Title: Drupal plugin stops giving me access as Drupal admin - 1 subdomain after another
Post by: AddySuhut on June 12, 2012, 11:01:03 AM
Hi folks,

I'm building a few websites using the Drupal 6.19 plugin that came with GDI.

While enabling Drupal contributed / core-optional modules within the Drupal environment, I find myself (as the user #1 with admin priviledges) suddenly not being able to access the entire admin-module page, even after logging out & re-logging in.

Effectively, I had been downgraded to "normal" user without admin priviledges. Since this happened on 3 occasions (3 plugin installations of Drupal at 3 subdomains), this certainly seems to be a serious recurring error that would render the Drupal plugin useless for GDI users, not to mention the effort lost in building the websites so far.

- Has anyone experienced this problem & found solutions to it?

- Since the rest of the website appears intact, do you think it would be possible for me to review the database table that controls the usernames & user roles/priviledges & repair it to provide me admin access again? If so, where/how do I do access this database?

On the 2nd bullet point, there's a related forum topic that discusses accessing the database for WordPress at http://talk.ws/index.php?topic=13911.msg36439#msg36439 (http://talk.ws/index.php?topic=13911.msg36439#msg36439). I'm hopeful that someone (eg. from that thread) could shed light on doing the same for the Drupal 6.19 plugin.

Thanking you all in advance for helping me find a cure for this.   ???
