Hello to all GDI members,

My name is Janet Legere and I'm the founder of the Contact List Builder and a proud member of GDI.

I am so excited to come here and share with you an invitation to join in on my live online training that I offer to GDI members. I started this training back in June of this year after sending out an email to my contact list.

It was a simple email, asking if anyone needed help with their GDI business. I knew that I had many people on my list who were in GDI but not necessarily in my downline. My goal in business is to help everyone understand and maximize this great opportunity and I wanted to open the doors to anyone who wanted help.

Well .. I had no idea so many wanted help. Over 300 people responded ... I was overwhelmed and knew I couldn't possibly answer all these requests. And so, I decided to hold weekly meetings to offer my tips and techniques, answer questions and help members take action.

At our weekly sessions, we talk about the important areas in your GDI back office and then discuss general marketing strategies that work to help you build a good strong downline in GDI. Our workshops are held online using Hot Conference technology and classes are every Wednesday at 3:00PM and 8:00PM Eastern time.

During our live sessions, I am known to encourage members to take action and suggest a good first step would be for you to register for our next live class:

These weekly workshops are open to anyone in GDI and you are welcome to bring your guests and your downline. My focus is to help you make the most of your GDI membership. Hi Janet,

I'm Eddie from Malaysia. I just joined GDI a few days ago and just came across this thread. I missed the 25/10 session but will make it a point to join the next wednesday session on 1st Nov.

Due to the time difference, 8pm Wednesday in New York would mean 8am Thursday here in Malaysia. Oh well the early morning session shd be worth it :)

BTW, how long does a session usually last? Is the session interactive? Do i need special software to join in?

Nice of you to offer GDI training, but like Eddie I'm in another time-zone - US conference calls are usually at round about 2am here :(. Is there any possibility of you recording those training sessions at all? ;)

Hi Janet,

Upon listening to Rick Jorgenson Tycoon back office training I discovered that I need to learn how to setup a website and blog, and you were recommended for training. Since I am a GDI member I had this information right here at hand, but did not know about it until now. I live in Arizona, and would like to register for the Wedsnesday class at 8:00 est time. I believe that would be 6:00 pm Az time to get started. Please let me know if that you will be good.

I need help in accessing Tuesday and Thursday nights calls

Up to now I have always been able to access these calls using the above pin code but just recently I have been getting a message saying I need a security code,does anyone have this. Also on the last conference call there was mention of access online through the conference room and when the website was mentioned last I was not able to get this down right. Does anyone have the website. I find the calls extremely helpful and would appreciate any help.

I have just started listening to some of the old recordings and have singed up for the chats. I found the first one I listened too to be informative and positive. I have set up an email account with my Domain name as was suggested, as well as downloaded the report that was available, and will start working on Lead Capture page as soon as I have finished reading the report.

When I first joined GDI, there were conference calls on Tues and Thurs nights. There were also training calls with Marty from AZ and Tim from NC.
Did those call discontinue. Are there new conference calls being held for marketing and training!!!

Exactly absolutley nothing and everything to gain.

I, too, am rather new to GDI (going on three weeks) and I just noticed this thread now! I went on over to the link provided in the initial post and registered, even though one of the headings says "New Classes Coming Soon". I truly hope it is indeed soon as I think I could gain a WEALTH of info on this stuff. I know it really has not been a long time with my involvement in GDI but I have not had a single sign up, even though I am advertising like NUTS as well as the whole flyer thing.

I truly do not wish to give up on GDI in the future -- I really want this to be successful for me as I believe in the enormous potential in this wonderful company. :)

I have a question? Doesn't it make more sense for upline sponsors, consistantly on the leaderboard, to share what they are doing with their downline folks?
It seems to me, by duplicating their marketing strategies both upline and downline business would grow faster.
A win/win situation.
What happened to upline helping downline to earn 80% of income from 10% of other's work?

Some of the marketing methods may only work if it's not too over saturated.
Say for example somebody started off by promoting using adwords and pay per click.
The keywords to bid in the beginning may be low and the ad copy is fresh, so you can get many people to click the ads at a cheap rate.
But when this method is taught to the mass, everybody is rushing to bid for the same keywords => increased in price.
And your audience keeps seeing the same ads, so they won't even bother to click them.

So at the end of the day, anyone who wants to be really successful must still innovate.
I agree 100% that we need uplines on the leaderboard to share, but ultimately we must differentiate.

Help, It is like 3:00am and I am wide awake trying to think about marketing for GDI. I am newbie to this as of a week and I need to make this work. I am a stay at home mom so this is revenue for our family. I have not had any sign ups, sending the website, adding to forums,posting ads, etc. I understand this is a numbers game so I know I have to do the hits to get the members. I also started my website, not sure if that is up and working correctly yet. HELP

Hi all well I finally have a few minutes to post. I think any training is good and that we all will learn something of value. I think it is great that you are doing this. I am also glad to see that the training is recorded. As for signing up people it will come with time. It is all in the promotion. I have not done anything with the program myself until now. I have three signed up and eighty two heading that way with a little prodding. The system works just have faith. Thought for the day! A day with out learning is a day wasted. My name is kristen Sather I am very green horn at this still trying to understand the concepts of all of this. I am on my seven day trial right now and would like to continue on with this oppertunity. I just need some really helpful hints if you would be able to work one on one with me but If you can't that is fine because I know you are busy. I did sign up for your training sessions and hopefully I can make them. Not easy with a 5 year old so I will try my best. My name is Makere Simmonds from New Zealand I have not yet started any training and would surely love to just still quite loss in the procedures.
I fell apon the GDI system when I went through The SpiderWeb system program . I have manged to gain more followers to setup the spiderweb system and now
I have 3 leads from doing this and one is now a GDI member. I find this more helpful to promote the system then to promote GDI. However way it works this is the way its working for me

I found that in your profile.
That's the code that your prospect will use so that you will be credited as their sponsor if they join you.

I find that promoting online is easier and most important of all -- it's rejection free :)
There are many ways to advertise to the world wide internet users, for someone who is new, perhaps you can try out the methods below:
1) blogging
2) traffic exchanges
3) forums

And, what's better than that is that it's recorded so I can donwload it to my IOD and listen to the recordings on my way to work. Hi Janet, My first time on the Form and looking at your training site information. It looks great and something I plan to take part in. 8/26 will not be possible but hopefully 9/2. I am struggling with getting started w/ adv, leads, etc. Have been getting good upline help and suggestions but have "dial-up" and that makes everything much slower and more difficult to process. So much for the hurdles, will have to persevere and take it one step at a time.
