purchase.

10. This company should have very little "Attrition" or "Loss of Customers/Affiliates" due to having meet criteria's # 1 through # 9.

One chooses wisely by choosing a company that meets or exceeds the above criteria
of # 1 through # 10. Your odds of achieving substantial success and sustainable
"Residual Income" increases dramatically, provided you put forth the necessary
actions and committment.

By choosing a company that meets the above criteria, you are choosing an "INDUSTRY LEADER" and a
"SUSTAINABLE PARTNER" that will ensure you are rewarded for many years into the future, truly building
a monthly residual "INCOME FOR LIFE", because the company has PROVEN itself over a period of time to be a
leader, you can "Rest Assured" you are not "Building a Buisness" in vain.

The last thing one would want to happen to them is to build a successfull and large organization
in a company that DOES NOT MEET CRITERIA # 1 through # 10, so they are recieving a
nice monthly residual income from their efforts and the efforts of their organization
and then SUDDENLY, they get a call from their upline that the company is FOLDING,
or worse...the Commission Checks STOP COMING...SICKNESS FALLS OVER YOU,
ALL THAT HARD WORK CRUMBLES TO DUST! This is NOT "RESIDUAL INCOME"!

How do I know...because it happened to me TWICE!... First with "Excel Telecommunications"
and then with "The Art of Better Living".

I SWORE IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN TO ME OR MY ORGANIZATION...EVER AGAIN!

So, I TRULY started researching and did my "Due Dilligence" regarding
this Industry of "Network Marketing", I studied literally dozens of companies,
buisness plans, marketing plans, compensation plans, marketing technologies, and
you name it, I studied it! I would never be BURNED again!

This is how I was able to DEFINE a "MODEL" company in the above criteria
that GAURANTEES absoutely this company will NOT go under and provide the "Long
Term" gaurantee of building your DREAM "INCOME FOR LIFE"...ONCE &
ONLY ONE TIME!

So...CHOOSE WISELY...when choosing a "Home Based Buisness" and Company...Build
ONCE & GET PAID A DREAM "INCOME FOR LIFE"!

Make sure the company and opportunity is stable (over 5 years old) and match criteria
# 1 through # 10 above in order to prevent "HEART BREAK" later.

In addition to criteria # 1 through # 10 being so important, I had several other
criteria that if meet, would be icing on the cake!

Additional Criteria (icing on the cake) :

I like calling this my POSITIVE "NO" LIST!

NO SELLING
NO INVENTORY
NO PRODUCTS

Global Domains International, GDI Meets ALL of these Criteria & MORE!

So...I chose to start my GDI Affiliation in April 2006!

Here is My GDI Buisness Strategy:

Now I would like to share with you my "Buisness Plan" on how I am building
a large GLOBAL organization in GDI and how you can too. Believe me, there is alot
of confusing BS out there on the internet regarding "How to Build a successfull
Networking Buisness", everything from titles like "Chinese Tenessee Redneck
Marketing" to "How to Attract Marketing Experts like a Magnet"...you
don't need to waste your time or money on ANY of them.

There is NO SECRET!

Although, proper DUPLICATION is KEY to success in ANY Network Marketing Buisness,
Learning DUPLICATION properly and transfering that knowledge to your organization
is the ONLY thing necessary in order to achieve success in Networking.

So, in that consideration, I would like to simplify your success learning and lay
out a PLAN that has worked successfully TIME and TIME again for myself and those
who taught it to me!

ADVERTISING!... IT WORKS!

Now consider this...NO SERIOUS buisness person would ever consider opening ANY type
of buisness without first setting an "Advertising Budget" aside in order
to ensure GROWTH of their new found buisness! It is a well known fact that 95% of
ALL Network Marketers make less than $100 per month and only sponsor 2 new affiliates
into their organization...all the while, The Industry of Network Marketing continues
to "Turn Out" more MILLIONAIRES "year in & year out"...What
Gives here...Seems like such a CONTRADICTION?...Why this DISPARITY?

