Global Domains International

Ok so... I am new here and do not know what it means to build a "team".  I have looked for topics on the left bar to find anything regarding "teams", but I could not find anything.  I know what Upline and Downline is, and how they benefit each other.... but I have seen people actually giving out links to sign up as part of a "team", which leads me to believe this isn't just some way of some person building his/her own Downline.  If anyone has anything to share on this, it would be very helpful.
