Hi everyone, Well here I go. My name is Craig I am from the England. I am a current business owner as a children's indoor play centre in the UK. I have just joined this exciting business model that I hope is going to lead to a well earned second income. I was involved in a previous property business and indoor play centre's for many years but 2 years ago when the recession started it killed everything that I worked to create (which was very hard to digest). Thankfully I have created a new repeat business which has been trading locally for over a year now and doing very well as my primary income. Since me and my partner (Helen) established our local business again I decided to look for an online business as a second income. I searched and found many scams and dull businesses online but as I own some domains and pay to host my current play centre website I found this company to be professional and appealing.

I have to be honest I have never parted with any money online for a business but this business I did. I realised if its quiet appealing to me then it will be to others who are as sceptical about online business ventures (thank god for spell check skeptical did not workl)

So, back to my free time and online business that my upload has presented to me. Got to be honest its very interesting considering the millions of potential customers and available domain names. All its takes is putting the word out I am sure the future is the internet and web based businesses. Well that's how I see it.

My name is Louise, and I am Definately backwards in coming forwards were the Internet and Marketing are concerned.
I joined yesterday and I feel like a fish out of water.
I joined after signing up for other numerous Online Business's that cost a fortune monthly and you made nothing.
However I moved out to Bulgaria 18 months ago along with my 3 children and my mother, and we now have 4 dogs, 4 cats and 15 chickens,
all of which need feeding.
The funds are dwindleing, and I really do not want to go back to the UK.
My children are all fluent Bulgarian, and I am useless, it must be my age affecting my brain cells it goes in one side and comes out of the other. LOL
Please  advise as to how to make this a lucrative business, I believe it is a good business, I just dont know were to start. I need help, or even a  To do List

Hello every one,I'm Roger and just joined GDI and wanted to say hello and best things for you all. I'm from the Pacific Northwest, Wash. St. I am retired from heavy building trades after 35+ years and am 75 years old. Bonnie and I have been married for 45+ years and have 2 daughters with their own family's.

My hobbies are wood working,fishing,surfing the internet , reading and writing. I like to spend time with my 8 grand kids and of course the rest of my family. I live in probably one of the greatest fishing areas for fresh water fish. There are at least 100 lakes and streams in a 100 mile radius that are assessable by car or truck, and many more hike in lakes and streams.

I'm not to sharp on the computer, I never touched one till about 2 years ago and bought one to just see what it was all about. I took a liking to it and now I am trying to cash in on the internet explosion that the gurus tell me about. No windfall has overtaken me yet,  ;D . Well its sack time and I'll say goodnight. My name is Simon and I am new in this forum.
My technical skills in the internet stuff could be much better I must admit, and therefor I hope there is someone out there who can give me an answer about a specific question about sending messages to leads. :(

My problem is that I am offered a great number of leads every month which I am permitted to send messages in order to possible sign up.
I am able to download it to a CSV file and that´s it.

I have tried several times to import these leads to my contacts on my gmail account without success.
Google also have an article inside who explain you how to do, but it didn´t work for me. >:(

I would love to get some step by step guide line from you if you have some time to offer.

I have  always had the mentality of an entrepreneur and didn't learn it until this first semester of college.  I found the root to alot of my thinking, I basically discovered myself.  Finding this website, everything just CLICKED.  Something so simple, can evolve and have a dynamic change in society.  It is something I have been looking for a long time now.  I feel I can use this to my advantage because I have basically grown up with technology.  I also have been noticing social media is something a lot of investors are going to  be putting their money into.  I'm part of the generation that has been through the internet liftoff. I also have the perspective to give to people of what's cool and want to share my knowledge with everyone. I am working on a business plan with my brother and a friend of mine, and also want to start a blog for myself. Social networking is amazing, but it also should be used more with word of mouth.  The internet is causing relationships to crumble.  If we can still have internet and more human interaction, we are golden.  And this site I feel is the start of what I think will do amazing things!  I would like to hear what other people are doing with this so I can have a better understanding on how to use it 100 % wisely.  I've discovered this site today and read the forums and learned alot already!

Just wanted to say that you can make real money with alot of programs if you put in the time and effort.
I am new to this GDI also but am a member of a number of other programs.
If you go to the leader boards in the members area you can make a Quick $100.00 for getting 5 PEOPLE to join in any given week.
At one time a couple of years AGO getting 5 sign ups was not a problem in one week. Today it is a little harder but not impossible.
If you can do this a couple of times your business will be off to a great start. And should do great your years to come.
If you want I can give you the name and link to a great program that I have used for the past two years and sponsored 154 into one of my programs in about 8 months.
It is not free but is a great program for getting  ads out at the rate of 5500 emails every three days as a paid member. It does get results.