My research on this phenomenon reveals the SIMPLE TRUTH...those Networkers who treat
their new buisness like a "BUISNESS" instead of a "HOBBY" and
who COMMIT & INVEST; TIME, RESOURCES, ENERGY, EFFORT, VISION, WORK ETHIC and
who LEARN/TRAIN to new levels regarding their new buisness, ARE ALWAYS REWARDED
with TREMENDOUS GROWTH, while those in the 95% group continue complaining and WONDERING
why their new buisness FAILED.

My CURRENT Monthly Advertising Budget is $500 per month and GROWING (I realize this
is un-do-able for some of you-OR, SO YOU THINK) but follow with me below and I will
reveal to you how that level of COMMITMENT is BETTER than money in the Bank and
will achieve staggering Return On Investments (R.O.I.) of way in excess of 1,000%...The
R.O.I. on the money saved in your IRA or 401K or Savings CD will fall way short
of the typical R.O.I.'s that you can achieve in a Successful Network Marketing
Company in 30 to 60 months through *"Geometric Expansion" or "Exponential
Growth"!

So, it's all a matter of relative CHOICE...put $500 per month in a traditional Financial
Investment, ie, 401K, IRA, CD, Money Market Fund and possibly earn 3% to 6% and
sometimes even LOOSE MONEY (Stocks go down in value in your 401K or IRA sometimes)
or...put $500 into SOUND ADVERTISING on the Internet and Print Media as I am doing
that is currently YIELDING me a GROWTH R.O.I. of 36% per MONTH in my GDI Buisness
Income!

My GDI INCOME is GROWING 36% per MONTH, EVERY MONTH since I first started as a new
GDI Affiliate in April of this Year 2006!

THERE ARE NO SECRETS IN "HOW TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS IN NETWORK MARKETING"...YOU
MUST BE WILLING TO COMMIT MONEY FOR ADVERTISING, THAT COMMITMENT, COMBINED
WITH INVESTING YOUR TIME, RESOURCES, ENERGY, EFFORT, VISION, WORK ETHIC and
eagerness to LEARN/TRAIN to new levels regarding YOUR new buisness, WILL REWARD YOU
with TREMENDOUS GROWTH, while those in the 95% group continue complaining and WONDERING
why their new buisness FAILED, YOUR BUISNESS WILL GROW!

IS THIS A SOUND BUISNESS STRATEGY?

Does it make sense to INVEST $500 per month in Advertising (in my case-yours may be different-it's whatever you can start out with, MORE or LESS)...let's ANNANALYZE!

*These figures below are Based on my current rate of GDI Income Growth of 36% per
month, as in every Investment or Buisness Model they are subject to change!

$500 per month x 30 months = $15,000 Invested over 30 months of Advertising...lets
see what the potential R.O.I. will yield at the CURRENT rate of return of 36% per
month (Based on my current stats).

Month 2.....GDI MonthlyIncome December 2006   = $47

Income Earned Over 30 months...Based on the above *Disclaimer of current Growth
Rate of 36% per month

This R.O.I. (Return On Investment) Yield is 6,700% over 30 Months & Continues
to GROW Exponentially each and EVERY MONTH through the concept of *Geometric Expansion" or
"Exponential Growth" that is Unique only to Network Marketing!

It would be Hard Pressed for Any Investment to achieve this level of R.O.I., that
is why I Invest $500 per month into my GDI Buisness and Advertise it GLOBALLY on
the Internet, to achieve what MOST Traditional Investments & Buisness Models
could never achieve!

I know Advertising works, because I've used it Successfully in the past to Build
Huge Organizations in (2) other companies that I mentioned earlier...but, it takes
VISION, COMMITTMENT of RESOURCES and TIME!

It ALWAYS starts out SMALL & BUILDS HUGE OVER TIME!...BUT IT DOES WORK EVERY TIME!

The 95% Group of people could have this success TOO, but unfortunately, THEY LACK THE VISION.

It is written in SCRIPTURE..."My People Perish for a LACK of VISION"!

...and even our Master, Jesus Christ once said, "If we have FAITH (vision) the size of a MUSTARD SEED (very tiny),
WE CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS"!

