Hello,

I liked the dvd but in my opinion would like to shorten it up since some people who have talked to said the testimonies our to long.

We need to get to the point and share quickly why we think GDI product, services, and their affiliates create a family like atmosphere were the average person can build substancial income over leveraged time.

Hello everyone,

I think this video is great, althought I do agree it may be a little lengthy. My question is, are we able to use it on our websites by copying and pasting the code. I would love to put it on my homepage. I think it would really help to convert prospects.

Thanks,
Rick and Kim

I too think the presentation is a great tool, and I plan to add it to my site.

Lengthy? A little - but I can live with it!

I don't think it's lengthy at all. I have a question though... once this dvd is available to purchase from GDI can we make copies of it on our personal computers? I mean, it can be used as a very efficient tool.

Pass out the dvd for free to someone with your url written on the case or dvd. Yeah! For one, who wouldn't want a free dvd? Furthermore, who wouldn't want to join GDI after watching it?

Since I've not seen this mentioned anywhere else, please give me credit for this idea.  ;D

I think this idea of our being able to copy it is a great idea. It would keep our expenses down and add much more exposure/promotion for GDI. Many of us, myself included, need an inexpensive means of convincing prospects. I believe this would be a great tool if its acquisation is not too costly. Since this item would benefit the company, wouldn't it be great if GDI sent us a copy for free and let us copy it. I think they would end up seeing massive growth and all who took advantage of this tool would benefit. I myself, being on a very limited budget, cannot afford more expense than I already have promoting GDI. Just something to think about.

I like all your suggestions instead writing down the url want don't you have your business card readily available to hand out with the dvd.

My audience would be people who meet we establish good relationship and serious about making some extra money from home!

As much as I like the idea of allowing us to copy the DVD, I don't aprove it personally. Did you see any company producing something with very high costs and then alowing their affiliates to copy this just like that??? Sorry, but I didn't. And here's something else: The product will probabbly be sold in an appropriate packaging, showing on the first glance that this is something of high qality and meant for promotion of good and reliable business. Now think for a momment: when everyone would be allowed to copy this DVD - what packaging would be this in, what quality would be this copied to and what would the company finally have from this. Then it would be just enough to give us a link to the whole DVD content and allowing to copy it for ourselves.  OH, GOD, THIS WOULD BE A MESS ... !!! But this is something what we don't want, do we?

I agree sure the GDI will keep the dvd's affordable for the affiliates.
If we have prepackaged dvd all we have to do is also give the potential business partner our business card and they know how to contact us for the followup interview.

I am able to duplicate any dvd, even the print on the dvd with some real expensive dvd copying computer software that I have and my scanner... and if this is allowed, it would be GREAT. If not, I sure hope the dvd's can be ordered in bulk for real, real cheap.

Chad,
I agree with you completely. I too can with the help of my son's software come up with some beautiful copies. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what GDI permits and offers as far as bulk purchasing. I HOPE IT ISN'T GOING TO COST A ARM AND A LEG SO THAT WE HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT RETREIVING COPIES ONCE WE GET THEM OUT THERE. After all, we can't just give them away or will we be able to? That's the question.
Will the price be such that if someone joins we can let them keep the dvd? Remember, we only get a dollar a month from thiem unless they start recruiting.
Well, time will tell.

No offence here, but sorry people! What I see here is that you really don't get the things about Copyright stuff! We're affiliates, yes, but we don't have any right to copy something on our own. I think you should study that isue a bit ...
And also read all the GDI documents available in your Back office carefully ...

Umm, actually, if GDI says that it is okay for affiliates to duplicate the DVD’s, then it wouldn’t impinge on any copyright laws because they unequivocally agreed to let us reproduce them. In my opinion, it shouldn’t matter because it would ultimately benefit them anyway. Think about it.

Yes, but only if they would be in the same quality as the original ones, otherwise they'd rather ruin the reputation of the company ...

Well, GDI didn't say YES yet but I have a feeling many of you would like to start copying before it's really done and released ...

Ah, I won't argue here anymore as it's no use ...  and has no point ...