I actually joined in Dec. 2010 and just poppin in now to say "Hi". This is my third time giving GDI a try and I'm determined to make a success of it this time. Not sure why I ever quit as I would probably have some residual just from spillover by now. For 10 a month I can't go wrong. It's a great adjunct to other things I do.

Hi All. I am Shawn and I joined a couple of days ago.
My formative years were wasted in an Orphanage. I developed a very healthy disrespect for "Authority" and Society as a whole. Cynicism became my middle name and the ability to laugh in the face of Adversity was my forte.
In 1959 I started my Apprenticeship as a car mechanic and spent my entire life helping other people with their car problems. In later years, the stresses and strains resulted in a minor stroke --- the body's way of telling me to slow down so after retiring I took up the computer. Perhaps it’s my mechanical thinking but I took to it like a duck to water so the last few years have been taken up with networking but still looking to make that breakthrough. Hopefully I can do that here at GDI.

Im started on GDI on february 2011 and i already have 2 persons interested on. That wasnt easy , becouse in mexico the network marketing have bad publicity, i speak for my self , . In the past so many people try to sell me a lot of supplements you know what im talking about, but i have LUPUS desease , and say forget it ,  i cant gamble with my health , ,,, When i get sick , the only work can do it was stay in front the PC , becouse the sun affects me. So i started a buissnes editing video , and always wanted to make a WEbsite , then a friend invite me to this and he offers himself to teach me how to make my web page , and thats was the key to me to open the idea to get GDI , so i realize that make a WEB page it was so simply to me , if i had met before GDI... Welll , the technique i use to get people its to talk about the product and not the buissnes yet,... after their try the product , i tell about the buissness,. so they realize its a product that offers what it says,,.. thats the best publicity... test the product, and my advise is ,.. sell the product to some one who need it ,... at first ,. when you grow your downline start with the people who wants money,.. becouse you can show with proof , that your earning money , so its by stages.,...

Thank you so much for your honesty. I live in Atlanta , Ga and wanted a website for years but knew it was gonna cost me. The only thing about the company I found distubing is the support from upline. I can't reach anyone so maybe they arent involved anymore.  I completly agree with on the fact that you should market to the people that actually want a business because who would turn down a domain for 10.00 a month.  I love my website and will use it for my future business. I'ts possible I too will have two new sign ups shortly but right now none.  I just started 2 weeks ago and I'm learning something new everyday. I have undergone 3 open heart surgeries but I thank God that I suffer no ill effects and can lead a very normal active life. The way to get referrals is advertise, advertise, advertise.  Even if you don't have any money to start out with.  Advertise in all the free places you can just to get your link out there.  :)  Word of mouth is good, but you need to put all your links out on the internet so lots of people can see it.  So far I have advertised on 11 different free sites. But I plan on doing lots more.  Can't wait to see what the results will be.  ;D

Yeah all the uplines here suck.  Mine keeps sending me automated emails to join when I been a member already for a while.  The only way is to basically find a decent upline and sign up under them. 

I am in the same boat and have been doing some good research.  there is a lot of sites around here all trying to get more of your money but there is strength in numbers.  I think if you get a good group of real people helping each other out, this thing could actually be profitable.

My name is Darrie I'm in the UK and have been a member for two weeks now. I am actively committed to making this venture a success and have set myself some rather high targets to aim for. The biggest of those is to be the leading GDI recruiter in the UK. So I have started with five sites and am experimenting in different ways with each of them to optimise traffic,although this is not my only avenue for sign ups. This is a learning curve for me so I would welcome any support or advice from established or new members that have experience in SEO techniques,or even of things I could be ,should be doing or looking out for.
I have requested a quote for DVD's 20 to start with and am shocked at the overseas cost of shipping them it is $119 plus the $59 for the DVD's so if anyone knows of a cheaper way to supply then that would be welcomed too as I will be needing many more than that in the near future.

I'm not going to go into a long explanation simply because I just don't have the time.

But here's a short one.

Have you ever been in one of those phone shops on the high street...you know, the ones like Vodafone, O2, Carphone Warehouse etc etc

Well if you have...you might of noticed some of the employees there, that come running up to you with a nice big GRIN on their face wanting to sell you something. The reason they're so eager to sell you something is because if they make a sale....they receive a commission.