ADVERTISING YIELDS SMALL RESULTS AT FIRST...but through the phenomenon of "Exponential Growth" or
"Geometric Expansion" ...DUPLICATION OCCURS EVERY MONTH...which
CREATS ANOTHER PHENOMENON, LEVERAGE OF YOUR TIME THROUGH A GROWING ORGANIZATION
THAT BELONGS TO YOUR VISION!

We CANNOT REAP THE HARVEST YET (Residual Income)...UNTIL WE PLANT THE TINY SEED
(VISION), WATER IT, WEED IT, AND PUT OUR HAND TO THE 'TILL (ACTION & COMMITMENT)...and
then, we will start to watch our tiny little seeds sprout into a new plant, but
we are not done yet, we must KEEP THE CROWS AWAY (The Negative-Vision Robing Crowd)
and continue caring for our CROP (TEACH THEM DUPLICATION-OUTLINED IN THIS MESSAGE).
It is through the POWER OF DUPLICATION YOUR ORGANIZATION WILL GROW THE FASTEST!

Well, now that I have overwhelmed you...let me close with an Invitation to closely

Hi all,
I've been a GDI memeber for just a few months now, and I've had a lot of fun with it'
( finally figured out the site builder).
I'm on line part time, due to the J.O.B. on the Outside.

What I see from the stats on this post implies to me that it really depends on the level of experience
that a marketer has attained that determines which in the list here are of
the utmost importance at any given time.
Some of the tools that are needed for marketing for instance,
aren't too difficult to figure out, but some take quite a bit of research in order to learn exactly Why you're in need of a particular tool.
Let alone, learning How to use them fully.
Anyway, it's certainly a Process, like everything in life.......and it's great to have these fourms to share Ideas and Inspiration!

Enjoy!  :)

Hi, I'm a Noob to GDI and the forum. I picked up a tool from a Gentleman from the UK. We got to talking when he tried to recruit me Into GDI. When I told him I was a Member He gave me alot of info and access to a site to use as a tool. The site was constructed to help build GDI downlines. I also stumbled on to another site to do the same thing. Would making them public in the forum be breaking any rules. They are free if you are already a GDI Member.

Title: Seriously i need some HELP!!!!!!!!!

Dear all,

I'm a very new member for GDI, currently i try to boost up my spirit to find new user register under me (downline) and the next thing i know "I tried so hard and yet so far" on achieving my goal.

1. Send 300 invitation to all my friends and family but only 3 person who view the mail (bad)
2. trying to get experience from my upline and none of them reply me when i send them any question (i feel i have been CON)
3. i can see future with GDI but with no one support i can't move
4. i have banging my head for 3 days to get new potential user but none of them in my list is intrested
reason:- no credit card to pay the monthly fees  10usd
         :  not interested
: is like direct slling and i don't like direct selling system
         : etc many stupid reason

but anyway from the list above i tried to overcome it by posting threads to u all and ask all of ur experience u can PM me.

i really need this help

Hello Kenneth
You see the big picture in GDI, but others don`t see it that way, be it friends, family, relatives etc. its the same experience with everyone.
The trick is never give up.It never ceases to amaze me, everytime i visit the forum the main complain is downline emailing upline and never receiving
any reply. Am i the only i thought who is having the opposite effect, i always email my downline, welcome them on their first sign-up, and letting
them know that i am here to help them but no one respond and i mean no one.
Suddenly they cancel their membership without me knowing the reason.
But i will never give up, like you i see the potential in GDI.
create card, flyers and pass it to everyone. Just because prospects did not sign today does not mean they will not go back, maybe the time is not
ready yet.
Hope this lifts your spirit a bit, it is very lonely when running Business alone and i know how frustrating it is sometimes.
Good luck
Manuel