I can see where everyone here is coming from here. On one hand if we were able to make our own copies everyone could do it and spread the word about GDI. But on the other hand GDI would not be able to control the quality of the product that is being used to represent its company. Even though some people have the ability to make a good copy and reproduce the packaging and everything else does not mean that they will and other people may just burn the dvd write GDI in a magick marker and hand it out.  To copy it and do the packageing would probably cost more for each person then it would for GDI to have them done in bulk and sell them to us any way. As long as they are not trying to make money off the dvd's just  the money that results from people using the dvd I think its better for them not to allow us to copy them.

Very impressive,

I liked the DVD it was very informative and another good tool to have to market and expand our GDI Business.

But also remember we need to add the human touch also to this when showing people the opportunity or the products.

take care

I beleive the DVD should be shortened...a few things were repeated time and again, however I agree some points should be emphanizes a second or third time...

there is an old saying...about speeches, sermons and presentations...

"The mind can only comprehend...what the rear can endure..."

good point...

It is an excellent video , with great content.  I watched the entire video twice already.  I understand the concept and intent!  The DVD will be an exceptional tool for all GDI Affiliates, whether they are seasoned or brand new to GDI.  I can hardly wait till I get my copies in the hand of many potential customers and affiliates.  GDI is making this business way too easy!

I just don't agree with the people that are saying that the GDI DVD is too long.  Anybody serious about making a substantial income with an opportunity like GDI should be ready to watch a FOUR hour video if they have to.  On the other hand I just believe that it's much more informative, and conveys a great sense of emotion across all boards.  I was excited during the parts meant to be exciting, I was apathetic during the moments in the film that it was called for as well.  The music is great.  The examples are great.  And I believe that this is going to make all of your downlines EXPLODE.  Give it a chance.  What company have YOU worked beside with.  And I don't mean worked for but BESIDE.  There's a difference.  It seems to me that the GDI staffs and teams vision is much bigger than some of your eyes can or choose to see.

EVERY FAMILY, SMALL BUSINESS, EVERYBODY will have a website!!  They've just put money back into your pockets when you think about it.  You just wait when you start showing that DVD!

Thank You GDI Team, Mike and Alan.  You guys truly are visionaries.  Thank You.

Most Sincerely,

Well said Myke, I agree as well!  The "DVD/MOVIE" is an excellent tool!  In time, everyone that uses this "DVD/MOVIE" as a tool will experience tremendous growth in their organizations and teams.   We must continue to think outside the box!

Finally one who sees what I'm trying to say for so long time!!!! I think unpropriate quality of the DVD could do more damage to the Company then benefit it. If GDI is high ranked firm then it's its turn to act that way from inside out, too.

Well on the other hand I agree that the DVD should have the reasonable price for everyone to be able to afford it to use it as a market tool. Well, I also hope we are allowed to paste the link to the full preview to our pages to use it as the promotional tool also. The sale of the DVD wouldn't drop because of that I believe. This would be the same quality for everyone and also very useful for marketing GDI.

Thank you for reading my comment!

I would love to see it down to 15 minutes.  45 minutes is a long time to sit and watch. I took 2 nights to watch it.

It is looooonnnnnnggggg, yes, but think a bit! Why you would speak all this to the prospects and never managed to do it so good as one tool like this can. If you have really interested people around who are already almost redy to sign up, they will watch even 50 minutes long moovie. But yes I agree, you have to reserve a time - quite a lot of time -  there should not be the big rush. Ah, come on, people we're rushing too much already ...

Tatjana

Title: Re: DVD Full Preview...
Post by: Michael Geter on October 26, 2005, 09:45:01 PM
I agree with Tatjana's post.  Why is everybody in a rush?  The wait for your success in GDI is going to be MUCH longer than 45-50 minutes.  If you have a serious prospect who isn't thinking "get-rich-quick" they'll sit there and watch it.  And once they do they'll probably never make it through it ANYWAY because they'll be 'itching' to sign up under you.