A commission is a certain percentage of the sale price. So lets say an employee was entitled to 50% commission for a new phone that costs $100...that would be $50. So if an employee sells that new phone, they get $50 added onto their pay slip.

Now lets go back to GDI. The GDI affiliate program is just like a phone shop...affiliates sell GDI products and receive a commission from each and every sale. Now the best thing about GDI is that customers do not pay a one time fee....they pay a monthly recurring fee. This means you (as an affiliate) get a monthly recurring commission.

The difference between a phone shop and GDI's affiliate program?

- GDI sell Domains, hosting and everything in between.

- A phone shop sells phones.

- GDI products are mainly promoted online.

You get the point....

I'm going to cut it short there. There is plenty of information on the web about GDI and its amazing affiliate program. Just do a quick Google search.

Hi Maya,

Changing from basic to premium is pretty easy.
Go to your GDI member's page and on the left hand side you would see a TAB that says 'GDI Premium' ride below the 'Home' TAB
Click on it then you would see an option that says 'Add Premium Package'

Make sure you've entered the right domain name in the address bar. If the issue still exists, check your DNS settings.

You can check your DNS settings by logging into your members area and clicking the 'Domains' tab. Then click 'Change DNS' on the domain your having the issue with. Make sure the correct DNS setting is selected. If it's not, select the correct DNS setting and give it 24 - 48 hrs for the change to take affect.

Hi I did sign up today so I am all new in GDI: I wonder how I should  start up this business.
I thought that I should have a swedish sponsor but somewhere I lost him and got someone from USA.  ??? I also thought that I should pay 10 $ a month but ended up with 40 $ a month ??? I think I did sign up for a premium membership. Am I right?

 ??? Why am I paying $50 per month in stead of the agreed of $17. I find this very costly; the cheaper the product is the more that it is sold. Can someone tell me why an additional cost, since I am on a shoe string budget and is unable to maintain this cost if it is monthly.

Good to know that you are super excited! :)
Well as for me i joined GDI in January.
I invested a lot of time,like more than 3-4 hours a day and i had no success at all neither did i generate any income.
But recently in May i had a lot of hits and a lot of people joining up under me.
And now i have regular hits and people interested in signing up.
So i must say that all the time i had invested and all the hard work i did was all worth it in the end!

I have been using the replicate site since when i joined so i guess yeah it is pretty much effective.
Building your own website would require some more effort and time but that would be all worth it as well! :)
You must make your website look good enough for people want to sign up.
If you cannot come up with a good idea for it then use the replicated websites.

Check out mine.
It's what most of the top people GDI are using to promote their business.

I do some online advertising (still learning on that). I do a lot of off line advertising by passing out my business cards everywhere I go. I do live in a tourist area...Orlando FL so most of my hits come from off line and all over the US mostly. Once the hits started happening, they get consistently better. Just never quit! Keep working it like a job but run it like a business. I need more education on on-line promotion but so far off-line is starting to pay off. Just commit to doing something everyday! Stay excited and if I can help in any way let me know.

If you joined GDI two days ago, this must mean you have not passed your seven day trial period. You only earn commissions from ACTIVE members in your downline. Any member you have in your downline at this moment will most likely be still on the trial period as you are.

Your commission table will display the correct figures once your downline members convert (go from Trail to Active).

The trial period is 7 days long, so you must wait atleast 7 days from which your downline members joined GDI before you can earn any commissions from them (unless they make/made a purchase that does not qualify for the 7 day trial period).

Commissions are paid out on or before the 15th of every month for the previous month, so you will receive August's earning in September and September earnings in November and so on....

Just make sure your downline members are impressed and want to stick with GDI.

I agree with you in daily learning. This is also exspected for each member to read the GDI manual and attend the trainings and Webinars. This is the only way your going to learn quickly on how to navigate and what to do and do not. Please, complete all your understanding and at the same time get the word out via email, cards, posters. Just keep it simple and to not try to sell anything. GDI will do all the work by just introducing everyone to watch a few minutes of the video tutorials.  That is it. Anymore and your going to be wasting time and money.

Dont give up, IF what you are doing is not getting you the results try a new marketing approach. Example I google article marketing then put it into practice. I still to this day look up article marketing in you tube and learn new things. I like to leave my lynk in forums thats called forum marketing, join forums and share what works for you!!!!