Kenneth,
I too am a "newbie" here, and am getting  :("0" ::) support from my upline ??? ... BUT, the very best advice that I can give at the moment, and that I use my self daily is: "Don't give up!!!"
Now that obviously sounds much easier said than done, BUT, wouldn't we kick ourselves really hard when we see this thing "take-off", and we gave up, only to want back in?   I would!
Don't get discouraged, as "Rome wasn't built in a day".   Trust me, I'm a very skeptical person, and at times just about anything that I see on the Internet seems like some sort of scam.   Thankfully though, I am still sending out 100 emails each and every day, and although only a small number seem to be opening the first email (much less going any further), there are a few that seem to be at least interested.   I also have to hand it to GDI, the system that they have here is just incredible!   I mean, I'm still learning the ropes of this, but I've got a really good feeling about this whole idea.
Stay with it Bro', and I'm sure you'll (like me) learn more and more as you go along.   Since I have no help from my upline, I'm having to learn both on my own, as well as study what others are doing.   It WILL work, you've just got to be determined to MAKE it work for You.
Some of course are naturally going to be better at the marketing aspect of it than others of us, and some of us are going to have to work much harder than most in order to succeed ... but I'm also of the opinion that the harder we work for something, the more it's going to be worth to us in the long-run.   It'll happen, just believe in Yourself, the system already in-place (and working) here, and don't be afraid to ask questions.
Also remember, "The ONLY dumb question, is the one that You don't ask!"
There are some really honest and truly helpful folks here, and some of them are already finding me, and offering help.   Try not to get overwhelmed :o when the help does start flooding your way, and pick and choose what works best for You.   Hang in there, and the BEST of luck and success to You. 8)

Hi,

Personally I think the 2 most important tools you need to succeed online are:
1)An autoresponder which follows up with your prospect
2)A content rich website (either a blog or your GDI website that you created)

Many people may feel that tools for traffic generation may be important, but I think if we can provide people
with good content (and incentives for them tell others about it -- this is taken care by GDI), the traffic problem is taken care of.

If anyone needs help with the 2 tools that I mentioned above, please send me a private message. :)

Great initiative! And here comes the however... I am surpised/not surprised that GDI's DVD is not specifically mentioned. It would be interesting to see if anyone really uses the DVD. Why do I ask this. Because I dislike the new option for visitors to request a DVD, and that I only get the contact details for this (mystery) visitor after I confirm the request. Does GDI really expect me to pay some $20 for DVD and parcel delivery services? I have been enthusiastically and in my own way successfully promoting GDI since October 2004 and I appear to have developed an allergy for the DVD. :-\

Hi Inatio and All,

I don't like being negative, but I couldn't agree with you more about the "gdi lead capture page"
that gives the person looking the ability to request an DVD from you.
This can easily be misused and abused.

Heck, (I hope nobody would do this), but anyone could go to there upline  downline get their username and put a friends or relatives name and request a DVD and have it shipped to that friends or relatives house.

That was the best "lead capture page" and now I don't even use it anymore and I've advised my downline not to use it.

Sorry, but this really was a very bad decision on "Admin" (whoever thought of it) part.
Heck, before they did the recent "face left" of GDI Site, someone had 2 people request an DVD from them and they didn't deny or approve it, the request was left there for around 2 months (suppose to be 7 days), then moved to your upline, now since the "face left" I now have the two same folks request for the DVD, which of course first was requested from my downline and left their for two months. Geeeeeze, Do you think these folks are holding their breath for the DVD, let's hope not.

I'm anxious to see how long the request will be left for me, before moved on to my sponsor.

It saddens me to feel this way, and truthfully this the only thing that I feel where a bad decision was made.

I surly hope someone, who can encourage "Admin." will strongly suggest that the "Request DVD" be removed.
Oh yeah, that brings me to remember..... It states "Request DVD from your Sponsor". Heck you are not someone's sponsor until they join??????

Again, this could and I feel sure is being highly misused and abused.

I do not have a problem with helping my downline build their business, as I have done this, I would not object to sending someone in my downline a DVD, as long as I know this person it taking their GDI business serious and trying to help themselves.

I take my GDI Business Serious, and I will help anyone is my downline who does the same.
I believe in "helping others', "teamwork" ect..... but I also believe in them trying to help themselves and taking their GDI Business Serious.

These people in my GDI Business...... They are not just in my downline, their are my business partners.