Instant gratification... it's all the world is looking for now'a'days and that's the wrong way to go about introducing this business to people I think.  If your boss, who's been in the business for years told you to prepare a 45 minute presentation to entice buyers with your company would you tell him (who's been successful in it and knows what it takes) "awww, come on boss, how 'bout I just make a 15 minute one.  They'll get it!??" :-\  I don't think so.  He'd look at you like you were out your mind.

Let the founders and the GDI staff do their thing.  I personally think it's a great presentation/DVD and am looking forward to getting my copies to show ALL 45-50 minutes of everytime to my prospects.

Thank You GDI

Hi Michael:

I love your example.  I have downline members who ask about the history of GDI and the need for
the product.  They don't get it

Recently someone (not in my group) joined my mailing list where I do my drip campaigns (I promote
GDI).  A woman responded telling me GDI doesn't work.  She had joined 4 months ago and her
sponsor promised her $10,000 per month after 4 months.  She was upset that she wasn't making
that kind of money yet and I did feel bad for her.  I also felt bad for the rest of us as this type of
story can hurt all of us including GDI.  Word of mouth is powerful, both positively and negatively.

Just my two cents,

Alan

Uhhhh!!!!! When I promote GDI I never talk about money much and I also don't tell the prospect any time extension in which they'll earn a fortune. Hmmm if I'm honest I have come here for fun and the thought about earning something was just one more excitement added to whole thing. Well I'm not so serious about all this (as you can see reading my comments), but I never object to something what works for everyone. That DVD surelly will work for all of you ...

And finally. Can you have fun and doing a sirious business at the same time???

Try it! It can't hurt!!! And you have only one life after all!!!

Wow - when I review the dvd thing - I just get so completely blown away with the possibilities out there!  I have just sent a personal email to a person who had sold me something on ebay that she does custom work on.  Very nice person - so, I thought well, she's on ebay selling (had to close her auction down because of too many orders) - trying to make money - I just sent her the my domain website link... I'd like to be able to send her this dvd in a link - am I allowed to do this?

While prospects are viewing the movie, it references http://www.freedom.ws.  Once they go to that page, they are to enter the Affiliates Acess Code to continue.  This puts them into your GDI system and you have a new lead....so in short, it is for prospects/visitors to the site!

Dear Terry!

All this topic is one big "session" about that and you all already know my opinion.

Well, people - is it worth burn your own DVD by the price GDI offers for it to buy?

In the e-mail from "WS Affiliates" I've got these days says this: "Your cost per DVD will be just $2.95, including the professional packaging they come in."

Well, think now ...

If they will let us copy them, I am going to copy them. I can make 50 for $10 including my own "professional packaging."

I was hoping they would be like $25 for 50 copies. Instead, $25 will only get you 8 copies. That's only $8/month. No profit. And you can't always count on the weekly bonuses because they can come and go at anytime and who knows how many people would sign up out of those 8 copies that you gave out.

I say we should be allowed to copy.

Bryan, you may view the full version online at http://freedom.ws  It is a movie, so it will be long. That is the intent.  Most people do not make a decision based off of a one minute presentation nor will most make one off of just one viewing of this movie.  They may have to watch it a number of times.  That's the key, to capture their attention.  Now do not get me wrong, there are some that will get it the first time and sign up immediately!  This is just an additional marketing tool.  It is not mandatory that one purchase it at all.  More choices and tools to assist you in growing your GDI Business is what this is all about!

To your success!

Frank

p.s.  Based off me sending people the link to the movie, 2 people that have signed up and 3 considering in just 7-day period.  They have not seen the DVD, just the online presentation.  They will sit and watch it.  I just have to follow up and follow through with them.

Let me try to give you some perspective here.  I've been in other programs in the past that charged a lot more than this, for less than what we're getting.  Each DVD you order is going to come, as I understand it, with your Access Code and Contact information printed on the back cover.  The packaging is absolutely fantastic.  This is going to be such an incredibly impressive package to hand out or send out to prospects.  They can't help but be impressed.  It gives us credibility that we are representing a first class company -- which we are!

