Title: Business Cards - Which design? Post by: Nathan Brooks on August 03, 2006, 12:26:34 PM Hey I was just curious if someone here has used both style of business cards and has come to the conclusion that one works better than the other? I kinda like the original design myself with the 1800 number recording on there.
Thank you Nathan Brooks Title: Re: Business Cards - Which design? Post by: Darren Olander on August 04, 2006, 11:00:25 AM Hey nathan its good to see you here! I like the original red ferrari one better. I believe it has more appeal.

Might want a couple of varieties. Lynette Title: Re: Business Cards - Which design? Post by: Werner_K on August 19, 2006, 04:47:56 PM In my opinion, who doesn't have one, the old design is somewhat awkward to fit into a wallet.
The NEW is more like a business card. Again, OPINIONS! Wernerk Title: Business Cards - How do YOU use them? Post by: VParker on December 02, 2006, 06:38:13 AM Tomorrow I shall be ordering GDI business cards. Why tomorrow? Well, I only 'allow' myself a certain amount each month to spend on advertising and promoting products.
I actually have two questions. One, what kind of card do people seem to respond to more? I was thinking the new one, as it appears more serious. Second, how do you distribute your cards? How do you present your card to people you do not know? (Ok, three questions...) Thanks for your responses and have a grrrreat day! Vincent R. Parker Title: Re: Business Cards - Which design? Post by: JudyC on December 02, 2006, 09:15:13 PM Hello,
If I understand this correctly, based on what I read in the forum, the new card sends the potential customer to the site that asks if the person wants a DVD. Then YOU get billed for it. That looks awfully financially risky to me as someone who is just starting with this. But if you don't agree to pay for it , the order goes upline. That would mean that somebody else would pay, but they'd also get the customer. So your recruiting effort has been wasted as far as your own downline is concerned. I can see that a successful upline person could afford to pay for all the requested DVDs, but I don't think most beginners are ready for that expense. Please correct me if I'm wrong. This is what I understood from reading other posts in the forum and it appears to be accurate. Title: Re: Business Cards - Which design? Post by: S_Alcoya on December 02, 2006, 10:24:46 PM Yes It could be risky. You have to buy 10 dvds to qualify for the bonus pool.
I had few to request a dvd. They end up joining my team. Not all will join. Its good to test it out. Title: Re: Business Cards - Which design? Post by: BKamanski on December 04, 2006, 03:12:26 AM I am using the Free Vista Print cards and they are starting to work. If you ask my wife she will tell you I am the original cheapskate! Not so cause if I am in Las Vegas I am ordering Surf and Turf at Gallagher's! Everyone has to know their limitations...LOL
:) ;) :D ;D :( :o 8) 8) :'( :-* :-\ :-X :-[ :P ::) Title: Re: Business Cards - Which design? Post by: VParker on December 06, 2006, 01:42:40 AM Well, thank you very much for that great tip, BKamanski! I just placed my free order!
Title: Re: Business Cards - Which design? Post by: George Gonzalez on January 08, 2007, 01:16:48 AM I got the new version of the GDI business cards and had no success with them at all, I orderd 1000 cards and really wasted my money. I think that the ferrari cards are better. I might try those next. But for the price that 1 print offers business cards I going to see if I can make my own business cards. Although I did not get any signups to GDI everyone that I handed my cards out too said that they loved the card ( i thought that was pretty cool) I mean they are really nice cards.
but that was my own personal experience with the Income For Life GDI business cards. Good luck to everyone else Title: Re: Business Cards - Which design? Post by: CliffR on January 08, 2007, 01:16:48 AM Hi all..
New guy here, and glad to be here. Where can I get the free vista print cards? I must be missing something obvious. Thanks for any help. Cliff Title: Re: Business Cards - Which design? Post by: George Gonzalez on January 08, 2007, 08:23:23 PM You can get free samples of the cards at http://www.1print.ws/index.shtml?printws
all you do is click on free samples and fill in the stuff and they will mail them to you. I did this so that I could physically see the cards and its pretty cool. They will send you there different types of cards. Good luck Title: Re: Business Cards - Which design? Post by: CliffR on January 10, 2007, 07:59:05 PM Thanks very much, George. I'll try that.

If you like the cards - Buy them - If you don't like the cards don't buy them, but you need to promote YOUR business to have any success. FOCUS on production - you control your activity. Title: Made my first Business cards! Post by: PamelaR on February 20, 2007, 08:57:08 AM Hello,
I just wanted to share this. :D I decided to try and make a few business cards...and I think they came out pretty good! It was easy and fun, too. I went to my local Walmart and for about $4 I got a package of Avery business cards/150 ct. I wanted to test out the waters before I got BUNCHES of them..LOL It was fun to pick out and design and so easy! Now mine are a bit different than all others. ;) I made a few for potential leads, and some for marketing to Businesses. I would like to show you picture of them, but don't know how to get them on here.. :( Pam Title: Business Cards Post by: Tanja R on March 20, 2007, 06:43:08 PM Can I make up my own Business Cards or do I have to use the once that I order here?

Tanja Hello, You are not limited to only using the cards GDI has in your back office. You have the right to go out and create your own. I wish you well! |