Wishing you all much Success in all areas of your life.....

I have discovered at least 5 systems that directly links to promoting gdi / building your business. As  newbie I would like to hear from members which ones are worth looking at. Do you use, some, all or none. There is so much information and it's hard to make the right choices!!!  Thanks for your help...

I use many tools.  traffic exchanges for lead capture pages and splash pages that I make.  I use safe lists, directories, sig files, free classifieds, website submission-good for submitting the sites you make.  AdlandPro.  Forums, I have my own forum as well.  I use blogs and free websites that have links to a gdi site.

I also use an auto responder so I can have may own lead capture pages.  I use other programs that also have GDi in their own business model. Home Income Team, PayitForward4Profits,TheNPN system, 3in7, there's some more too.

Try marketing GDI as a webiste Fund raiser.  Minor sports team, church, school, health, ect....  The website can promote the organization, list the people, stats and other info about the organization.  People can support the charity by signing up to gdi.  The person that signs up gets to be listed with their link on the organizations website as a donor.  Many possibilities there.

There's also viral marketing.

Set a schedule and to do list for your daily marketing.  Do something everyday towards your goal.

Having a good upline is important.  Some people never hear from thier uplines.  Thats how I got all the help I needed.  Try to learn and help and communicate with your upines and downlines.  Establish a relationship with some or many of them.  Use msn messanger or skype, or yahoo chat programs.  Hook up and help eachother out.  It win/win when you do that.

Bye fr now

Title: When creating campaign emails and autoreponders why.....?
Post by: DaleParks on April 22, 2007, 06:12:05 PM
Hello GDI Affiliates,

I have finally learned how to create a campaign and autoresponders on a site I signed up with.
Why is it, when I am finished, I click on submit, they are auto reviewed like a spell checker for
" WORD THAT MAY BE INTERPRETED AT SPAM", and list immediately comes back to me of bad words to use. It's like I'm so new and so far everyone has got me scared YOU KNOW WHAT about SPAM with sites saying that if "you" I cause any trouble for there site or organization I will be held completely liable. Yet I see so many website, sounding like Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show, when he would do the skit, "it dices, it slices, it chopes, it grades, and yes my friend it will even get you into heaven". I mean some of the claims out there are way off the rictor scale as far as I am concerned, and I am left feeling "if it sounds to good to be true, it most certainly usually is".

The list has included every single word GDI uses to promote itself, and every singel website I have reviewed uses them even to the extreme compared to us. They are as follows:

   * Free
   * Opportunity
   * Network Marketing
   * and so on, I wish I could remember them
all but it was a list of about 10 words

It gave me the opportunity to ignore there advice, but every one has got me so rediculously afraid of getting in trouble and it prevents me from being creative or feeling competitive with what's out there. This is also a site that allegedly the "heavy hitters" on the "inside know" use, and in fact where GDI itself has a template campaign and autoresponders provide for you to utilize. I mean take a moment and listten to our very own GDI promotional DVD, it uses everyone of the words theywere warning me that might be interpreted as SPAM.

Whjy? Should I just click on "ignore" the next time I create a campaign and autoresponders?

Respectfully Yours,
Dale

Hi Brits I have been using 3in7 It's free to join and you can send new signups down to your 5th level
I have had geat success marketing 3in7's guarantee and some of my member's have been refunded
the $10 like they promise if you don't get 3 signups in 7 days.. do look at the terms thought..

you still need to do work at advertising your not given signups for doing nothing.. and I think some people
think that when they signup.. you also need to send 1000 hits to your 3in7 page in those first 7 days

Great poll ... I constantly ask my team what they need ... and provide it to them. Training on internet marketing is critical so they understand the basics rather than just push affiliate pages. If they learn how to earn you are more likely to reatin them since they'll be more likely to understand how powerful MLM can be and stay being a few weeks ... guaranteeing you stable team and income

Veneta,

I think that your question is one that most people who have joined GDI have asked themselves, and were not honest enough to ask others to help answer.