I understand, we all have to work within the budget we have.  But the old adage that it takes money to make money is still true.  It's like priming a pump.  Oh, I know in today's world very few people have seen an old fashioned water pump.  With those, you never drank the last bucket of water, but saved it to prime the pump for the next time you need water.  To get the valuable substance (water) that you wanted out of the pump, you had to first put in the very same substance to get it started.  Buying your business cards, leads, DVDs, etc are the same concept.  To build your business, you need effective tools.  GDI has put together the best, most polished approach I've ever seen.  But you need the tools to work the business.  Think of any expenditures along this line as investments into your business.  Work it, work it right, and work it hard, my friend, and this business will pay you back.  The money's there for us.  The sky's the limit.  It's all up to us to go after it.

I hope that helps.  Be encouraged, Chad.

Hello Bob!

Thanks you've joined me in this "copyright" campaign! Yes, you're right in all you've written here. I don't have unlimited budget either - as a matter in fact I don't have a budget at all at the momment, but still I'm willing to give those 2,95 for the DVD cause it really is a wonderful marketing tool especially for us in Slovenia as we aren't allowed to give clasified adds in the magazines and newspapers ...

Thank you GDI for the excellent marketing tools and a great opportunity!!!

I liked the DVD presentation as well. A part of me would love to be able to burn copies and save some money. At the same time with branding and image being a concern. Allowing people to do this could actually be detremental to GDI. That being said I think an approach that meets in the middle could have also been used. Maybe a special key for downloading and burning the copies and then offering the high quality packaging as part of a bundle with business cards or preprinted glossy flyers.

While prospects are viewing the movie, it references http://www.freedom.ws.  Once they go to that page, they are to enter the Affiliates Acess Code to continue.  This puts them into your GDI system and you have a new lead....so in short, it is for prospects/visitors to the site!

the dvd presentation is really cool ! how nice if GDI allows us to duplicate or replicate our own dvds. i am from malaysia and in fact we got many replicator that does the cd replication at a very very competitive price.
for 1000 dvds you are looking at usd 300 - usd 500 only!!!! depending whether it is dvd 5 or dvd 9 format...

Yes, I looked at that site. It's everything there, even full DVD online preview!!! This site is magnificent tool and I think I'll refer all my prospects to this site in the future. You can also see the cover package of the DVD there and it's really magnificent. SO i'LL BE ANNOYING AGAIN: WHY COPYING THINGS IF WE HAVE HERE ALL SET AND DONE FOR US AND EVEN MORE!!!

Bravo to designers as well! They did their job professionally (as always) The site has a bit newer and fresh look and gives you a kind of feeling that you belong here (looking from the prospects view).

All the best to all of you!!!

I liked the DVD it was very informative and another good tool to have to market and expand our GDI Business.

But also remember we need to add the human touch also to this when showing people the opportunity or the products.

Thanks for your ideas and suggestions.

Hmmmm, well: first for Denise Le: it says in the Preorder DVD that you will be able to modify the order, but I tiink - as much as I could understand from this - it will be the final notification before shipping the DVDs whether you want to change or cancel the perordered DVDs or not.

The second for SComini: It's not about marketing DVD but it's A MARKETING TOOL for marketing GDI, what means that you have one more marketing tool besides the flyers, business cards and all other tools for the offline marketing in addition to give them to the prospects.

Well, this is it!

Now go for it! Ups, I didn't do it yet!!!

Re sending prospects directly to the FREEDOM.WS page. If you do this you will need to implement you own ad tracking facility because there are NO HIT LOGS for the FREEDOM.WS page.

I originally thought it was an oversight by GDI for not implementing hit logs for it, so I sent an email to support. The reply said that the FREEDOM.WS page was to enhance the new DVD and there are NO hit logs for it.

This seems a little crazy to me because I think the Freedom page is great.

The only page that has the hit logs recorded by GDI is website.ws/yourusername, so don't do what I did and send people to FREEDOM.WS and wonder why there have been no hits to your site. (unless you are using a 3rd party ad tracking service)

YES it is important to track EVERY AD you put up in cyberspace - How else do you know what works and what doesn't?