The first thing I feel is necessary is to ask yourself WHY you joined GDI?  When you have that answered the rest gets easier.  Next I invite you to answer this question; Why does anyone want or need to have a website?  This may in fact be the first question to answer, because the answer to this question will arm you with the HOW TO Market this company and its product.

Then your next step is to learn everything you can about the industry we represent.  Defining the industry will also help you in preparing your marketing campaigns.  An education can be expensive yet well worth your time and money if you in fact come away from it learning more than you knew before.

They say Success leaves clues, so look to those that are succesfull both here in GDI and throughout your personal relationships and ask for their help in guiding you forward.  Reading about people who you respect and honor have alot that can add to your personal success.

As I read my response I am thinking that it may not be exactly what you want to hear because of its vagueness and yet I know that without the Foundation (which is what I am laying out for you) one can never experience real success.

Please contact me if you need more specific ideas and continue your participation here in the Forum where you will find a FORTUNE of Information to assist in building your business.

Top 3

1. A Why......And it needs to be a BIG ONE.

2. A sense of Urgency.

3. Action.

But before you start you need to comfortable with yourself. You will know when you are ready to take charge of your life, this may happen today, tomorrow or 10 years from now. But if you are determined it will happen for you.

Well to me if you don't have personal motivation none of these even matter

That's true. I wish I had read your comment before I voted, because I thought, well I already have that so... But you're totally right, if you're not motivated, there will be no success no matter what you do or do not do.  More likely do not without the motivation ;)

I find that altering the script I use with myself works too. So, instead of saying - I am going to try to make this work, I'll say - I am going to make this work. Just the deletion of try to makes a big difference in how I feel internally. Yes, I am going to make it work instead of well, maybe.... It's like Yoda says - Do or do not, there is no try ;D

I realise that building a home business is more of a marathon than a sprint, and I believe I am making steady and sure progress in many areas but I would like to see more results. I am prepared to put in the work to make it happen, I guess what I am looking for is pointers to make sure that time is not wasted on one thing when it should be focused on another. Also new Ideas and such.

But before we try to automate are business.

We must first build relationships and common rapore with potential business clients.

I think a tool that I feel would help me out is that the people in my Upline would contact me help me motivate me. You should keep in contact with as many people in your downline as possible. Even a couple levels down even if others are emailing helping them no matter where you are in the upline or downline everyone should be in contact atleast through email helping one another.

Hello sheritas,

If you know nothing about website building you would be better to start your promoting
of GDI using one of the many links they provide for you.

Meantime you can be building your website until you get what you want.

You will have to know some html to build your site. :o
I do assume you will want some images.

Some links to start with:

Traffic exchanges are one the easiest ways to get traffic for free, especially for newbies.
There is a nice article by bravenet which gives you good explanation on traffic exchanges
see here : http://resources.bravenet.com/articles/promotion/traffic/traffic_exchanges/1

However I suggest that you don't promote your freedom.ws affiliate link direct at traffic exchanges.
Follow the steps here :
1) use your site builder and create a simple page
2) sign up for an autoresponder program and put the form code on your simple web page
-redirect your visitors to your GDI page after they optin through your form
-follow up with them until they join GDI (or opt-out)
3) promote your GDI domain name (the webpage you made in step 1) in the traffic exchanges

I think it's very important to diversify the way we advertise GDI.  Do not concentrate on only 1 advertising method.  I say this because everyone of my signups have originated from a different advertising source.

I have signups from my forum postings, my craigslist ads, traffic exchanges, etc...

I have not used the invite system yet, but I hope to be able to use it one day...but only for people that I know personally, 'cause I do not want to have my GDI account terminated, 'cause I have been accused of spam.

I would really like to use the GDI business cards, haven't had a chance to do that yet, 'cause I prefer to use free advertising first.

If you do not like to promote or don't have the time to promote, just ask 5 to 10 people that you know, who would be willing to invest 33 cents a day to have the chance to earn a nice, monthly residual income.  Show them your site, and get them to do the same with 5 to 10 people that they know, all the way down to 5 levels.

Hi I am a new member.  As other members have already said, they are all important.  It was very hard to pick out only 3.  I also work a full time job and care for several flower and veggie gardens and a small flock of poultry. So finding time to work the business is a problem plus being new to the whole internet marketing thing.  So I need all the help I can get.  There are to many offers out there for mentoring that just get your money and give very little or nothing of value in return, so being careful is my watch word for the day.

Title: Starting Technique Dilemma

Hey guys, i'm really new to the company.  My name's Austin Messer, and I'm looking to improve my business and sales skills, in addition to making a little extra cash!   ;D

My question about marketing is:  Do you recommend that a beginner starts by purchasing phone verified leads?  Or do you simply believe in personal recruiting?  Keep in mind that I am pretty young for this (18) and I don't want to come off as young and unprofessional.

Thanks for the help,

Austin Messer

YouTube, YouTube, YouTube!!!!!!

Everyone loves watching entertaining videos.

All I do is upload entertaining videos on YouTube and plug my power5plan.com site to automatically recruit people into my team.

Works amazingly well.

Duplication is easy when you know that its all about traffic and conversion!!!!!!!

Great Survey !!!
I think they are all important but afer awhile I was able to choose
the three that I think was most inportant. Im surprised at how
few people think  personal motivation is important. I think we
still have alot of educating to do on the law of attraction.
thanks for the thought provoking survey

Ok, i am a newby, and i am a bit lost, i did in fact recieved an email saying...
Hello Carla,

Congratulations! You have a new visitor to your My.WS portal site.

This person came into the system via the My.WS portal, perhaps from a flyer with your ID on it or an ad you placed on the Internet. They have just watched the flash presentation!

IT IS VITAL that you contact this person RIGHT AWAY. Don't waste ANY time at all!

For your convenience and to aid you in building a prospect mailing list, we have sent this email using your prospect's name and email in the "FROM" field, however - you should not reply directly to this message to mail the new prospect unless you delete the contents of this email before typing your message to them.

It would be ideal if you can contact this person while they are still on your GDI website!

The more time that passes between when you receive this notice and when you take action, the less your chances are of turning this person into a new partner in your GDI business.

This person has viewed your flash presentation.

Here is their contact info:
And then it tells you to contact them,
So when it is to contact... what the heck should i say??
Is there any successfull "e-mail template" that i can use to make the person to sign up or so?
Thank you,
Carla

Definitely a great set of questions for a poll !

It seems the most important thing in an Internet Marketing Business is that HUGE mailing list.

Then the second important thing to a successful Internet Business is HUGE amounts of Traffic.

Because without traffic, you can't create a mailing list.

And without a huge mailing list, it is hard to generate huge traffic.

Nothing like a "Catch-22" to make running a business easy!   ;D  ;)

Somebody once told me to find a Mentor in your desired field.
And make sure your mentor is more successful then you would like to be.
Because if your mentor is not more successful then you want to be, how can they mentor you to reach your goals?

To Your Success,
Austin Rose

Title: Scripts to help with recruiting.
Post by: DonBaylor on July 14, 2009, 03:19:26 AM
Hello to all GDI affiliates out there!  My name is Don Baylor and I am a somewhat new GDI rep.  I actually tried GDI back in 2006/07 and couldn't get it going like I'd hope.  Decided to give it another try (just recently signing up again in Feb09).  I really wish I would have kept at it, who knows where I would be right now.. but getting back to the point of my post;  If anyone out there has any ideas or written scripts/pitches out there that have brought them success, please feel free to share the information... any assistance is welcomed.  Since I've joined - I have a total of 6 reps under me and I know that this opportunity is a life changer!!

I just want all those who I talk to about it to see what I see in GDI....  How do you approach your prospects?

Thanks so much

Don B.

With all the talk about helping each other ,  I have a great idea !!! Lets get every one on board,  and give your downlines 10 people of yours.  As those 10 people get more signed on, then that affil..  can give his or her downline 10 people and so on......