Hello everyone.  The long awaited DVD is ready for shipment and ordering.  Log into your member's area at http://www.website.ws/members and get this marketing tool in your hands ASAP or go to http://www.dvd.ws and order from that page.  I ordered my copies this morning.  Because of the shipment method I chose, I should have them in my hand early next week.  If you are looking for a way to jumpstart your business, this will help.  We are well on our way!  I wish everyone tremendous success!

Sharing this DVD with others is a cheap and effective way to market the GDI opportunity and product.

The presentation is in English with 7 additional languages in audio: Spanish, German, French, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Portuguese.

This good to hear that the DVD will be sent out.  As this is what is needed to get non-english speaking people into GDI.  What concerns me though, is the Freedom.ws website going to have those languages available also?  So that these people can view the website and sign up in their language.

Hello...I forgot to give you an update on the DVD.  I received my copies of the DVD this past week.  Wow..all I can say is that the DVD will take your business to another level.  Everything is magnificient.  People that I have given them to over the past couple of days are intrigued to say the least...just from the appearance of the packaging.

The approach that I have taken is very simple.  I tell them that I have a movie that I would like them to watch.  I give them the DVD and state to them that I will contact you in two days to have the DVD returned to me.  They in turn have said "I will be sure to watch it and get it back to you in that timeframe". What that does is put them on a time table to view it, because they know I will return to get it back.  The key is to stike urgency and of course they comply.

I believe that is entirely too easy.  Once I meet with them, I will ask what they thought of it and if they have any additional questions.  You will know immediately if they are interested in the product and/or opportunity.  Once the DVD is returned to me, I then recycle and pass it on to another individual.

Hi

I have ordered three DVD's and received them.  I am very impressed and am hoping to launch a full mailout campaign around my neighbourhood offering free DVD's to people interested in starting a home business.  However it cost me over $30US for my three DVD's which is over $10US per DVD.  This is because of postage as I am in Australia.  Even if I order 100 at a time the DVD's are still over $450US once postage is included.  This is a major setback as I am extremely keen to get them out into the publics hands.  I have emailed GDI support to see if it's possible for me to get them produced locally or by myself and pay them for every one I produce as I would then save the postage costs but this is not able to be done.  Maybe if they could offer a sea shipping options it could work out much cheaper for international affiliates as it is rather expensive at the moment.  That way I could order one batch by air and then just order them a few months ahead by sea mail to save costs.

Just some thoughts.

Order the Phone Interviewed Leads that GDI has located in your back office.  I am using them personally and I can say they work great.  Everyone that you call remembers speaking to someone from our call center about making money at home! Just tell them you are going to send them an informational DVD showing them how to make money online with our company.  I just send out my DVDs and follow up. I've almost sent out to everyone on the entire list that I've bought. If you can get everyone in your entire downline using this method, then you're in for a treat because this is a very easy method that anyone can understand.  You shouldn't have many people quitting using this strategy.

I think each and everyone of us has thought about copying these dvds ourselves and distrbuting them to our prospects... but I must press the most important fact here. Showing our prospects that we are professional and that it truly is a life altering opportunity.

How will you give out that impression if you hand them a cheap copy? The proper DVD is beautifully manufactured and looks really great. First impressions are golden... Don't ruin the chance of a possible brilliant addition to your team and network over copying the dvd yourselves. Buy the dvd, it is not expensive at all and show everyone that you are serious and do mean business.

I'm curious about the DVD , I don't want to copy them because I want them to be top quality
My question is....Can we sell them instead of just giving them away ?
I want to charge $10 each...If after they view the DVD and decide not to join they could return the
DVD to me for a refund , as long as the DVD has not been damaged
If they do join my downline , I'll use that $10 and give them a couple more DVD'S to share with their friends
to help them get started.....Can we do that  ?