My sponsor has been a great deal of help to me, he edited brian bears videos and put my link in them. I have put 4 or 5 videos up on just about every known video site. I get a ton of IP adresses in my hit log, I had 5 missed sign ups in the first week, emailed them all back and go no response.
I hear about how people make there $10 back in the first week....*sigh* I didn't make, I have zilch.
I got excited when I found one guy in my downline but it turns out my sponsor put him there. I have been working very hard, and i keep just missing people.  I have written a few articles on popular sites as well. basically, I need some tips, because I do not give up. Help me out.
What would you say is the best replicated page to use?
What is the most effective way to get people the fastest?
If I am required to invest, how much?

This may not be exactly the answer you are looking for but here it is...be consistent.  It usually takes time to start achieving results.  Set yourself a schedule of things you will do to promote GDI and do them every single week.  Pick a few days a week to post a new article, visit forums every day, post to your blog if you have one several times a week, post classified ads several times a week, keep putting out your videos.  Usually results are slow, especially as you learn.  One huge key is be consistent.  Keep learning but also keep doing doing doing.  You will see results.

Most things in this poll are important! I picked this quote because there's very much truth in this statement. Just think of all the people that are successful in life, they were not overnight successes it took time and work!!! All you have to do is create one gdi link. Do not use the other 9 link. Just promote 1 of your GDI link. Don't sign up for premium membership. Then go and buy 5000 credits for 28 dollars.Wait 24 hours for the credit to apply to your easyhits4u account. Then log in, go to my sites, then you will see your 5000 credit. Put them next to your GDI link where it says assign credit and hit assign in the bottom. 5000 people will now see your gdi link, keep your fingers cross and wait to see how many people sign up. I've tried it and I got over 700 sign ups in two months only.

For anyone to suceed in network marketing or any business venture, you have to have upline support first and foremost, leadership is essential because if the big dogs won't share, you don't have both oars in the water and you'll just be moving in circles instead of upward and forward.  Next would be a system that is workable and that ANYONE can do, not just the ones with money to advertise.  What type of system is in place, is vital to success because it has to be duplicatable or the average network marketer won't be able to do it.  Thirdly, build relationships with your downline.  People don't join a company or product, they join YOU.  To build a team, you have to build relationships with people along the way or you will lose them and your organization will not grow.  Those are the three most important things and I got those from a few very successful network marketers who are earning the kind of money we all want to make.  The marketing would be fourth, and should be included otherwise, how do you get your opportunity out there to the world?  Right?

Very well said Tim Mendoza,

Until I put a system in place for all my team to follow the attrition rate was appalling.

Then the second problem was for newbies to generate traffic to their websites so that they could recruit via the internet.

I solved that problem as well with my Free Website Traffic methods.

The third element is the rapport you need to develop with your team - this is something I can only attempt to teach. Some people have a natural aptitude and the right mind set.
Others just aren't prepared to help anyone.

All I can really do about this is to lead by example - hopefully helping my downline will rub off - and they in turn will help their downline.

Cheers,

Kitty.

What "tools" do you need to succeed?

When I look at the results of this poll I see why I'm succeeding online.

#1 - Opt-in leads
#2 - E-Mailing program to send leads
#3 - Advertising sources
#4 - Training on internet marketing
#5 - Upline support

Here's my blueprint...

I have positioned myself as an expert in Network Marketing and offer valuable solutions to fellow network marketers who OPT-IN to my list.

I use Aweber to automatically email my list more valuable training and solutions on internet marketing to build trust and create relationships with my opt-in list.

As my list gets to know me, like me and trust me, they tend to buy my solutions to help their business which funds my advertising (funded proposal) and they tend to join me in GDI if they are not already an affiliate because they want to join a leader who can give them that upline support their looking for.

Then, I just teach them HOW I market GDI online using this exact blueprint (duplication).

The information is all here, there's no guess work everyone.

In my honest opinion downline builders are scammy. No one has ever built a team for me or anyone I know. I think it is just a tactic to get people to join them.

We all already have an autoresponder. That is one of the many beauties of GDI. We all already have automatic emails that go out to our prospects everytime they go to our website or if it is someone you personally know you have put them in the invite system-they all get like 7 emails I believe.

The only thing any of us need to do is direct people to our website.