Thanks

Umm, actually, if GDI says that it is okay for affiliates to duplicate the DVD’s, then it wouldn’t impinge on any copyright laws because they unequivocally agreed to let us reproduce them. In my opinion, it shouldn’t matter because it would ultimately benefit them anyway. Think about it.
Hello all im new at this but i would love a copy of the DVD ON MY SITE .I know DVDS work and im sure with advertising and having a ready copy to show people would be an advantage not just to us but to GDI,i JOINED  AS SOON AS I Watched the DVD ,i just thought it natural that we would be able to put it on our sites ,i thought it would be already one of the features that had to be on it ,I have been in a few business opportunities and the video was the main selling of the business with any other company it is a must because they know that the DVD WORKS IT BENEFITS THE COMPANY BIG TIME.

When I watch the video, the sound is constantly breaking up. It's so annoying that even though I am already "sold", I can't stand to watch it for more than a couple of minutes.

Does anyone know what causes this? Do I need to upgrade something? My computer has plenty of power but it may not have all the latest updates. I cannot see what program it is using to play this video.

Ok, I am in search of the full information of the DVD. I know I read it somewhere but am looking for all the "rules" that go along with this Dvd.

1. The freedom .ws site has "request" a "free" DVD from your sponsor. "Sponsor" means myself...but I am a sponsor when they are in
their "7" day "free" trial or I am a sponsor after their "7" day "free" trial OR I am a sponsor to any and all who "request" a "free"
DVD???...Just wondering because people DO like "free" things...lol

2. Now, when they are requesting their "free" DVD...is this request going to the e-mail address that we originally used to sign-up? If yes,
can we get it switched to one of our .ws e-mail addresses???

3. In order to receive "bonus" money you need to have purchased at least one DVD? Is this the same for regular commissions?

4. And finally, if we do not send a prospect the DVD and someone in our up line does...than that prospect goes to the up line?

I just want to get it straight for the people I talk to. I like putting everything right up front...nothing hidden... :)

THANK YOU!!!

1. You are the sponsor when they sign up on your page.

2. Emails from GDI to you are sent to the email address you have on file. This can be changed by you in your members area under account info.

3. You must have purchased at least ten (10) DVDs through your GDI account and your account must be paid and in good standing. Regular commissions are paid whether you buy the DVDs or not.

                                       Purchase 10 DVDs

Testimonial - provide a short testimonial about GDI's opportunity and/or product to ws_testimonials@wsdomains.ws along with your permission to use it on our testimonials WebSite.

Promotional Tip - with your testimonial, include a promotional or sponsoring tip that will help other affiliates duplicate your success.

Photo of yourself in JPEG (.JPG) format - attach a photo of yourself to the email you send to ws_testimonials@wsdomains.ws.

The .WS email address to which you would like your winnings paid through PayPal

4. The person will sign up under where they are directed. The DVDs are designed for you to place your ID on the package so the prospect has an ID to use. Thus being placed direct to the person with the given ID.

My personal thought on this is to get your 10 DVDs and hand them to people you know or meet locally. Then reuse them after your prospect watches it.  I do not promote the generic Freedom.ws website. No need. You can send them a link via email to the complete DVD movie.

I knew a lot of people put that DVD on their websites and couldn't understand why people would request one when you can give them the site to watch it. So, it's basically about being able to receive your "bonus" money. No worries, I know they are a GOOD TOOL for sales and will be ordering my 10.  8)

Has any one experienced any success after mailing a DVD to
someone who has requested it?

This can be quite costly, figuring the shipping and handeling charges.
In some countries you don't seem to have a choice on the shipping
method and it might cost over 20.00 . To me this seems like an awful
lot since you don't know if this person is serious or just looking for a
handout.

I would appreciate some input on this subject.

Thanks and Blessings!

Post by: DevinKrishna on July 11, 2007, 03:27:42 PM
Hi

Im from New Zealand and Im wanting to purchase 10 DVDs. The system will not allow me to submit the order, says Ive got the address wrong. After contacting Support they first told me that they dont ship outside of the USA due to issues with their delivery companies. I then asked how I can participate in the bonus program should I sign 5 associates in a week (purchasing 10 DVDs is a requirement for this bonus program). They said they would put together a manual quote and came back with $29.50 for 10 DVDs, shipping $84.48!!!! I ordered a book last month from the USA and shipping was $10 and I got the book within 4 days.

Is anyone else outside of the USA having problems purchasing DVDs? Or has anyone managed to purchase DVDs and if so could you kindly tell me how you did it?

thanking you in advance.
Devin Krishna

Title: The Magic of DVD's
Post by: Matthew A on July 21, 2007, 01:53:52 AM
Hello,

Ten DVD's is $36.71(thats everything). Once my labels are on them I'll never ask for them back. Those DVD's will wind up on coffe tables and such. Then others see it and inquire. Just order more and have your team duplicating it too. 20 a month is a nice number . Thats one everyday of week excluding weekends. It also puts you in the work your biz mode by handing out one a day. Your team will do what you do also.

Title: Buy?
Post by: VSera on July 23, 2007, 04:51:59 PM
Buy DVDs...buy leads...buy...what's up with that? If I could afford to blow $200 a month on DVDs, I wouldn't be searching for added income. I don't know about everyone else, but as a poor man looking to succeed, I look for free and low cost methods to advertise. Talking to people, placing free adds, flyers, etc. are ways I'm trying to keep the overhead down and it's the advice I'll pass down. I bought the business cards (the minimum amount) because I can make the most use out of them and 1 DVD to show folks at home/work. I'm here to help myself and my downline and part of that is keeping the cost down (especially at the onstart). I may have to put forth more effort and time, but that I CAN afford to do. I believe this program can work, I just don't believe it should be on account of buying more stuff.

Title: Does anyone tryed the DVDs? How do they work?
Post by: Zuzana Crossley on July 31, 2007, 02:58:57 PM
Does anyone tryed the DVDs? How do they work? I'm asking because I think is quite expensive as I just starting and my current job dont pay me much, so If I gonna buy some I want to know how much they work? For example, if you send 10 DVDs, how many from them will on average register? Thank you... ;)

Hi I am in New Zealand. I sent the company a request for a DVD and at first they had trouble understanding what I was talking about.  I thought my English must be bad. I also kept getting the message on the order page that they didn't ship to this area so I wrote to them and asked what about posting me a DVD. Well the 3rd email came back saying they could ship me a pack of 10 DVDs and the shipping cost was $158 and that would be US dollars. I thought how stupid. Some one wants to make money out of these DVDs. It's like another MLM business I am in and all my profit went on training tools. Lets get real here, we aren't all stupid, It's domain names we are selling. I simply joined this business because there was no selling involved and both me and my husband like networking so why can't we copy this video and distribute it freely. Some areas in New Zealand haven't got broadband and the speed of the broadband we have here is a joke so any country with the same problem will find it hard to recruit new members. I think the company has overlooked this point and I think it is their responsibility to put all their signed up members on an even playing field. My suggestion is that they have shipping or postage to every country and at a reasonable rate because most of us have joined to make some money out of this exercise. I may have to change my whole approach to this business. We will attempt to change our web page as I think we have got too much imformation on the page.Something isn't working to have only signed up 1 person in a month.

I agree,

I am from South Africa.  $2.95 might not sound much to you people in the USA or UK, but $2.95 is about R25.00 here and I can buy allot of food with that money.  Like Ligita said, we also have dial-up here in South Africa. The link takes for ever to download.

We have joined GDI firstly because we can see the benefit in it as the INTERNET in general is very expensive here in South Africa.
$10 a month is much cheaper than our local hosting fees.  Secondly we joined to make money, if I had the money to pay $2.95 for a DVD and then give it away not knowing if I will see it again, I would not have bothered with the opportunity.

I think GDI must identify publishing or reproductive houses in the different countries to produce and ship the DVDs under licence to the GDI members in the respective countries.

Or they should Identify leaders in that counties to take up the challenge to sours such companies as I spoke about.  I personally know of such a company that have made Cd's and DVDs for companies like Microsoft and Pastel.

I would be Happy to have a chat to this company and get quotes from them if there is more demand in SA.

Cheers

Title: Are the DVDs the most powerful method at recruiting??
Post by: NeilClues on September 04, 2007, 03:21:34 AM
I've not actually purchased any dvds, reprints or business cards as of yet!
Do the dvds work when recruiting new affiliates and are they the most powerful method of marketing with GDI??

Thanks, Neil, United Kingdom  :)

Title: Live Presentations
Post by: Kurt Tasche on September 06, 2007, 05:01:33 PM
I am thinking about holding a live presentation of the GDI opportunity.  (One of the local restaurants will let me use their extra dining room for this at no extra charge, as long as we order food!  ;D)  As part of the presentation, I plan to show the GDI DVD, and talk a bit about the GDI opportunity, and answer any questions.  I also will have my laptop, with online access, for anyone who wants to start their free trial right there.

My question is, has anyone else done a live presentation, and how effective was it?  Also, what did your presentation consist of, and how was it structured.

Thank You

Hi Pete,

Thanks for that info ... one question who pays for the DVD?  The client requesting the DVD or you as the sponsor?   It would be good to know.  One might say yes to many people and end up with huge bill to pay.

Does anyone know if we can advertise the DVD's on ebay and charge just enough to cover the cost of shippinp and pay for the ad.
I thought of this idea to generate leads but I don't know if its ok.

I think that you need to contact the support department regarding this question. You can e-mail them at affiliates@wsdomains.ws   or call them at 760-602-3000

Take Care,

I'm pretty sure you could do that, but honestly... would you pay for an advertisement?

Hi,
I am french too. No there are no cards in French but you can buy some for almost free on vistaprint.fr ;)
I am a bit disapointed about GDI because there is no translation in french of website.ws :( I really hope it would be one some day.
Maybe some members could do the translation (My english is too bad for doing it ). If there is someone who speak french and english, you should contact GDI and do the translation :D It would be GREAT !

See you later everybody

Hello there,

I am new at GDI and I am about to purchase the DVDs so I can promote this business.

My question is:
Are those DVDs way different from the content on Replicated Sites?
It may be a silly question for you, but I need more info on this.

Regards,
MG

I feel the DVD's are absolutely wonderful! For those of you who plan on ordering them to use them in your marketing and recruiting, definitely be sure to pop in a copy and watch the "Full Presentation" and the "Summary". There is some lifestyle imagery that is given in the "Full Presentation" that is wonderful and can be worked into your follow up conversation. The "Summary" I would use for people who are hesitant to watch it, for this you need a shorter, straight-to-the point approach and the "Summary" does an excellent job at this, I feel. But watch both versions and think about how to use them when giving the to people. Also you can take notes and learn a lot about our product and opportunity!

Hey everyone,

When I go around to peoples houses and present the DVD this is the script that I use. Feel free to adapt it to suit your personality and needs:
"Hi, my name is Preston Blarek! How are you doing today? (engage in casual conversation if you choose) The reason I stopped by today is that I am actually a local business owner and I am just trying to network and get the word out about my business. (I get the DVD out of my bag and say the following) I actually have a promotional DVD that I purchased from our Company that talks about our business and gives you more information on who we are and stuff. If you could just take a few moments out of your day to just take a peek at the DVD that would be great and I would really appreciate it! I do purchase the DVD's and use them again, so if I could stop back around (name a date usually one to two days in advance) to get it from you that would be great! What time would work best? (confirm time) Awesome, great and thanks! Oh and when I come get the DVD, I can also answer any questions you may have for me or about my business! Thanks again for taking the time to talk to me and for watching the DVD! Here's my business card in case you have any questions! I will see you on (say the scheduled time and date of follow-up)!"

And thats it! Pretty easy huh? No selling, you get to meet some awesome people and build relationships with them, you set up a follow up time which puts on very light and easy pressure for them to watch the DVD and get the picture. I am sure most people will have questions afterwords, so just answer them honestly and try and help them to the best of your ability!

I love the GDI dvd! But I think if this GDI video (http://website.ws/kvmlm2/index.dhtml?sponsor=cashflowforums&template=11) was played before the DVD video, that would really get new prospects excited to watch the entire DVD!

I would also love to be able to order the GDI DVD's directly to Australia, to my knowledge it is currently not possible!
Thanks again!
